Well, that just takes the cake. A truly EVIL article. I could probably write a ten page dissertation on the fallacies and leaps in logic employed here, not to mention the bold-faced lies. But, I thought I would touch only on one thing. Ok, maybe two.

Did anyone notice how the article slyly suggests that in order to "follow" Christ we must "go with" the so-called, self-appointed "slave"? First they stated that Christ's brothers are to "follow the Lamb wherever he goes". Then they state that in order for we ourselves (those not of the heavenly calling) to follow, we must "go with" the anointed. And in order to do so, we "MUST ALSO LISTEN" to THEIR voice.

Christ clearly states that we must listen to HIS voice. The Society is flat-out lying! They may have been able to get away with such lies in the Dark Ages when no one had a bible. But they can no longer hide their falsehoods from those who care to read the Scriptures for themselves. More importantly, they can no longer hide them from Jehovah God.

Very sly and very crafty indeed. Whose works are described by such words?


I also found it laughable to suggest that while we humans are not to put OUR trust in "nobles nor in the son of earthling man", The Very Sovereign of the Universe and the Logos place THEIR trust in men. As if Jehovah God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth, was in a position that requires Him to trust anyone. He alone is self-sufficient! It is by His will that we breathe and move and exist! And yet the Society has the audacity to suggest that He is in some way beholden to man or in need of trusting toward men?! How egregious! How self-important! How Jehovah must cringe at the sight of articles that so blatantly attempt to humanize our Grand Creator!

I'll stop there for now. But I for one can't stomach another article like this one.

The thing is to not to be stumbled over this but be even more determined to put our utmost trust and faith in Jehovah God and his provision for salvation through his Son&#39;s ransom sacrifice.

We cannot put our absolute trust in any man or group of men (organization), (religion) on this planet.

All of them are imperfect men.

The Bible even warns us about angels appearing to us with a message contrary to what Jesus preached and what the apostles also preached.

The reality today is that the only information that we can really trust is in God&#39;s Word the Bible, which the Holy spirit operates through.

There are some discrepancies in the scriptures of today because of some Bible translators manipulating or omitting or even adding certain words, but by large Jehovah&#39;s Holy Spirit has made sure that the Bible has come down to us today with the message that he wants to convey to all of mankind.

In my little opinion it seems to me that sooner than later this is gonna become more of an issue to many other b/s than it is now. Of course there are those who still think these types of articles are just so DEEP AND LOVING AND THEY ARE SO GRATEFUL TO RECEIVE SUCH FOOD AT THIS TIME FROM THE SLAVE.

Honestly everyone it makes me so emotional this is very painful to witness. It reminds me of how Satan was all up in Jehovah&#39;s presence and when Jehovah asked him where he came from he had the disgusting nerve to say from roving about in the earth and from walking about in it. (Job 2)

This evil slave has gone beyond Jehovah&#39;s arrangement of things they more or less have just said to Jehovah we are just going to rove wherever we want to and do what we want. We know you said not to put trust in nobles and humans, but that does not mean us, WE ARE SO SPECIAL.

It makes my skin crawl to see how blatant this evil slave/GB ignores what Jehovah has put in place. It always gives me chills when I read how disgusting Satan answered Jehovah.

This is the same thing to me when we don&#39;t obey Jehovah. So when members of his HOUSEHOLD roves about doing what they want and saying Jehovah and Jesus approves to me that is is really disgusting.

They are acting just like the evil one. He got really full of himself and look at where he is gonna end up.

It took me a long time to understand those scriptures, but now that I do it really makes me sick inside.

I understand that Jehovah is a CLEAN GOD. He does not deal in evil filth of any kind period. But he will take care of it.

I truly believe in my heart that these articles are gonna keep coming more frequently, that the conventions/assemblies/special days/ will reveal more talks directed at how we are to look to them, etc. etc. etc..........................and I believe Jehovah is watching all of this and sooner than later we all are gonna have to make a decision.

I was not going to stay for the WT study, but I decided to because I want to see who answers and how. To me that is important as I keep my eyes and ears open.

There are many inside that I love and I know they love me, and there are some who downright give me a very unsettling feeling. Some of those who creep me out don&#39;t seem real, they seem very transparent even when they talk. (My opinion, not judging, just my perception, who knows I may be creeping someone out also.)


My prayers go out to all as we make sure of what we are doing and how we listen to and test the "INSPIRED EXPRESSIONS" 1Jn 4:1-3

I thank Jehovah for you all. I have learned so much from you as you share what you learn from jehovah.

There are some on board who I know Jehovah has used to keep me from going off the deep end. I thank Jehovah for your love and your spiritual discernment. Some can read very well between the lines when we express ourselves. To me that is a gift from Jehovah. Not everyone can do that. Yes, I am glad for your comments and do see you have a very good point. There seem to be many problems, but as you say, we are all imperfect.

I was only trying to state the obvious sarcasm that seems to be with this type of posting. Is there not enough problems that need to be talked about without going into obvious nothingness.\

When I see there is a problem, It is nice to have a place to be able to talk about it, and maybe talk with others about there problems.

Another thing I do is pray to Jehovah to help me understand or deal with the problems I feel.

I believe when the master gave the slaves each some talons, he did not tell them how to grow those interests. That was up to them. All that mattered was that the masters interests grew,

I think they are just doing what is best for the flock here on earth as that is where we all need the help. ( plus I do not think they can send it upwards) In that way, we can all get the help we need.

There are times, say during a hurricane, etc, that all the brothers or sisters houses were no more. The brothers are there very quickly with needed help. They also help others who are not assosiated with JW&#39;s

They can do these things with the rearranging of the earthly assets. As long as the best interests of all is taken care ofm that is what matters. I know things out there are not cheap, and when I here the donations at the local KHm thery seem very low to me. Lile 150.00. I do not think moneys are being throun around wrongly or ending up in individules bank accounts. I also do not think they are buying luxury cars, planes etc.

i say it to all in the "world" and i say it again "keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer". that is what we need to do in the time of the end to sort out what is "good" and what is "bad" in the eyes of ultimately Jehovah.

we see it in the programing on the teley to the things that we read both for pleasure and for spiritual health. from american dad to twilight and so on ...... every time i hear or read something that is questionable my eyebrow goes up so fast that there is a sonic boom that follows.... hehe

soooo many pple out there "claim" that they have the "answers" to all our issues, but it&#39;s ultimately us that has to decide where to go and what path to follow. even things that are said by my bible study teacher, most times i say something and most times i see the light but there are other times that i still go that ain&#39;t right and agree to disagree.

it looks like this issue will not be settled easily, and yes there will be some bruised egos in the process. but in the end we need to prey to jehovah and his son for council, i do every chance i get. i&#39;ve been the "truth" only for about a year, but even i see there are flaws in the "system", all during my past i have felt like there was a tug of war going on with the devil and jehovah and i was the rope. being led to necromancy and to divine hope all at the same time, listening to marilyn manson in the morning and trying to read the bible (king james ver) at nigh while having talks to the heavens in between.

Thanks for the comments. Isn&#39;t it nice that we have a freeness of speech here to voice our opinions.

That is an interesting analogy- movies and the WT study article. I think most people like to discuss a movie they&#39;ve just seen. The scenes they liked the most, the funny parts, sad moments or the action scenes. Most people also say what they didn&#39;t like about the movie and sometimes they will say something like "I hated that part where the..." (fill in the last part).

Now, as regards the wt article, the public talk, the book study, etc. at the KH. When the meeting has ended and you briefly chat with the b/s or you are in your car group, are not all in accord with the &#39;food&#39; from the meeting? Those of us not in total agreement keep silent.

I also thought that first picture was not some subliminal image attacking your subconscious, but was a blatant, in-your-face contradiction. They say a picture is worth a thousand words.

Take, for example, a family preparing for the meeting with a family study. So, the mother says to her 6 year old daughter, "Sasha, that is a picture of Jesus on his throne along with the 144,000." "Remember, we talked about them before?" Sasha replies, "Mommy, I thought you said the 144,000 was men, women, and all different colors?"
Now, how do you explain the difference to a child? And which do you think is more powerful, nameless, faceless people that you are told about or a picture?

Now, for us adults, we&#39;re also given a contradiction from that picture. We just recently discussed here,and for the most part, agreed that beards are either frowned upon or outright banned to be in good standing as a JW. I challenge anyone to find anyone in the picture without a beard. Mixed messages??? You tell me.

It is true that they are frowned on unless there is a disfigurement. I think the reason why it is depicted this way is that in the bible times beards were customary.

Also, If there were no beards on the pictures, some people would probable complain that in Jesus day they could not shave often so customarily wore beards and so this is not a accurate depiction of Jesus.

Yes, as here, beards are frowned upon by many and may scare ones at the door. It is a regional thing though I think. Like here, you cant ware shorts on service, or hats for that matter, but in Africa, shorts and hats are customary and so allowed.

No, What I am saying is there are enough problems to deal with that a picture with people with beards. Is there not better things to point out in the article that could better merit your commenting on rather than every dot out of place in the print.


It seems pretty simple to me, but I guess I&#39;m just a little on the stupid side not to see the merit of these poultry comments. I just think the article should get the main attention.

I think what is oftentimes missed by most of the brothers and sisters is that articles like this are casting a &#39;bad light&#39; on our Father and on the words of our Lord. They employ the same methods as did Satan in Eden. Is it really so that Christ said that HIS sheep would listen to HIS voice? Is it really so that the Psalmist said NOT to put our trust in men? Are you sure Jehovah didn&#39;t really mean to inspire the Psalmist to write that we shouldn&#39;t trust MOST nobles, but that SOME nobles would be ok to trust and follow?

Unfortunately, this &#39;casting a bad light&#39; is Witness-speak for the enlightening power of truth. Christ addressed this with Nicodemus.

"19 Now this is the basis for judgment, that the light has come into the world but men have loved the darkness rather than the light, for their works were wicked. 20For he that practices vile things hates the light and does not come to the light, in order that his works may not be reproved. 21 But he that does what is true comes to the light, in order that his works may be made manifest as having been worked in harmony with God."

Christ was and is that light, and the value of any work that man may do lies in its being harmonious with God&#39;s will, as revealed by the light of Christ and his teachings. If our teachings, or the teachings of the Watchtower do not show themselves to be in harmony with Jehovah then they are of no value, and may prove themselves to be havens for the wicked.

Sorry, I wasn&#39;t trying to cast you in a bad light. I didn&#39;t know Scrappyds&#39; rationale for diss&#39;ing my comment. Being that he has been here only two weeks or so, I didn&#39;t know if he was a watchtower apologist or just maybe having a bad day.

Hey James, I did not mean to put down you, just having a hard time dealing with all the problems I am finding with the WTS.

It is very hard for me to deal with. I am starting to wonder if all my life has been just "fluff". I have always had a firm belief that the WTS was Jehovah&#39;s true representation on earth, but the article on the UN website about the WTS rescinding its membership and the agreement needed to be a member including the following,



In addition, the criteria for NGOs to become associated with DPI include the following:

• operate solely on a not-for-profit basis;
• have a demonstrated interest in United Nations issues and a proven ability to reach large or specialized audiences, such as educators, media representatives, policy makers and the business community;

Also, the latest article that we are talking about seems to me a little less than humble. Together, I wonder if this is really the time the bible talks about or is it something to come at a later point in time.

Then there is the beginnings of the WTS and the way CT Russell ripped his wife off by taking the two tracts of land and giving it to his newly started WTS, in this, not having to give his wife her just rewards. Didnt seem to be the start Jehovah would want to be associated with. A little less than perfect way of going about things.

Then there was the selling of the miracle wheat, woman, etc It sorta shook me by the foundations.

Yes, that was my opinion in a previous post when I wrote,

I must say Thank You for your words of encouragement.


I was getting very confused. There seemed much to wonder when you start haring and listening to everyones comments on them. When you are so sure about something all your life, then others introduce things that are real, like the UN thing but it is opposite to what it should be, it sort of makes you think, as we are supposed to put to the test.

There were many things I never knew, like those scriptures you listed. They were very helpful to me. They answered allot of questions I was mulling over.

There is so much info out there, and so much to try and mislead ones and confuse. Without proper info on a subject, It can be very confusing, and sometimes it is too hard a question to ask.

I always knew Jehovah was true, I was sure the structure was from Jehovah, but, when you see the UN in there, and the things agreed to, then see other things, It shakes a new ones stand.

You have helped me understand a lot better.

You are correct. The bride of Christ have usurped the authority of thier husbandly owner, much like many wives do today with thier very own husbands. Surely, Jesus will and does give them all his love and in time will give them even more responsibility than they have already been given, but they cannot wait for him to grant them that power and authority, so they take it for themselves now (they have already begun ruling as Kings). Lucky for them (did I say Lucky, oh, sorry) he is as loving as his heavenly Father and will forgive them of thier error (at least the ones who show Godly repentance that is) in a very large way, but he will do it with a big dose of loving discipline. I have a feeling that that discipline is very close by. Look out Jesus&#39; wife. For the unrepentant, they will have to learn thier lesson in Gehenna, I think.

Robert King is e-watchman.. It was time for it to be known that it is the House of God, or the Temple of God made up of living stones to be given serious attention.

In searching the scriptures he( Robert ) was able to see that it was NOT Babylon the Great that Jehovah had a dealing with , AND it was NOT Christendom that was the Man of Lawlessness that got into His Temple.

First of all how could Christendom be the Man of Lawlessness ? None there understand the Sacred Secret OF THE CO-RULERS WITH CHRIST., 1Thess 4:13-18,
None there are anointed .
None there profess to be a body member of Christ. They certainly could not have Jehovah&#39;s spirit when they dont even know him.
Those that are the true sons of God long to be with their Father this is their hearts desire.

To help clear up Revelation 2 :9 . Jesus here in inspecting Gods Temple
is speaking of a spiritual Jew, which is also another reference to the sons of God.

I listened very carefully to the b&s comments at the meeting. Someone Commented Proudly " They do not compromise in any way with the world". The pain of betrayal is not something easy to except and is not something to be happy about but more something to mourn over.
