A new essay has been published, furthering examination of Ezekiel's prophecy, and how it relates to the situation in the Watchtower organization today. It is also available in Streaming Audio for both dial-up and broadband readers, and downloadable MP3. We hope you find this latest addition to the Ezekiel series encouraging and enlightening.

As a reminder, the new essays and commentaries are displayed on the front page of e-watchman now. Some have had trouble with their browsers still displaying the old page. If that happens you might want to press ctrl + F5 while you have the home page displayed in order to force your browser to load a fresh page.

P.S. I hope to have a new podcast posted tomorrow.

I just want to say this essay made so much sense, and it was so encouraging to me, that it almost brought me to tears. It helped me a lot. Thank you. Looking forward to the podcast.

When I first began studying the Bible with Jehovah's Witnesses back in the early 1970's I wondered of the possibility existed that their understanding of these prophecies from Ezekial, Joel, Zechariah etc. were being misapplied to Christendom and political leaders instead of to God's people themselves. I actually mentioned what I was thinking on this to my Bible teacher (an elder in the congregation). In fact, we were studying the book you qouted from in your essay at that time Robert "The Nations Shall Know That I Am Jehovah". I still have no regrets about my baptism though. I not only have a much greater understanding of the scriptures, but also a much better appreciation for Jehovah's God justice being tempered with His mercy in the future judgement of His organization as well as the shepherds that have mistreated the flock by being "Society men" ahead of being spiritual men that put Jehovah God first. Of course, I am not saying that all shepherds and elders are that way. There are many fine teachers of God's Word in the organization, who have been mislead by the GB in their understanding of Bible prophecies, but still attempt to treat the flock with kindess and tenderness and mercy and impartiality in judicial matters.

Bad news on the podcast. I have been recording the podcasts and the a-book of Jehovah Himself Has Become King on a Boss 10 track digital recorder. I know it's over-kill but it has some nice features and phantom power for my condenser mic. Any way, I recorded a special one-hour end-of-the-year e-watchman radio program today and as I was set to burn it to a disk so as to rip it onto my PC for further editing and uploading to the net....pooof....the thing crashed. The podcast program is gone! I got a couple of bald spots where I ripped clumps of hair out of my head! :Crash:

The machine had been acting buggy but I recorded the latest essay on it yesterday and it worked okay. But I think the machine is really gone now. I know you can record directly to a PC but I have no way to lite up my condenser mic and Saturday I am heading out of town for two weeks. So, sorry, but it looks like no podcast for awhile until I can get some technical problems sorted out.

Uh, I wish. I know you are kidding, but in case some don't know, a condenser mic requires an outside power source to power it up. I don't think PCs have that capability. I either have to get the 10 track fixed, which means shipping it to the Boss factory in Los Angeles or buy a dynamic mic, or buy a stand alone phantom power source for the mic I have. I wish a flashlight would do it.

Sorry to hear of your frustrations Robert. I can relate to losing hours and hours of work to these contraptions that swallow it up and take it to the common grave of machinery.

Well, you can get power out of USB ports, but I think the most you can do with that is charge up batteries (provided you have a USB battery charger), so that probably won't be of much use...
