While interesting, there was certainly nothing in the clip that we all haven't heard before. I just think it sad that all these individuals will spend the entire weekend listening attentively to the speakers and not really learn what they really need to know to help them avoid what is about to come upon this earth.

No, we don't know the day or hour, but we can certainly see that things are heating up globally. It will be a shock for these Witnesses to discover that they will not be exempt from the meltdown that is certain to come. They think all the horsemen have already ridden. They are in for a big surprise.

I think that most of the world is in for the same surprise. And I believe the reason is that so very few individuals appreciate what Jesus has been trying to tell us. It's always, "oh, yes, but...." And on they go with their endless excuses why Jesus did not mean what he said. It makes my head spin when I hear it. Just as the Witnesses think they have cornered the market on truth, others do as well. Many here speak of themselves as now having "the truth." And it is true that we have a good understanding of where the JWs went wrong and have revamped our outlook accordingly, but it won't be until spirit is poured out that real truth will be understood. That means that even with our improved understanding of what we should know and do, we probably have a lot to learn and/or to correct about how we understand things. Even now we should not be so rigid that we are not open new understanding. We should be seeing some individuals doing a selfless work of feeding the domestics. They might or might not be JWs, or even former JWs. The more important part is that they are continually following their shepherd and refuse to listen to anyone else. If they aren't doing that, then what truth could they possibly have?

At some point in the not too distant future we may see the outpouring of spirit on those who sincerely follow the Lamb. I don't see how this can happen in any organized setting. It certainly cannot happen within the framework of the WTS. If we are fortunate enough to remain until that knowledge is given, we can then follow the instructions of the 2 witnesses. Until then we need to be vigilant, continually praying for insight and wisdom.

Not the witnesses of the GB who have already begun ruling as Kings, but of Jesus, who really has at this point begun ruling as King.

There seem to be alot more people who believe we're living in the end times, other than JWs - other religions believe this too - new agers think it will be at the end of the Mayan calander 2012 - it could have been a good opportunity to tell people to read their spiritual guidebook - the bible - if they want to know more

The most important thing is that Jehovahs name is known, despite other religions having snipets of the truth, some still believe in the immortal soul and trinity etc, the Newage believe in mass mind consciousness..But at least the JW's are leading them in the right direction, then the rest is down to the individuals own faith and wisdom as many of us have experienced.

All the institionalized religions have some truth mixed with false

immortality appears to be offered only to 144,000 according the wto - whereas other religions may think this prize is offered to all christians

when Jesus was walking on the earth there seemed to be doctinal differences with in the Jewish system as well - the sadducess and pharisees having different takes on life after death - even though Jesus touched on these beliefs because of the religious leaders asking questions to trick Jesus up - He seemed to focus alot on behavior and the developing of the person within in attaining to being more Christlike - which is the aspect that many of the new agers focus on - which i find gives me common ground to have direct them to the bible

the biggest plus the wto has for me is the staying neutral in war and taking life - and staying neutral in politics

as far as the trinity goes - i dont think the people who follow the major religions really understand what that means - it seems to be the main issue that people were persecuted for at the beginning of formalized relgion -

i appreciate we need to research our doctrinal beliefs and keep seeking for truth - but this is also important to do within the wto as well - and persecution is used as a tool by the wto as well if one questions the autority of the church

we allow these big institutions to take over our hearts and minds and hand over our consciences to them - to the point of treating others badly - sort of like what happend under HItlers Germany - the book Animal Farm was a good story in showing how this happens

IMO this will only intensify until bigger badder 1975 theme develops. This is my honest belief that the nut jobs running WTS will convince millions of people that the end is imminent and they may come up with another brilliant date or make people assume a date. As anyone knows me they know that I truly believe that US is in a self destructive motion right now and IMO they've past the point of no return and while they're going down much of the world will go down financially with US due to the fiat currencies that are based on nothing but faith in cental bankers and faith in US dollar as a reserve. If what I think will happen, ther greater depression will be here and that will give people plenty of oppertunity to trust in WTS and I'm guessing that the WTS numbers will swell before they crush. Fear is a great tool for cults and for those without understanding and this tool will be played out IMO by WTS as it has been done before on a smaller scale. I suppose there could be some scare tactics, but while their using these methods honest hearted ones will also be sifted. The thing we have to remember is Jehovah allows it for his purpose to be fulfilled. The man of lawlessness may be at work, but Jehovahs holy spirit is what accomplishes the grand finale and the sifting of the sheep from the goats. :balt06:
