Why, why,why? JAT

While viewing new members profiles, this was JAT's comments. This is not the first time that I have seen this:

Other Information Guidelines and Terms of Service: "No, I skipped over it". Compliance with Guidelines and Terms of Service: "No, I do NOT agree to comply with them".

I have also observed others who have lied and admitted it on another board, with no qualms.

They joined under false pretenses, then were found out by spewing out views that were theories, suppositions, or unsubstantiated scripturally.

Hi James,


I thought I saw that, but I said what in the world, how did that get through.

Ya know James, I visit several other boards at times and it amazes how, people come here and act very loving, etc. and then go to another board either under the same name or another and bash Watchman, and this site as well as the members here.

Some have even said they are gonna join or come over here just to "stir things up". They post one thing here and post totally another thing somehwere else. You all know who you are. :icon_rolleyes:

When they post here I just shake my head. I don't even participate or answer
any of their expressions. It is sickening to say the least.

Some come here with just one motive on their agenda. To disrupt the peace and harmony of the board. To cause division and all other kinds of nosense. It makes no sense whatsover. Some think it is cute, and some are down right evil.

But they don't remain here long if you notice. If I see postings of some THAT I FEEL ARE "GONE WITH THE WIND", THAT IS WHERE I LET THEM STAY OUT THERE WITH THE WIND. THEY FINALLY EXHAUST THEMSELVES WITH THEIR NONSENSICAL RHETORIC AND SOONER OR LATER THEY BLOW AWAY JUST LIKE THEY BLEW IN.

Some want attention and some could be mentally unstable. You can usually tell by
what they spew out. Time will tell. It is upsetting, but just like the crazy stuff going on inside the congregations, it will sooner or later be totally exposed and who and what you are will manifest itself. hmmmmmmmm

Sad, very sad indeed.

AMEN to that..... it is sad to think that these people are actually accomplishing something, when in reality they are only proving to us who they really are. for that they have their day to try to "sway" popular belief, but in the end they will not prevail. i can't think of the right scriptural passage, but i know that people with double tongue (saying one thing while saying something opposite) will not have favor with jehovah or his son. the only thing we can do is keep our eyes open to see these hypocrites and act accordingly, so as to not let their slander get their way with us. the tongue is sharp wether it be written or spoken, our spiritual shielding is the one thing that protects us from them. i often look to the scripture @ Psalms 118:8 in times like this, cause it is true to trust jehovah than to trust man with it's imperfections.

well that's all for me i'm sure i could go on for ever ................

I think we all say things from time to time about K.H stuff and usually that's not malice its because we feel hurt or let down in some way. But these individuals may be from the KH but want to break up our little spiritual haven, or they could be Jealous members of other sites trying to do the same thing, Either way as E&E said they blow in and when they havnt had the response they hoped for, they blow out again:D

well im not blowing away! this place sits right with me,its like a.a. for jehovahs wittnesses,its a blessing to have a place were we can expose our human pains,and express our self without feeling like we are disgraceing jehovah.their are good councilors here to comment,,why oh why ? is their no such thing at the k .h. so many people out their that need to open up,but fear labeling as apostate,or disfellowshiping, we keep all our garbage inside sooner or later it bursts forth in unhealthy displays .and by that time people are half insane,we need to pray to jehovah to expand this much needed ministy,please im feeling much better talking here on the forum and its nice to have an oportunity to see others benefeit from this also

Never looked at it like an AA meeting before, but its a good analogy:)
Pent up feelings and withheld questions is proven to cause psychological and physical illness. I know at least four witnesses who started the truth around the time i did, one hung herself, the other now suffers with manic depression, the other is an alcoholic, another has severe depression. Only one is still holding on. People dont realise the transition of having complete freedom in the world, i was extremely happy before finding the truth, then you come under scrutiny, judgement and you have to transform your whole being, sometimes before your even ready. This can be damaging for some people. I found the truth so I'm glad i survived it, but others wernt so strong. So yes we need more of these on-line forums as walkin clinics, so people can unload there burdens and receive some loving advice based on the scriptures.

amen its time someone took on such a job,and its a tough one i do freqently speak with analogies,so dont think im calling anyone an alchoholic,i have expearianced the exact same thing those 4 you describe did,and i am sorry to have to say this because its another negative, when i became drug adicted i was treated as a siner,when i was in jail i got kind of i told you so and a watchtower ,and when i got out and had nothing but the clothes on my back i got not even 1 meal or 1 old suit of clothes.a christien regeneration program in okechobe fla fed me clothed me and schooled me 4 months in a an intense program that worked gods word from morning to night and gave no brownie points for preaching,there i learned to preach by my deeds, it was there i learned to be a whole person,and it was there i came to trust jehovah for the first time.and it was their i learned that you can not be a christien the very minute you say my way or no way.i could go on forever telling how many real miricles ive wittnessed,and how jesus and jehovah want to be your freind not your disapline dispenser,perhaps i will share in detail some day how i was changed from a jehovahs wittness to a wittness for jehovah! the k.h. is still my meeting place the bible still my roadmap to jesus.what has changed is i have learned how to hear gods answer or see it and i no longer am driven to perform tasks to gain jehovahs favor,well enough for now thank you for your comment

Thank you so much Ari for sharing that part of your personal life with us. No need to say sorry for explaining your real life experiences, i feel honored that you feel comfortable enough to share these things. Its a lonely place to be when you are alone in the world, but the strange thing is its so clear to see when Jehovah is intervening at that moment when you thought all was lost. And even more amazing , is how Jehovah uses those who are not even in the truth to actually come to your aid and rescue you. There's a lot to learn from our lessons and it puts everything into perspective, as to how Jehovah and Christ Jesus want us to be, and that's lovers of our creator and mankind itself. So glad your strength and faith has helped you survive satans snares, but he'll keep trying while we'll keep striving to carrying that heavy torture stake to the very end. And Ari anytime you feel like telling me the rest of your story, I'd be more than happy to hear it. These stories give us strength and encouragement, there's probably hundreds who visit this board, who could be helped by such a positive outcome.

At this stage of my life I have become acquainted with so many JW's and ex-JW's that there is no doubt in my mind that the Watchtower attracts the most spiritually-minded people and then proceeds to corrupt their minds with the ultimate golden calf, and destroy their self-esteem.

Jehovah God is within you. The Christ is within you. It's bad enough that we are blocked off from them by our egos. It's worse when you think you have a ticket into the temple of the True God through some man-made printing corporation. Now we have this gigantic collective ego to deal with too. The Holy Place, the Temple of the True God is within you. You will not find it anywhere else. This is a basic teaching of Jesus. Look within, ask for Jehovah's help from inside you, not up in the sky, and certainly not to the DUMBO section of Brooklyn.
