What or how are you going to tell others when the time comes?

I give this more thought than any other subject, how to approach others after the collapse of the Watchtower society. What line of reason will you use, how will you approach the subject, and what scriptures will you use to show why things have gone so wrong? This is one of the reasons I try to encourage others to attend meetings is for this very reason, disfellowshipped or not.

We have spent years helping others to come to know Jehovah and the issues involved but the time will come for us to impart the knowledge we have received. So how much thought do we give to the matter?

Of course in the end it will be their love for Jehovah that will bring them through, but I know if I were in a state of utter confusion as they will be I would want someone to offer an explanation, because the elders aren't going to know about it unless they have been reading this site.

We can only do this if they know us and trust us, that's why we need to be at the KH 'NOW '.

So how much in the way of thought are you giving to the matter?

Here is how I would procede now.

Remember about a decade ago when the WTS changed the thinking on the separating of the sheep and the goats. For the longest time is was thought that since 1914 the sheep and the goats were being separated, then they changed their thinking and said that Christ had not yet sat down on his judgment throne and that noone had yet been judged. The separating of the sheep and the goats was still future. If that is the case, then you can point out that the judgment starts at the house of God ( 1 Pet. 4: 17). The WTS has created a tiny lapse of logic by asserting that the judgment hasn't occurred yet, even though they maintain that the annointed were judged by their imprisonment in Atlanta.

I wouldn't make a big issue of it but if the discussion came up I might just slip the idea into the conversation and allow some think I was an idiot and didn't know what I was talking about, and leave it for the curious to ponder. If corrected, you can always looked confused and say, "Are you sure?." If you whack people over the head with the information it is more likely to be rejected. Not everyone is really spiritually curious.

I agree with your reasoning entirely. As regards what I'd say, I already think that the Book of Joel is excellent for cutting to the heart of the matter. If Jehovah's Witnesses are as the WTS teaches, the insect army or military force, and the book describes the effect on Christendom of the preaching work, then why in Chapter 2 does Jehovah feel regret over that work (calling it a calamity), and regather them to himself? The alternative ie. that the insect army is the King of the North and it is God's people who come under attack and are then regathered leaves any reasoning bible student between a rock and a hard place! A good starting point for a wider discussion....

By the time we start talking to our Brothers about this during the tribulation, the fulfilment will be underway. The King of the North and his complete devastation of the WTS will be self evident - the storehouses will be torn down! So hopefully they will also take note of the things which will follow on. This coupled with post-tribulation prophesies which apply in that short time between the tribulation being cut short and the killing of the sealed annointed and the onset of Armagedon, will surely save many.

I see it as of paramount importance that we really exert ourselves to fully comprehend and reason on these things. We may have nothing more than a bible (if we are fortunate), so we must be able to present a convincing argument when it will really count. Many on this discussion board do not yet seem to have fully comprehended the privelege we have of having been given this advance notice. What do you think? Who knows how many of us worldwide will have this knowledge? Surely we have a great responsibility placed on all of us.

I thought I would set to memory the essays "We have concluded a Covenant with death" the two 1914 essays and the explanation of the book of Joel. I think theses will sum up many of the issues. Convincing other that 1914 is wrong will prove a real challenge but the book of Joel speaks for its self. The essay "We have concluded a Covenant with death" again some excellent scripture used that again speak for themselves.

Thank you for the reminder that it is a privilege to have been given this advanced notice. I sometimes think when I am studying or meditating WOW, I have been privileged to be part of something heavy. I do thank Jehovah because as of right now, I do not believe any of us know how JEHOVAH WILL USE US IN THE FUTURE. I am just trying to stay in his word and share what I can now as tastefully and tactfully as I can when the situation presents itself.

I do believe and I say all the time, we are living in very EXCITING, DRAMATIC AND DANGEROUS TIMES.

I doubt very much if it will be like Lot and his family ,where the angels
had to usher them out.The only reason for that was because of Abraham, other wise Lot and his family would have perished.
As wicked as those two cities were, Lots wife still looked back longingly at what she was leaving.
Then we have Christ deciples.
when they seen it was time to flee to the mountains, they did just that in the year 66AD.
Now if they had hung around waiting ,hoping they could convince their friends that the Mosaic Law was no longer in their lives , would they had listened to that one when they would not even listen to Gods Son.
No, those inside had complete trust in the teachings of the pharasees. After all the Temple was there wasn't it !!
Those who did flee ,no doubt were thought to be crazy. No doubt many even left business.Probaly the ones who stayed were even glad to get rid of these deciples of Christ.
They waited four years in the mountainous wilderness , some may have even had gone back after waiting for awhile. Once the Romans encircled their Temple the 2nd time in 70AD there was no getting out,it was too late.
I am not suggesting that all that know to leave, what i am saying is everyone at his own pace. Jah will see when the timing is right for that person to drift if that need be the case.
There are different platues in ones drifting away. It is not easy, but Jah willing it really happens.
We know God cannot LIE, and HE tells us that this operation of error went out to us with (HIS PERMISSION),so that those who did not love the Truth would believe the LIE. 2Thess 2:2-12
When Jah allows the WT to go down , NO one is going to tell those who are still with the org that it is Jehovah that has turned on them.
They the GB and all KHs are expecting, a fright ful event to take place. They of course are trained to believe it will be a santanic attack, The elders them selves are already assuring their small BS groups to be prepared, should they have to meet in secret and meet in small groups.
Can one even imagine to try and convince one then , that the attack is because of the WT sins !!

To take such action one would have to go against the WTs whole arrangment. won't happen because this will be Jehovah's disiplinary move.

we are blessed, and we will be used to the full. We are the ones who will reconize the birth of Gods Kingdom, And we will have the grand privlidge of preaching the GOOD NEWS OF GODS KINGdom ,supporting the true SONs of GOD( anointed ) in fufilling Matt 24:14.

I'm sure most of us recognize that in the end the pouring out of Gods spirit and the angles preaching the good news will be the final ingathering of the great crowd. It may well be that I myself am under the illusion that any are going to listen before that. But my understanding of the end is like this.

JWs are under the impression that Jehovah will never turn on his people as they were already judge back in 1919. However, things have to happen in a certain way for JWs. They believe that the GT will be triggered off by the fall of Babylon the great as was stated in Sundays Watchtower study. Then when the authorities realize that JWs are still operational then the persecution will start, the BS will come into play; they will go underground so to speak and wait for Jehovah to bring an end to the nations. If this happens any other way they will be in a total state of confusion. That's why in Joel 1:18 it states "O how the domestic animal has sighed! [How] the droves of cattle have wandered in confusion!"

We know differently that first the society goes down, Christendom then look on in glee. But imagine the confusion among the JWs that their institutional prophet's had got it wrong. As Jehovah speaks "'For the reason that YOU men have spoken untruth and YOU have visioned a lie, therefore here I am against YOU,' is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah." The elders will have no explanation, the society will offer no explanation and even if they could it will be too late, many will just drift back into the world. If I have to stand outside their houses and shout through their windows I will, theses people are my friends and I will do all that is possible for them. And if they run to the elders and say I'm crazy so be it. When I came into the truth I was one of those who needed to be gagged as I couldn't stop speaking about the things I had heard. I see the situation as the same. I have bottled all this up in me for two years and its all going to come out, knowing me all in one gulp of air; I will probably give them more than spiritual indigestion.

None of us can predict the way it will go and for some reason we may never get the opportunity to tell the others what's happened, who knows only time will tell. But as the saying goes "It is better to be prepared for an opportunity and not have one than to have an opportunity and not be prepared."

Do you have any idea how much we all appreciate you here. You have so much zeal and spiritual energy and love for your fellow man.

It rubs off on us.

I was the same way, when I was very new. I should have been gagged and locked up until I got some spiritual balance. (rofl) I drove my whole family totally nuts and probably scared them off. They thought I was insane.

Anyway, like yourself and all the others who Jehovah has blessed with this knowledge and those he will bless in the future, I will be whereever Jehovah positions me showing my love for Jehovah, Jesus and doing whatever Jehovah directs me to do through his Holy Spirit and my spiritual good common sense.

You are so full of love Kenneth, I can feel it.
