I saw this as I was doing a search on EBay. This is disgusting. Any thoughts?

I have purchased older (out of print) WT literature on eBay before. It may not necessarily be a brother or Sister selling this. It is a business for some to sell classic Early era WT and Russell literature. Many collectors also deal with WT literature on eBay. Some are JW's and some are not. It is also a way for some to get current literature such as this NWT without having to go to the Kingdom hall if they don't want to for some reason. Personally ... I don't have a problem with this. if someone wants to "peddle" the Word of God, that is between them and their Maker.

hmmmm I guess you are right.
I won't be judgemental on them, but I do find it odd.

I came across a comprehensive concordance in Oxfam the other week selling for £5. From time to time I have come across various books writen by the society in second hand shops, one was the old green bible for some its a spiritual antique. I doubt that people know there's no charge for them at their local KH. Some of Russell's older books are worth several hundred dollars I believe.

Hi Shibboleth,
I am also "guilty" of buying out of print Jehovahs Witnesses literature like DoutingThomas. I wanted to build a library and I use them for reference. Books like "Studies in the Scriptures" which I bought on E-bay just aren't available any other way. I know to most sellers it's just a business and there have been some estate sales( the person that owned the books had died). Just my point of view(so don't judge me too harshly)!
LOL,
James

Got to be better than throwing them out in the trash, and who know, somebody might come in the "truth" by it!, especially if the inside covers are covered in notes of which scriptures relate to usefull doctrine like mine is.
I didnt know Witness Bibles where "hard to get" though?
And whats this about this edition being "replaced in 1984"?,what have they replaced it with?

Hey James, I won't judge you heh.
I can see where some people come from.
I just never thought of it that some people were building for their library.
I started my library when I was just 5 years old, so I have alot of books. Most in storage.
So no judging, I just thought it was weird to see it on EBay.
