Hello everyone

I just wanted to make you aware that there is a new blog. It is the same URL and link as the old blog but I am now publishing the blog right off my Apple notebook using a program called i-web. The previous blog platform I had been using was very complicated and had many limitations. I-web gives me a lot more options. As you can see I kind of went nuts with the graphics on the latest blog entry on the Titanic. I'll try to get a grip on future entires. LOL

The downside of the new blog is that it takes a few seconds to load and there are a few bugs when viewing the blog in Internet Explorer browser. It seems to display alright in Firefox and in Apple's Safari, of course. If you do not run Firefox it is a free download, as is Safari. By the way, Safari runs on Windows too. But let me know if there are any bugs or other issues.

I am also intent on re-doing the media site so that I can design and upload podcasts and videos directly off of i-web as well.

What great presentation watchman, i fall asleep listening to your radio and pod casts, not with boredom lol, but its such easy listening. I always use to refer to the world as sinking like the titanic, but never would i have invisioned it relating to the watchtower.

Really enjoyed the new blog. Powerful illustration. It reminds me of when I first saw the movie. Just like the Titanic was promoted as an unsinkable ship, the WT religion has also been promoted as an unsinkable ship.

Thanks for sounding out the warning ahead of time.

Did you hear the other theory of how the titanic sunk, aparently it was to do with the major banking cartels at the time. The bank of rome had the go ahead to control the federal bank, but Three other guys who were aparently loaded and from one of these aristocrat famalies were offered a position to also purchase. Because they were going to be sailing aboard the titanic, the bank of Rome had a jesuit priest sail the ship, and he was to make sure to sink the ship at all costs even risking his own life. So these three men missed out on their bid for the banking deal. It seems a bit far fetched. Does anyone else know if theres any truth to this story.

Just wondering where this blog has gone. I noted the comments made by Eli's Foe on the blog and checked out the link to Gerald Celente on Coast to Coast Radio on Youtube. This appeared to be an accusation of plagiarism............what's the story here?

Hi Cornelius. Here is the deal, there are some technical issues with the blog, namely, when I started producing the blog on Apple's i-web it gave you the option of uploading to a third party site using ftp or using Apple's server. I opted to use Apple's server primarily because the comments feature of the Apple template is disabled if one does not use the Apple server. So, I wanted people to be able to comment so I went with the Apple server. The Apple server allows you to use a personal domain, so I thought, great, I'll retain the e-watchman.co.uk domain, since the search engines have indexed it well. However, I didn't realize that if you use the Apple server the downside is that the i-web automatically attaches a long and rather unwieldy addition to your domain, so that e-watchman.co.uk ended up being e-watchman.co.uk/blog/BLOG/BLOG/html and the already indexed search engine links would not work. So, I decided to switch back to the third party server because it was brought to my attention by an Apple i-web discussion group that there is a way to retain a domain on third party servers using a special ftp program. Now that the server has redirected the domain I will be uploading the new blog back to the old server. Unfortunately the comments feature will not work now.

As for plagerizing the Titanic material, actually, I ripped myself off. I used to give a talk about 20 years ago where I used the Titanic as an analogy for the system going down. Besides, I wasn't trying to break new ground with that blog entry. It was basically a throw away. I was more interested in taking the i-web out for a spin rather than the content of that particular entry.

Anyway, sometimes the challenges and technical problems encountered doing what I do takes all the fun out of trying to create something. But I really need to get this right because I am in the process of using i-web to host the media site and I am currently in the process of recording the audio version of the 2nd edition of Jehovah Himself Has Become King and I'll be using i-web to display that too.

Aren't you glad you asked about this?

Anyway, I just keep plodding forward, because that's what I am. I'm a plodder.
