I have been looking at 'Year Books' pre-1945, and I noticed Jesse Hemery served as Vice-President of the IBSA.

After using a search engine, I found out he served as Vice-President from 1901 to 1946, appointed originally by Brother Russell and serving in that capacity throughout Brother Rutherford's presidential term and during the early years of Brother Knorr.

To my surprise this longtime serving brother was disfellowshipped by Brother Knorr in 1951.

The reason for his disfellowshipping it would seem, was due to his view that the prophecies of Revelation were for the future, and that he could no longer accept the present time as being the period of Christ's presence.

After leaving the Society he founded the Goshen Fellowship.

Does anyone know about this brother's views and reasonings? Do they have a similiarity with the views some of us may have here on the DB?
Did he publish any of his reasonings?

Brotherly affection, Alex.

"The Goshen Fellowship was formed as a result of the ministry of Jesse Hemery. He was undoubtedly the most prominent Bible Student in England, serving as Vice President of the IBSA, a position he held until 1946 since his appointment by Pastor Russell in 1901. He was disfellowshipped by N. H. Knorr in 1951. Although he accepted much of Pastor Russell's interpretations, he did reject the second presence as being a current reality. Believing Revelation was to be fulfilled in the future, he wrote a few commentaries on Revelation and other books of prophecy. He died in 1955 shortly after founding the "Goshen Fellowship" in 1951."

There was a thread on here about the Society looking for company men to be elders
The society has already left the shepherding work, thats the reason for the expression of wanting company men, no more are they worried about how Jehovah wants things done,
we are now dealing with, a multi billion dollar Corperation,BIG BUSINESS, that we the publishers helped build.
I mean that literally, with sweat and sacrifices.
Jehovah's name nor scriptual concern can no longer come between the two.
If one sees this then that one must go.
The WT has become part of satans world along with all the other money making religions.
The proof is in the pudding, which was the NGO .
The WT is listed right beside all the other religions in the NGO records
