A sad event occurred the other evening.
A couple who where close friends and the husband my book study conducter bumped into me whilst they where on the min.
They reported so many of our old friends that had left the truth and joined apostate websites, (would you belive).
I told them I would Love to come back but they wouldnt have me back as I had a few things I couldnt except such as the 3 1/2 years and the two witnesses being in 1919 and the silly climax of the book of Daniel being the Cedar point convention.
H esaid that they had changed their thinking on the 1919 stuff, I replied that they couildnt do that as thier whole claim to be the Faithfull and Descrete slave comes from thier suppossed testing in 1919.
Anyway, I said Iam a bit unhappy about the society joining the UN.
Of course they hadnt heard of this, I explained it all, said they could see all the evidence and the letter from the UN on the net.
The reply was that it cannot be true and that he wouldnt even want to look for any evidence even if was true.
I do worry that when the two Witnesses really do come, the society will tell all the Brothers that they are not from Jehovah and the Brothers will put alligence to the society above thier allegence to Jehovah, just as the Jews did.
I then added I didnt belive in 1914 either as I had gone this far.
I did feel sorry for adding yet another personal friend to thier list of "apostates".
I prayed that they wouldnt be disheartened.
Be interesting to see if I soon get a knock on the door from the disfellowshipping/spiritually stoning you to death commitee.
