Robert, I have never been more proud of you as I was when I listened to your latest version of your pod cast. You were very encourageing on all levels brother. I really felt Fathers spirit move through you as you were talking. You handled very sensitive matters very delicately and you showed understanding and empathy torward those who are suffering. You also changed my attitude about being prepared in regards to the G.T when it comes to food supplies and such. you really put matters in a perspective that I could understand and appreciate....However I would ask you this.......when it come to those who live in appartments....its not so easy for them to store amounts of food. I can see if someone owns a home...but a appartment changes things up a bit dont you think? I look forward to your reply. But brother please believe me when I say that I am extreamly proud of you and Im even more certain now than I was before that Father is deffinately using you brother. I Thank you and above all I thank our God Jehovah.

60 minutes is better. err the duration, rather than the show. You don`t have a captive audience like in a hall. There is a pause button excertra, so its not like forcing the extra time on anyone. Good scriptural reasoning. Sound quality was great. I`ll hopefully give both the last two podcasts a listen before or after the public talk on sunday also.

I also thought the time extension was a good call (no brothers sitting there with a stopwatch LOL). It was also a very interesting podcast, thank you!

<div align="center">Roll upon Jehovah your way, and rely upon him, and he himself will act.—Ps. 37:5.
We can show fear of God by trusting in his promise to help us cope with our problems. This does not mean that we simply hand our problems over to Jehovah without doing what we can about them and expect him to act in our behalf. David did not pray to God for help and then leave matters at that. He used the physical and intellectual abilities that Jehovah granted him and tackled the problem at hand. (1 Sam. 21:10-15) Yet, David knew that human efforts alone could not be counted on for success. So it should be with us. Having done everything within our power, we must leave the rest to Jehovah. In fact, often there is nothing we can do but rely on Jehovah. This is where the fear of God comes into the picture in a very personal way. We can take comfort in David's heartfelt expression: "The intimacy with Jehovah belongs to those fearful of him."—Ps. 25:14. w06 8/1 1:10, 11

This was the daily text from yesterday....I thought that this was fitting for questions on survival. My Husband and I were just talking about using our own abilities while we can to stock up a little and trust Jehovah to do the rest. It doesn't mean that we don't have faith in Jehovah, he gave us our own ability and intellect to do what's right....Just interesting that I saw this post RIGHT after we were done talking about it. I don't think that was what the WTS had in mind when they wrote it....but it fit for me! lol
And even going along with this thinking...I find it interesting that they would even say something to this effect about anything, always using the commonly known phrase "We have to wait on Jehovah" WHY CAN'T YOU DO SOMETHING NOW?!?!.
Well...even a broken watch is right twice a day.
Just as I see it..

Uhmmm....I have to ask for forgiveness for my impatience here...heheh...I realize that Jehovah has to take care of these matters...and of course they won't do anything now. So forgive me for my seeming to be impatient. I know the society has many faults, but I do believe that they are Jehovah's choosen people and these things must take place. Sorry!!! *praying for forgiveness*

Hi EmmaKay,
Your thoughts are understandable...no forgiveness is needed.
Sometimes I would like to trade some experience/wisdom that comes from age for some zeal/impetuousness of youth.
Ah well, no turning back in this decaying system.
Excuse me, for my impatience for...Jehovahs' kingdom through Jesus.
brotherly love,
James

get a high speed link. That would help. oooooor... download the MP3 and listen to it from the local file. the download might take a bit, so set it up before you go to bed and it may be ready by the next morning...

Used to live where I had ADSL. When I shifted residence I couldn't get the same connection I had. The explanation was in the street where we are everybody is connceted to one main line although we have different phone numbers. If I was connected to ADSL everybody would be able to access my broadband connection. Sounds like the party line situation which was common a few years back.
Anyway thanks for the tips. Also AGAPE to you SFJ.
I just found an ISP that's offering a wireless connection (through the mobile phone network) at a reasonable price. I'm not sure what this would do for the bees in our area. Seems bees get confused by all the wireless signals floating around and so couldn't get back to the nest to feed the queen and so the colony dies.
Better stop. I'm rambling.
