Hello Brothers and Sisters,
May Jehovah's Holy Spirit be upon you. I was just wondering if anyone has any thoughts or comments as to the meaning and/or context of 1Corinthians 6:3. Here is the verse for your review:
"3 Do YOU not know that we shall judge angels? Why, then, not matters of this life?"
So, my question is this: In what way shall 'we judge angels'? And who are the "we" being adressed?
Thoughts? Comments? Scriptural support? Thank you all, in advance.

Hi SfJ
Paul here is speaking to the brothers that are the body members of Christ or the little flock.
The angels that will be judged will be the so called fallen angels or the seed of satan known as the demons This of course does not take place until the Bride of Christ is already with the Groom in the heavens.
The same goes with the House of God ( the Bride ,144,000) being judged first NOW with the inspection of the now living Temple of Christ. 1 Thess 2{1-12 , Rev 3:9 and Rev 7:3. 1Pet 4:17
This is how I read the scriptures

So it may be possible that the angels will be judged upon thier works with mankind at the end of that 1000 years. which may not even be any kind of judgement to condemnation it may be a judgement of purley rewards. Not certain, interesting though. </span></div>

Hello SlaveForJah,
I agree with sister Stayawake's answer and if we look at the whole chapter 6, it does put it more in context.
(1 Corinthians 6:1-6) . . .Does anyone of YOU that has a case against the other dare to go to court before unrighteous men, and not before the holy ones? 2 Or do YOU not know that the holy ones will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by YOU, are YOU unfit to try very trivial matters? 3 Do YOU not know that we shall judge angels? Why, then, not matters of this life? 4 If, then, YOU do have matters of this life to be tried, is it the men looked down upon in the congregation that YOU put in as judges? 5 I am speaking to move YOU to shame. Is it true that there is not one wise man among YOU that will be able to judge between his brothers, 6 but brother goes to court with brother, and that before unbelievers?
Jinnvisible, good added commentary.

Hello all, and thanks for your replies so far.
So, I get that those doing the judging will be those of the holy ones, the called and chosen, the saints. But that leads me to a couple more questions.
How will the angels be judged? (Jinn, you touched on this one.)
Were not the angels from the pre-Flood days ALREADY judged?
Does this mean that the members of the Bride should be doing the judging between brothers at this current time, since it was they who were being addressed by Paul, and not those with an earthly hope?
Thanks again, in advance.
