Wow! Thank you James for being so thought ful
If theres any one else I may have missed please include your names with the above, when I repeat James expresion to you all " Glory to the Most High "
it is that you all found this site,

If your a lover of Jehovah and His Son Christ Jesus then you all have found the right web site. Stay close dear ones as this is where the spirit of wanting the truth from Gods word rests.

Pastor Russell in the beginning never hindered his brothers the Bible Students to speak freely of the scriptures and dream dreams, ,
This action became forbidden as time went on until now where one is almost a mute inside the organization, and a apostate if one dares to share their thoughts with another inside the control of the GB.

You will not find that here. the truth once more has set us free.
I am almost sure that every one of you are surprised your self at how you had found this site.
Coincidence ? I don't think so !! Think about it !!

Well any way, we are so happy that you took that Giant Step

Love stayawake

James

Thank you, sister Stayawake for your kind words and, as always, your fine upbuilding thoughts for all to hear. And thank you Admin. for giving a place to welcome all who seek Jehovah and Jesus! It was long overdue.

brotherly love,
James

THank you stayawake,

I also believe that only the truth can set us free, so we should speak what we see is true.

May Jehovah be with his people and strengthen them in this enduring time!

I thank all those ones listed as coming to this site for comment - it gives me strength and encouragement to see many waking up and having the courage to speak out for truth, justice and genuine love for Jehovah and Jesus Christ

I was very excited the other day when i happened to run into a sister from the congregation, after we got to talking she mentioned reading this site and agreeing with much of what is being said - her husband also - so there must be many more out there we dont even know yet

Hi guys & gals,
I haven't forgotten about all of you over the last 5 years or so. Thanx to these Admins, Robert King for his website (and his great book!). I have been away,
I posted/replied here under camaroken81 some time ago while in a state of rage against the WTS, the KH, and then this DB. That rage has past and finally I got my,,,SELF together.
Back in the early 70's when I got baptized at Dodger Stadium (16years old), while my family was driving off the parking lot they were these people standing along the exits, holding signs denouncing the Society for,,,,some reasons. I asked my Mom what that was all about and she told me, "Don't look or pay attention to them, they're the Evil Slave Class". Little did I know I would be hanging around the "Bad Boys of the Brotherhood" decades later,,,

P.S. What happened to "LEE"?

Hello Brothers,

Thanks for the welcome. It's just me old Juan. I misplaced my password. And I couldn't recover it because I changed ISP. So I registered again.

The times she is getting more more interesting, no? I think we are in for some hard times! May we all have the mind of Christ.

Heb 12:2 as we look intently at the Chief Agent and Perfecter of our faith, Jesus. For the joy that was set before him he endured a torture stake, despising shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

I'm so dense. I thought the note Admin. pinned was just a reminder that we need to welcome new ones. I didn't realize a special forum was created. Thanks for pointing that out James, you're smarter than the average bear. ;)

Welcome to all the new ones! Juan, I thought you were the old Juan, but wasn't sure. I lost my You Tube account the same way. Changed ISP's and couldn't recover my password so I added two numbers to my old username and re-registered.

It's nice to meet former members that used to be here long before I showed up. Ken, you sound like you have a lot of zeal for Jehovah. Your comment made me picture a gang of Harley dudes with their skullcaps and tattoos. They are some of the nicest people you will ever meet, but they're stereo-typed as being bad boys. They're the kind of people who will give the shirt off their back to a stranger in need, while the local elder body tells a family that's struggling financially to sign up for food stamps and use the resources of the county before they ask for help from the congregation. :203:

Noname, I look forward to hearing more of your comments....and eventually learning your name. :185: It wouldn't happen to be In Cog Nito, would it?

Hello and Welcome one and all,

Warmest Christian Greetings to you all. It is my sincere prayer that you are all blessed by Jehovah God as you follow the voice of our Shepherd Christ Jesus. Do not put your trust in nobles, nor in the son of earthling man, but rather place your faith in Jehovah and He will make your paths straight and teach you to benefit yourself.

I eagerly await thoughts, comments, and ideas from all of you, new and old (new again) alike.

Thanks Watchman, and thank Timothy as well, for keeping this site in good repair so we can freely associate, and also for this new portion of the forum so our new ones feel welcome and don't slip under the radar.

Thanx all, I wrote a lengthy message just right now and it just UPed AND gone.
I know NOW that i am not here for congrats or to tell you what a hard time i've been thru.
"hello Gilligan - I go through many phases myself - sister Lee is now back at Paradise Cafe
This SIS LEE saw me thru a difficult time, I don't know her, neither an elder sister in the congregation who only smiled at me like an ANGEL would have, to spare my soul.

I thank you all for your DEEP discussions and insight to these "End of Times".

Hey Candace,
Yup, I have always been real close to Jehovah since I was a little kid.
It's amazing really, still alive after living with a force guiding your life.
I want to turn left, sometimes, against His spirit and then get slapped by Him to set me straight. But enough of me. Talk to me Candace, what brought you here?
I'm glad to come here and get vital info as well as encouragement thru this site.
In The Brig, thanx for smoothing it over for Prayser, I hoped that would turn out cool.

Hi Ken,

I was having my own personal crisis of conscience. When your heart tells you to do something contrary to what the GB or peer pressure from the congregation tells you to do, it's a major spiritual/mental/emotional struggle. I was literally crying out to Jehovah for help. He saw the anguish and pain I was going through and somehow led me here.

I don't recall exactly how I found Robert's e-book (http://jehovah-has-become-king.com/) but it was definitely an answer to my prayers. That was back in Jan. of 2007. My tears of anguish turned into tears of joy and relief as I read the book and realized how Jehovah knew exactly what was going on inside the congregations and what he was going to do about it. Having been in a spiritual depression for years, it was quite a spiritual awakening to find out the truth about the truth. Robert's book renewed my interest in reading the Bible, and helped me regain hope for the future.

I signed up here in the forum in Feb. 2007, and found some really good friends who have helped me on my spiritual journey. So many people here have played a part in helping me to make sense out of all the chaos. The people here are my spiritual family in the way Jehovah meant for brothers and sisters to build each other up. That had been missing from my life for a long time, not because of isolating myself from a congregation, but because those on the inside either couldn't or wouldn't respond in an appropriate way.

Inside the cong. you can't talk about your problems with anybody but the elders, otherwise you are slandering someone and spreading gossip. If you choose to confide in someone you hope they will not have a slip of the tongue and pass on confidential information. If you go to the elders repeatedly, and don't get the help you need, it puts a person in a very bad position. You are crying out for help, but being ignored, so what are you to do? Suffer silently?

Unfortunately, the elders would rather have you seek mental health services and get on Prozac or Effexor and see a shrink than confront the problems head on. A recent visit from a sister who moved away from this area confirmed that the local elders here shy away from helping families, just like the elders were doing back home where I came from. The problem is worse here than my previous congregation, unless my previous congregation has sunk to the same level. There's a widespread attitude of looking the other way when it comes to binge drinking and immorality.

Do you remember when divorce among Jehovah's people was rare? Do you remember when congregations would have congregation picnics or other kinds of get-togethers for the whole congregation? Do you remember believing 100% in the "this generation" teaching of 1914?

Nowadays it's common to see couples splitting up after a few months or a few years of marriage. Congregations are cautioned to keep their gatherings small and manageable. The teaching about "this generation" has been revised twice since I've been baptized, so that's three different versions during my time as a Witness.

I find my experiences are common to many of the members here. When I hear how others have coped it's very encouraging. It is wonderful to be able to associate with like-minded fellow believers. I look forward to hearing more from you and getting to know you and the other new members better.

(Galatians 6:10) . . .Really, then, as long as we have time favorable for it, let us work what is good toward all, but especially toward those related to [us] in the faith.

As long as the internet holds up, I hope to enjoy the fellowship with the brothers and sisters here on the forum. I also hope to make good use of this time, increasing my understanding of the Bible and how to put on the Christ-like personality.

(Proverbs 27:17) . . .By iron, iron itself is sharpened. So one man sharpens the face of another.

Jehovah's sheep might be scattered, but he knows how to take good care of them.

(Jeremiah 23:1-4) . . .“Woe to the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of my pasturage!” is the utterance of Jehovah.

2 Therefore this is what Jehovah the God of Israel has said against the shepherds who are shepherding my people: “YOU yourselves have scattered my sheep; and YOU kept dispersing them, and YOU have not turned your attention to them.”

“Here I am turning my attention upon YOU for the badness of YOUR dealings,” is the utterance of Jehovah.

3 “And I myself shall collect together the remnant of my sheep out of all the lands to which I had dispersed them, and I will bring them back to their pasture ground, and they will certainly be fruitful and become many. 4 And I will raise up over them shepherds who will actually shepherd them; and they will be afraid no more, neither will they be struck with any terror, and none will be missing,” is the utterance of Jehovah.

Dear Candace,
That is quite an experience. I managed to cope with my hardships for a long time without a DB or any "friends" for quite a long time. So, my heart goes out to you and others who share this tribulation. "The Great Tribulation"? I think what could possibly be worse than this personal hardship. Taking away your family outside and shot before your eyes? Threats of burning your home to show your allegiance? CHILDS PLAY, to having this slow process, eroding of the Holy Spirit dissolve among you/us. Only DEEP personal prayer, from the deepest part of your soul can we remain in God's grace.
Candace, you are strong and faithful, rock on,,,,

Hi Ken,

Yeah, I think a lot of us have spent years in relative isolation. It's interesting how Jehovah's spirit has directed us to a source of spiritual comfort. How often Jehovah provides a blessing to help us endure the hardships. I have more than two decades of trials to look back on, giving me a chance to reflect on how Jehovah made the way out time after time. I'm sure those memories will come in handy in the future, as they already have in recent times.

Enjoy your Godzilla marathon! :bieren:
