Great study that concern every person.
Very informative study. Job was the target of satan because of his devotion to Jehovah. God said concerning Job: “There is no one like him in the earth, a man blameless and upright, fearing God and turning aside from bad.” (Job 1:8) Through the prophet Ezekiel, God pointed to Job as an example of righteousness. (Eze 14:14, 20) His patient endurance of suffering is set before Christians as a pattern, and his happy outcome is pointed to as magnifying Jehovah’s affection and mercy. (Jas 5:11)
Most Bible readers are familiar with the severe tests that came upon Job. Satan the Devil had asserted that under trying conditions Job would curse God. Jehovah accepted this challenge, and without delay Satan brought calamity upon Job. He lost all his livestock. Worse still, he suffered the loss of all his children in death. Shortly thereafter, Satan struck Job with a malignant boil from head to foot.—Job, chapters 1, 2.
What was the outcome? When his wife urged him to curse God, Job said: “As one of the senseless women speaks, you speak also. Shall we accept merely what is good from the true God and not accept also what is bad?” The Bible record adds: “In all this Job did not sin with his lips.” (Job 2:10)
Job faithfully endured and thus proved the Devil to be a liar. May we similarly endure trials and prove that our service to God is motivated by pure love for Jehovah.—Matthew 22:36-38. Job was a remarkable man of integrity! He had no way of knowing that he was being made the target of Satan’s wicked challenge.
This emphasizes his integrity all the more because even though he believed that all his suffering was from God, still he would not deny God or curse him. What a lesson for us, since we do know the source of the tests of our integrity!
Surely, we should be moved to imitate Job’s example and go forward in Jehovah’s work regardless of anything God’s Adversary can bring against us.
Enjoy it.

The suffering and trials of Job, is one of the most interesting books of the bible. To see a man with such integrity despite losing all his children and suffering something which was worse than smallpox is awesome, especially as he never even knew of the existance of satan. This really should encourage us in the sense that Job knew his father Jehovah so intimately that despite all the torture he knew there must have been a valid reason. Jehovah must have been so good to Job prior to this, that Job relied on him for his every need and not upon his own understanding. Despite no physical manifestation he knew from prayer and his blessed life that Jehovah was real. We too should always remember the times when our prayers have been answered, as this can give us strength to know that Jehovah knows our tolerance level and wont let us suffer more than we can bare, and sometimes it can be harsh and its not answered straight away but our love and faith like Job should help us to endure what ever trial is put before us.
