Good Morning Everyone :wave:
I was thinking about how Jehovah does not always reveal everything regarding his purposes to us all at one time. Example MT 24:36 Concerning the Day and Hour, etc no one knows but Jehovah.
The scriputre Deuteronomy 29:29 came to mind, which states:
"The things CONCEALED belong to JEHOVAH OUR GOD, but the things REVEALED belong to us and to our sons to time indefinite, that we may carry out all the words of this law."
It is interesting to me that Jehovah gives us what it is that we need in order to function spiritually and to develop a deep and close relationship with him and his son and to please him.
It is interesting to me how at times this does not seem to be enough.
Example the recent article regarding the FIRST RESURRECTION, and there is so much more that comes to my mind.
There are just some things Jehovah has decided not to open to us right now. Some things are just not necessary for us to know in order to please him. He has left us so much food to eat in order to understand him, get close to him and do his will.
It is our human curiosity that sometimes causes us to dig into areas and spend our time speculating and wondering about things that will not come to pass until Jehovah is ready to reveal these things to us.
I really do believe (sometimes) the evil one throws things out there to make us lose our focus, to keep us wrapped up in nonsense. Making sure of all things is necessary, but when certain theories are thrown out at us or we get wrapped up in speculations this can be dangerous.
I guess my point is, We have enough to chew on and work on and to STAY ON THE WATCH.
I also believe there is a very active and evil presence sitting right in the midst of us, giving us these 45 minute quick meals full of all kinds of unheard of preservatives to upset our spiritual digestive system and keep our spiritual vision blurred so we do not see things the way Jehovah wants us to see things.
It is my prayer that we all stay on the watch, remain focused and continue to ask Jehovah to help us discern his voice from the voice of others who want to keep our focus where it ought not be. All food that looks good is not good. Remember Daniel and his friends.
Jehovah does not cause confusion or disorder.
We know where that comes from.
