For those of you who regularly visit the DB, you are only too aware of some of the ongoing quirks and bugs that have been tolerated for an extended period of time.
We have been (im)patiently waiting for the release of a new version of the board software which would address these issues, and the software developers have recently done so. However, as with any software, and even though they went through a testing process, there are some significant problems with the new software that they are working to address and hope to have corrected soon.
Once we are confident that the software will correct more problems than it will generate, we will be installing and upgrading the DB. This will inevitably lead to a period of unavailability, but we will keep everyone informed as to when it will take place, with enough notice so as to not take anyone by surprise.
