Hi everyone

It has been a rather stressful past week for me. My sister became ill and had to be hospitalized. So I have been out of town with her. Anyway, she's on the mend and I am back at my desk now.

I put together a little video for YouTube. CLICK HERE TO VIEW (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wxgu7YaKwS0)

As I figure out what I am doing with this video editing stuff I hope to do longer videos.

Good video. Simple, yet effective. Powerful imagery. :) And what was the background music? Some sort of Gregorian chant I imagine, but do you happen to know the title?

And also, I hope that your sister gets well soon. Having a loved one hospitalized is a most unpleasant event, so I wish you all the best.

Glad you are doing better, and that your sister is on the mend.

Thanks for the Video.

Glad to hear your sister is going to be OK!

Great video, and a spectacular solar flare graphic, I've never seen anything like that.

Reminds me of a talk I heard a few years ago during which the brother brought out some awesome things about the sun's power, for instance, if you took a piece of the sun the size of the head of a pin, and put it on the earth, it would incinerate everything within a 90 mile radius. And our sun is a miniscule star compared to some of the bigger ones.

He also said that a single human cell is similar in complexity to the City of New York, but 100 times more efficient.

Very well done watchman!

You're definitely getting the hang of it as we watched and pondered on Jehovahs' awesome power. Hope to see more soon. My prayers are with you and your sister.

This is a perfect example in production that “less is more”. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then with a few words makes awesome!

Awesome pictures, the music was not good for me. I think the negative feelings come from the societys rejection of anything resembling christendom. It sounds like something being orchestrated in an old catholic church of england, or something. I don't like it because I can't understand the words, being in another language.

I also noticed, that at the end "E-Watchman.com" got almost as much time, as "Jehovah is my name". I also found this quite distressing, the use of such valuable time (minutes & seconds) to advertise a no brainer. I mean like, where else would it have come from? Space? Startrek? LOL

I too wish your sister well, and a speedy recovery.

I realize that some might find my choice of music disturbing. But to me, though, it is simply art. In my view true art is an expression of man's inner longing for God. Let's face it, some of the most beautiful and inspiring music is religious. Isn't that what music is supposed to do -- inspire us?

In the first video I used a clip of Michelangelo's creation of Adam, which of course is considered one of the greatest works of art. But did you know that the Catholic Church commissioned Michelangelo to do the painting? In fact, it is plastered on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican. Does that make it any less inspiring? I don't think so.

As for the e-watchman.com logo on the video, it is not such a "no-brainer." The first couple of videos were produced for the non-JW audience on You Tube. Because you can't add a hyperlink directly to the video I wanted to provide the viewer some means to find my website.

I agree about the music. If we were to chuck out every religious piece of music, we could hardly listen to any classical music at all. Take, for instance, Mozart's Requiem. I love that piece, even though it does not always deal with matters correctly, but that's partly because the Church had so much power back then, that it blinded the understanding of the common man. But in the music, even the common man could express his own personal search for God, separate from that Church. As with everything, you of course have to figure out what the meaning of the lyrics is, to see what is and what is not in line with God's views.

On to the painting... again, I really appreciate many paintings by the old masters, most of which were either based on Biblical events or on mythology (because that way they could paint nudes without repercussion, probably). A lot of that stuff has been commissioned by the Church, but that does not make it any less magnificent. I do have a problem, however, with depicting God. I realize that this is a matter of opinion, so I will just state my opinion here, without saying that it must be done so-or-so. The problem is that when you try to capture God's magnificence in a picture, you quickly realize that you can't. Michelangelo, with all his talents, hasn't painted more than an old man with a beard. The Society's pictures of God aren't more than a yellow man on a throne. While the intentions are good, the result is so that you only degrade God's incredible majesty. Note that even Ezekiel, who saw such intricate visions of God on his throne, never even dared to say 'I saw this and that', instead writing 'something like', and 'the appearance of'. My point is that imperfect humans cannot ever hope to imagine, or capture in imagery, what is perfect. The same would apply to anything in heaven, in my view.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

From my own research, and I'm sure many of you could confirm it, the Catholic Church is not, and never was, Christian. It is Luciferian.

So the music that comes out of it is music to Lucifer. Lucifer is not Jehovah.

Dear Robert,

Theosophy is philosophy of the occult. The Theosophical Society was founded by Helen Blavatsky.

Theosophists claim Lucifer as their own. Many are channels for the spirit world, receiving information and direction. In this world, there are two manifestations of the Devil: Lucifer is the angel of light and Satan is the angel of darkness. They don't care which way you worship, Lucifer or Satan.

It is Lucifer who will be used to bring in the New World Order. His deception of looking like 'an angel of light' is what will deceive many. The second wild beast of Revelation 13 has two horns…it looks like a lamb and speaks like a dragon.

Light and dark worship began in Babylon at the tower of Babel, so why should we be surprised to find out that the Catholic Church was, from its very beginning, Luciferian. Satan has infiltrated every religious organization on earth, including JWs, which is why we see the problems that we do.

I could post quotes from Theosophist dogma to make my point, but I don't think this forum is the place for it. But anyone can put topics into the search engine and come up with the same information I did.

Personally, it's been quite an education to learn the 'rest of the story.'

Love,

The Adept of the Mysteries don’t accept Lucifer to be Satan, they believe this is our “Christian superstition”. They also believe Lucifer was using the serpent to persuade Eve to become wise in the Garden. (The Luciferian Doctrine) And of coarse we know this was Satan because Jesus called him the “Father of the Lie”. This is the connection, for I believe as Brother Watchman has said, Lucifer is not translated Satan in the Scripture text.

Isn`t that like saying that walmart was never a christian organisation so therefore the cheese that comes from walmart is Satans cheese ?

The society fully accepts that the annointed have been connected to the apostate churches of christendom throughout the intermediate centuries of the great apostacy.

I haven`t seen the video, I`m on dial up, dial up is hard cheese.

Well I meant the "E-Watchman.com" thing as a joke, linking it to the "UN" discovery in the Awake magazine being mentioned more than Gods kingdom. I'm sorry if I upset you watchman.

Your response to my concerns about music, is interesting, and I think worth considering, though I still feel unconfortable with it being associated with your video, instead of a pure instrumental work. Maybe just some tribal drums beating in the background like that GM Pontiac commercial, minus the ladies in short skirts. Just kidding
