I saw Director James Cameron (The Titanic) interviewed this morning on The Today Show. He has a new documentary that will premier March 4^th on Discovery Channel. Discovery Channel gave us that garbage "Gospel of Judas" last Easter season. Well, this new documentary is purporting the discovery of Jesus' tomb along with his mother Mary, his wife Mary, and his son Jude as well as some of his brothers. It is called "The Jesus Tomb; the Discovery, the Investigation, and the Evidence that Could Change History". The accompanying book will be at book stores. Like the Gospel of Judas program this documentary sets out to challenge the Bible narrative and this time attacks the key basis of Christian faith, the resurrection of Jesus Christ. But this documentary is produced by a big name so it has serious Hollywood clout behind it.

Cameron&#39;s efforts go a step beyond the Da Vinci Code allegations that Jesus had a child. In the past, A-O has reported on the Da Vinci Code and Knight&#39;s Templar stories and A-O predicted that these projects were illuminated efforts that would become the basis for future claims to discredit Christianity and the Biblical accounts of Jesus&#39; life, death and resurrection. That A-O prediction appears to be coming true in the next seven days.

Yes, it would appear that a major, earthshaking announcment of historic proportions is about to take place next Monday, (2/26/7) when a news conference will be held to announce the discovery of the Tomb of Jesus Christ of Nazareth as well as that of his family members. The news conference is part of a publicity effort in advance of a TV program that will focus on the archaeological discovery of this tomb and the containers that held the bodies of the family members. It is not clear if any remains have been found or not.



The Attack On Christianity Begins


The 3-time Oscar-winning (Titanic Movie) film-maker, James Cameron and associates will hold a news conference on Monday (2/26/7) in New York City, to announce to the world the discovery of the family tomb of Jesus Christ. The press release announcing the news conference indicates that a new documentary film by Cameron will feature not only the tomb but the contents of that tomb which housed the bodies of 10 Jews circa the 1st Century A.D. The tomb is located in a section of Jerusalem underneath an apartment biulding.

Included in the discovery are the bone-boxes, known as ossuaries of Jesus of Nazareth and his family. The release hints at the notion that there are remains of Jesus&#39; body in that bone box. The box in question contains the inscription: "Jesus, son of Joseph."

In addition to that news comes revelation that the tomb also contains the bone boxes of his father - Joseph, his mother, Mary and either his "wife" Mary Magdalene or a sister named Mary along with a box containing the inscription: Judah: "son of Jesus." There were other boxes with names of Jesus&#39; brothers. There are indications that the now famous bone box of his brother James was also found in this tomb. That relic was revealed to the public a few years ago and its authenticity remains in dispute. All told the researchers found 10 bone boxes in the tomb of which 6 remain

According to the preliminary information, the film documentary will reveal DNA testing that confirms a family relationship between the various remains, although how such tests could determine a spouse remains a mystery to this reporter. In researching for this A-O news article, there exists also a press release for the soon-to-be-released book by the film maker Cameron and the film&#39;s archaeologist Charles Pellegrino. The book press release description of the book claims that this discovery statistically has only a one in 10 million chance of being some other Jewish family than that of Jesus Christ. In other words, the book claims that this discovery is nearly absolute proof that Jesus not only existed, but that He never resurrected and ascended into heaven. It also then would reveal that Jesus married and had children, something never indicated in the Biblical texts.

Questions on Terminology

Various articles on this subect have been using the term "coffins" as having been found in the burial cave. Yet in other articles the terms "bone box" or "ossuaries" are used. The term "coffins" is probably misleading to 21st century thinking. In the first century A.D.Jewish burial customs simply laid out the body, wrapped in burial linens and encased in ointments. Once the body had decomposed to that of bones, the bones would be placed in a small, usually limestone box, which archaeologists term, an "ossuary" but euphmestically are sometimes referred to by non-scholars as a "bone-box."

It is not clear from the pre-news conference publicity articles as to whether or not the items in question are ossuaries (bone-boxes) or in all actuality, coffins as we, humans think of the term "coffin."

This aspect is but one of many questions left unanswered as the world awaits the film maker&#39;s news conference which is set for Monday (2/26/7) in New York City. Part of the news conference will include the display of two of the bone boxes. It is thought that the two boxes will allegedly be that of Jesus and of his mother Mary.

+ What exactly was found inside the ossuaries?
+ How can DNA testing confirm marital spouses?
+ How can we know the inscriptions are genuine and not forgeries?

+ Is there evidence of human presence in tomb between 30 ad & 1980?


It should be noted that according to Israeli newspaper accounts, the Israeli Antiquities Authority has been the custodian of the "coffins" or "ossuaries" since the discovery was made in 1980. The boxes are being stored in the town of Beit Shemesh, near Jerusalem. As noted earlier, two of the boxes have been reportedly flown to New York City for the news conference on Monday, February 26th, 2007.

Outside Background on the Archaeology of this Story

Last year a Dr. James Tabor (archaeologist and chairman of Religious Studes at the University of North Carolina) authored a book called "The Jesus Dynasty." It has flown under the radar and this reporter only discovered its existence today in researching for this article. Biblical Archaeology Review has followed the Apostle James (brother of Jesus) bone-box story and the heated debates over its authenticity. It now appears that it came from the same tomb as that of the alleged Jesus&#39; Tomb. The debate over the James "ossuary" then is relevant to the argument of the other bone boxes found in the Jesus Tomb. Why?

Some of the same alleged "scholarly" critics against the James ossuary have really made themselves look like idiots yet the media touts them as authoritative because of their credentials and for the most part avoids citing scholarly proponents whose opinons support the biblical texts. TV Broadcast of Documentary Film

Apparently the documentary film will .be shown on various TV broadcasts soon On March 4th, American cable televsion&#39;s "The Discovery Channel" will air the broadcast. It will also air on the "international" Discovery channel. In Britain, the program will be shown on Channel 4, while in Canada it will air on "Vision" and in Israel on Channel 8 which took part in the production of the show. It is as yet unclear whether or not the film will be broadcast simultaenously or on different dates. The news conference will likely clarify that point on Monday.

Book Debuts On Tuesday

The book describing the discovery of the tomb, the investigation thereafter and the making of the film is set for release in America to the public on Tuesday, February 27th. The book will not debut in Britain apparently until April 7th. The book is being published in America by Harper-Collins.



A-O Report Interim Analysis:

It would appear that this story is a set up by the New World Order crowd of Freemasons and the Illuminists. Apparently they&#39;re game-plan is to spin-doctor this thing so that the Antichrist can come to power. This reporter had suspected something like this would develop after all the hype and build up from the Da Vinci Code book and movie and the announced discovery of the Gnostic "Gospel of Judas" and the hype over the Gnostic Gospel of Mary Magdalene.

James Cameron is the key man behind the film documentary. Cameron is a 3-time Oscar winning film-make who is known primarily for his blockbuster movie "Titanic" is also reported to be a 33rd degree freemason. If so, he is also, most likely connected with the Illuminati movement, either directly or indirectly.

This impending announcement and revelation about the "coffin" or ossuary of Jesus of Nazareth is probably the last step in the Illuminati&#39;s set up process, so necessary before the revealing their "messiah" of the future, i.e. The Antichrist.

Most likely, the "illuminated spin doctors" will try to eventually claim a DNA link between Jesus of Nazareth and a new "messiah" when that "man of sin" (i.e. "man of chaos") is revealed to the public. Most likely the Illuminists will claim the new &#39;messiah&#39; is a "descendant" of Jesus. IF so, expect these apologists to point to.the Gnostic Gospels and the Knights Templar legends, ala the book "The DaVinci Code," as proof to support their claims. It will be one of the big building blocks that comprise the "Big Lie" of Satan. How many people who claim to be Christians will fall for this fabrication? Is it possible that most of the "Christian" world will fall for this deception? Don&#39;t be surprised if that is the case.

Other Theological Repercusions

The claim that Jesus of Nazareth died and never resurrected essentially destroys Biblically-based conservative Christianity and strengthens the "liberal" Christian or "new-age" Christian theology as well as deism and Freemasonry. It also strengthens traditional Judaism and takes the Jews off-the-hook so to speak for killing the &#39;Son of God" because without a Resurrection, there is no divinity for Jesus. If there was no divinity for Jesus and that he was merely another man with Adam&#39;s DNA, not the Creator&#39;s, then there is no substitutionary atonement for sin and if no substitutionary atonement for sin, then there is no salvation. This opens up the world for a new, unified one-world religion. A new "Tower of Babel" religion.

If all of the above were the case, then every other theological element in the Bible is called into serious question including the question of who Jehovah is? From this standpoint, the NWO-Illuminists can conclude that Jehovah was but one of the many "elohim" which the Sumerian Royal Library records refer to as "The Anunnaki" - the gods and goddesses from another planet who were space travelers who came to Earth. It opens up the Illuminist argument for the return of the Anunnaki, the "space brothers" who were the gods of Babylon/Sumer. In the Genesis 6 account they were called the "benai hahelohim" or "sons of God." Their hybrid offspring with human women were called = "The Nephilim."

The Illuminist explanation would then unfold as follows. These entities who came down to Earth, established a colony, and created mankind using laboratory genetics. According to Sumerian Royal Records discovered by archaeologists the Anunnaki crossed over some of their DNA with that of monkeys or primates existing on Earth at the time, to create the human race for the purpose of making them slaves to mine for gold. According to the Sumerians (forerunners of the Babylonians) these &#39;gods&#39; kept humanity enslaved for tens or hundreds of thousands of years as gold mining on Earth progressed. The gold was used to create an environmental shield for the Anunnaki planet, which the Sumerians called Nibiru.

Can you see where this sort of hypothesis leads? It essentially destroys the Bible and sets the stage for an non-human entities (fallen angels) to decieve mankind into accepting the Big Lie to which Biblical Prophecy references as the great "Apostasy." Truly such a scenario would result in a great "apostasy."

IF, indeed this is the case, then we as Believers in Jesus Christ, stand on the threshold of Biblical prophetic fulfillment. Standby for mind-bending events to unfold shortly. Look for dramatic events to unfold with signs in the heavens, in the weather and in the earth.

This developing story is likely the most significant prophetically oriented event since the American conquest of Iraq and as equally important as the re-birth of Israel in 1948.

Look for major coverage on this story by the Mainstream News Media. The MSM will most likely be all over this story. If not, it will be because they fear a backlash from the True Church. If so, the story will be soft-pedaled until the Christians are gone in the Rapture. IF, the NWO crowd believes there will be no rapture, more than likely, the Mainstream Media will be ordered to shove this story down the public&#39;s throat. So watch how the mainstream media covers this story, not just the news conference but also the debut of the film on TV. So the next two weeks for media exposure will likely be a tip-off as to what the Illuminists are expecting in the way of a Rapture event.

Actually, it was National Geographic that came out with this nonsense. I know because I was pretty disappointed in them, publishing such sensationalist tripe. That&#39;s just what it is, sensationalism; it has no basis in science, they just publish/broadcast it to shock people. Same with this tomb of Jesus nonsense. Of course they can never prove that that tomb was really his, just like people cannot prove that the many relics that are preserved are in any way connected to Christ.

Then why do respected networks like National Geographic and Discovery come out with this pseudo-scientific nonsense? Because it sells. People have gobbled up The DaVinci Code, and now everyone wants to piggyback on that success - NGC had the gospel of Judas (a worthless document from a theological point of view, only interesting from a historian&#39;s point of view), and now Discovery has to have something Jesus-related too, so they come up with something that happened 27 years ago (the tomb was discovered in 1980). Note that they have no conclusive evidence that this was the tomb of Jesus of Nazareth - it&#39;s all conjecture, and sadly it will fool many gullible people.

The absurdity of warning veteran Captain Edward Smith repeatedly on Titanic&#39;s tragic night to slow down is nothing short of preposterous. The fact that Smith never listened or heeded the warnings is insane. He had been given orders from his god in the Vatican, and nothing would turn him from his course.

The encyclopedias paint a very tragic picture of Smith in his last hours. When it came time to give the order to load and lower the lifeboats, Smith wavered and one of his aids had to approach him for the order to be given. Smith&#39;s legendary skills of leadership seem to have left him; he was curiously indecisive and unusually cautious on that fatal night. Are these words to describe a legendary sea captain with 26 years of experience, or are these words to describe a man who was struggling in his mind whether he should do his duty as a sea captain or obey his master who told him to sink the ship?

John Jacob Astor&#39;s wife got into a life boat and was saved, while John Jacob Astor perished in the waters of the North Atlantic. There were not enough lifeboats and many of them were only half full with only women and children.
To prevent nearby freighters from responding with help, the distress flares were white when they should have been red. White flares to passing freighters state that everybody was having a party.

People have gobbled up The DaVinci Code, and now everyone wants to piggyback on that success - NGC had the gospel of Judas (a worthless document from a theological point of view, only interesting from a historian&#39;s point of view), and now Discovery has to have something Jesus-related too, so they come up with something that happened 27 years ago (the tomb was discovered in 1980). Note that they have no conclusive evidence that this was the tomb of Jesus of Nazareth - it&#39;s all conjecture, and sadly it will fool many gullible people.[/b]

Some food for thought: It is well known that there are forgers of antiquities in the area. Experts have also said that the names on these tombs are common ones at the time. DNA testing has supposedly been done on the bones and remains in the tombs. But why would Jesus DNA match that of any mortal? There is no DNA to compare to Jesus because his father was God. Why is that hard to believe? In 2007 a virgin can have an embryo of others implanted in her and the DNA of the child would not match the mother. The assumption is being made that because the DNA is not a match to Mary (his supposed wife) that she must be his wife not his sister or someone else. That is an absurd assumption.



Satan never gives up. Did you see the Da Vinci Code? Nothing but conspiracy theories, and made up things that don’t reflect the Bible at all (Ooooh! A conspiracy theorist!). But people think that because it is on the Discovery Channel or the NG Channel that it MUST be true. I personally think it is Satan hard at work to destroy the faith of as many as possible before the return of Christ.



Just a few quick questions here:

1. The Romans and Jewish priest were not too keen on Christians. Why didn’t they expose these tombs 2,000 years ago?

2. A big family tomb for a poor family from Nazareth? Long donkey ride for a funeral.

3. Saul/Paul was not a big fan of Christ to start with, this would have been a big roadblock on the road to Damascus.

4. The twelve apostles might have found that revealing these tombs could have made their deaths less nasty. Any answers?

I saw the special last night. I couldn&#39;t resist. I actually thought it was well done. It still doesn&#39;t change my view, but I can see where it could probably affect other people&#39;s minds. They did have a little disclaimer at the beginning about having to make a decision on your own about it.

I did get the feeling it was anti-God sunday on discovery. Before the tomb of Jesus they had a 2 hour special on Masons and then an hour special on the flood and how it didn&#39;t happen the way it did in the bible. They decided to go the Babylonian mythos instead.

My wife and I tried to sit down and make it through the whole thing, but it was torturous. To say it was slanted is a huge understatement.

Something really good came out of it, though. My wife, who has had her hands over her eyes and ears (sorry e&e) since I embarked on my research mission a few months ago, is starting to show a lot of interest in all this, peering over my shoulder, asking questions about everything. I have never tried to force anything on her, but now she&#39;s beginning to see the light and understand. As you can all imagine, this makes life a lot different around my house.

I believe what we&#39;re seeing here is yet another (sorry) conspiracy. The thing that got my attention was that dang "All-Seeing Eye" above the entrance. Were Jesus&#39; family occultists? I don&#39;t think so. Not only that, it seems that all the bone ossuaries ended up in some warehouse, and they were "discovered" there. Also, the bones are dated from approximately the 12th century. Did anyone say "Knights Templar"?

Chevron and Related Symbols


Moving on to "like" symbols, the similarity of the chevron to the All-Seeing Eye or Eye of Providence is striking. This places us smack dab in The Da Vinci Code territory but is it possible that Dan Brown had at least some of it right? It requires a flight or two of fancy, but if we connect a few dots we can draw a line through history from the tomb straight to today.

The link? Not Leonardo, but one of his apprentices. Supper at Emmaus, by Jacopo Carucci da Pontormo, takes as its subject the Risen Jesus. What is the significance of the All-Seeing Eye, so similar to the circle within the pyramid-like chevron, hovering over the Saviour?

If the Tomb of the Ten Ossuaries is that of Jesus and his family, the only people who would have had that information in the first century would have been the Judeo-Christian community of Jerusalem. Interestingly, history tells us that the Judeo-Christians were considered heretics because they held that Jesus was a man and not a divinity. Generation after generation, the existence and location of Jesus&#39; tomb would have been passed down. Conceivably, it could very well have fallen into the hands of the Crusaders, the Knights Templar, who arrived in Jerusalem as "pilgrims" in the twelfth century.

Coincidentally, the same accusation was leveled against the Knights Templar: that Jesus was a man and not a God. If the Templar Knights were shown the tomb of Jesus, it would explain why Templars—and later, Masons—have always been convinced of this "heresy." Until only recently, it was a point of faith that Jesus&#39; ascension was physical, that his flesh was incorruptible. If the Knights knew this central tenet of the Church was incorrect, they were sitting on powerful information indeed.

Further, the Knights Templar have always been linked with ritual practices. Is it possible that the skulls laid out in the tomb and its antechamber were there as part of some twelfth century ceremony? We do know that the bones are not from the time of Jesus but a much later period. In the end, we&#39;re not certain of the meaning of the symbol on the tomb&#39;s façade. But that&#39;s archaeology for you: a few facts, a lot of speculation, and far more questions than answers.

I also watched the broadcast after the show, I think it was Ted Koeppel(sp) who did the interview. He brought up an interesting point taht I was also wondering during the whole episode. Why didn&#39;t they DNA test the rest of the ossuiarys(sp)? Jocobvici&#39;s response was they did not have enough fragments in the other boxes. They had been vacuumed cleaned before they had a chance to get them. The only ones that had fragments were the supposed box of Jesus and Mariamne (Whom they suspect as being Mary Magdelene). So they have to do some other types of test on those boxes to get the DNA.

They thing I find very interesting about this whole thing is that this is the stuff that breaks religion. I find it interesting that this is being discussed at this time frame. This is the type of stuff that brings doubts to people&#39;s minds.

It will be interesting to see what unfolds this year as regards prophecies. I think this going to be one heck of a year. It is also interesting that Bush is going into his 7th year of power. I think we are watching prophecies unfold and we don&#39;t understand it. Yet.

I saw Director James Cameron (The Titanic) interviewed this morning on The Today Show. He has a new documentary that will premier March 4^th on Discovery Channel. Discovery Channel gave us that garbage "Gospel of Judas" last Easter season.
