Ever hear of “cow mutilations”? The U.Foologests tried to credit this to aliens from space but proved to be a secrete government program to keep track of radiation leaks from near by power reactors by dissecting cows in the field at night to avoid detection to re exam them later in the Lab. Did I just take the bait?

The nephilim drowned in the Deluge. They won't be coming back. The demons, however, are still around and obviously exerting a great influence over the world. But the Scriptures seem to indicate that after the flood Jehovah has prevented them from materializing in the flesh, as they did before the Flood.

quite often today the term intellectual heavyweight is used in reference to a powerful person.

could it be that the nephilim were intellectual giants?
and dominated the people by oppression.
notably in todays society control over people has moved from a physical act to a more suttle one of financial control.
perhaps the nephilim used their brains to cause humans to have bad thoughts from their hearts.

I have always wondered too about the possibility of Nephilim existing. The only scriptures I can find about them are the following:

Genesis 6:4 – (NWT) The Nephilim proved to be in the earth in those days, and also after that, when the sons of the [true] God continued to have relations with the daughters of men and they bore sons to them, they were the mighty ones who were of old, the men of fame.

Numbers 13:32 – (NWT) And they kept on bringing forth to the sons of Israel a bad report of the land that they had spied out, saying: 'The land, which we passed through to spy it out, is a land that eats up its inhabitants; and all the people whom we saw in the midst of it are men of extraordinary size.

Verse 33 – And there we saw the Nephilim, the sons of Anak, who are from the Nephilim; so that we became in our own eyes like grasshoppers, and the same way we became in their eyes.'

Here are some other translations of Genesis 6:4 and Numbers 13:33:

I have no answers about this question….only more questions. :unsure:

That Femur by the way, is said to be the size of that King Og was it when judging him by the size of his bed.

IMHO the way I see it,
Everyone back there were aware of the Flood as being FACT. They also knew that Satan tried to create a Super Human Race, with the demons and humans.
This would make the Nephilim a HYBRED unable to reproduce
The Isrealites are of short structure, so of course to them anyone over even a foot taller then they were would be a giant to them.
To better get accross as to what they felt the inhabiants looked like they would be likened to the Nephilim ,
those who did not spy out the land were then able to get a good picture as to what they were going to face, by the spys using the term Nephilim.
(I know this to be a fact as I am 5 ft tall, and even my friends that are only 5ft 7 or 5 ft 9 sometime call me a munchkin.)
I am sure that was ONE reason for the flood, was to wipe off the face of the earth this new Super RACE that Satan got started.

Hi LV, if I may,

I don&#39;t think we have any evidence of any more angels joining the rebellion after the flood. That&#39;s not to say that good angels still couldn&#39;t, but it seems very unlikely that any would do so after seeing how Jehovah had handled the whole rebellion. They would have to be suicidal after having previously displayed loyalty.

I wouldn&#39;t worry about them materializing again. They don&#39;t need to materialize to be in total control of world leaders, they enter them through spiritism.

Just remember, for every demon there are at least two angels.

So what was Goliath? He was tall, but was he just tall because or a angel baby? There were other tall men during the time of Goliath, one that had 6 fingers on both hands, and other tall men. Why were these men so tall and big if they did not have angels for fathers? How tall was goliath in feet and inches? Anyone know how tall the Niphilm were?

Hi Dorcas, hope you are ready for the flack, one thing you can be sure of, we know Satan rules the world, now is he going to give money and power to the likes of you and me who would do good things with it?, thats a hard one,
He will give Money and Power to those who have sought him, worship him, and will do his will, doubtless Satan is still using his original lies on them such as not dying, which is why these guys belive in re-incarnation.

Actually, as an aside, I read how I think it was the assasins who would get a guy to stand in a pit with a split plate around his neck, when the plate was together it looked like a platter with a dis-embodied head on it.
When the assasin to be decieved came in, the "head" would start talking telling the assasin how wonderfull it was in paradise, the place he would be going when he died on his mission.

You can be sure Satans got a few tricks to make these guys belive they are immortal demi-gods with the right to lord it over mankind.

Tall and short are relative terms. If a man was 5&#39;4&#39;&#39;, one of our 7ft. + basketball players might seem like a giant. That&#39;s not to say that Satan might not use whoever he can. If I remember correctly, I don&#39;t think the demons were allowed to fashion bodies for themselves after the Flood. Satan had to resort to demon possession. I studied with a woman who was possessed, and that was frightening!

The Nephilim, are they here in our time or is their spirit prevelant? I think that our time is like Noah&#39;s, but without the Nephilim as physical people. But their spirit and the spirit of their father&#39;s lives on in our societies. Kids doing hardcore crimes such as murder and drug traficking. Violent gangs run amok. Corupt politicians and other government officials. African warlords who kill innocents and maim their people into submission. Genocides. Fratricides. Men governing men to injury. Kids killing homeless for sport. etc etc.

The spirit is prevelant even though the Nephilim do not exist.

If you want a mental picture of the Nephilim, just pick up or look at some of these body builders with rippling muslces trying to win the worlds strongest, or most well fit looking man contests. Some look like they are on steroids, some may be, but the Nephilim didn&#39;t need to work out, or take drugs, they grew into these type bodies naturally, with probably 20/15 vison, keen senses of smell, and hearing. They were superior to everyone, because their fathers were from the angelic realm, with no defects other than the error of forsaking their place in the heavens without Jehovahs permission.
