Everyone that has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands for the sake of my name will receive many times more and will inherit everlasting life.—Matt. 19:29.

People in Jesus’ day were living under very difficult circumstances. (Matt. 23:2-4) Still, many who heard about Jesus gladly set aside personal pursuits—even careers—and became his followers. (Matt. 4:18-22; 9:9; Col. 4:14) Were those disciples taking a risk and endangering their future? Jesus assured his followers that the heavenly Father knew their needs. He therefore urged them: “Keep on, then, seeking first the kingdom and his righteousness, and all these other things will be added to you.” (Matt. 6:31-33) The same is true today. Jehovah knows our needs. w 10/1/05 4, 5a

John 17 v15-21

"i request you not to take them out of the world but to watch over them because of the wicked one. They are no part of the world just as i am no part of the world

Sanctify them by means of the truth your word is truth. just as you sent me forth into the world, I also sent them forth into the world, and i am sanctifying myself in their behalf, that they also may be sanctified by means of truth

i make request, not concerning these only but also concerning those putting faith in me through their word
in order that they may all be one , just as you Father are in union with me and I am in union with you,
that they also may be in union with us, in order that the world may believe that you sent me forth"

let us who have ears to hear put faith in their word and we will become one flock in order that the world will believe that Jesus is the Son of God.

just to add to those wonderful scriptures that you quoted Barry
