I had the opportunity to take the speaker of the Special Talk (given worldwide) and his family out to lunch after the meeting yesterday. He shared with me that the talk was not in a manuscript form but was an outline, which gave each speaker at yesterday&#39;s talk a lot of leeway in how they handled the talk. Perhaps the speaker at your meeting was not adequately prepared, and that may be why he was bumbling around at the conclusion. All-in-all I felt the information was beneficial in contrasting mans rule with Christ future rule. Which, as you pointed out, most JW&#39;s believe has already begun.

The speaker I heard wasn`t bumbling though. He was a good speaker he just didn`t seem satisfied with the abillity to express that Christ is now ruling. Which makes sense to me. The talk was good though all round and what you say makes sense about the slightly less tight form. He was using alot of illustrations with various known figures an politicians. I suppose having freedom to expand gave the incentive to research and prepare bit. He was smart funny and well recieved which is why said matter seemed pronounced and slightly remarkable.
