Come, you people, and do let us return to Jehovah, for he himself has torn in pieces but he will heal us.—Hos. 6:1.

Did the people of the ten-tribe kingdom of Israel in general return to Jehovah, manifesting genuine repentance? The answer is no. Jehovah says through Hosea: “What shall I do to you, O Ephraim? What shall I do to you, O Judah, when the loving-kindness of you people is like the morning clouds and like the dew that early goes away?” (Hos. 6:4) What a testimony to the deplorable spiritual condition of God’s people! Loving-kindness, or loyal love, had almost disappeared—like the morning mist that quickly vanishes with the rising of the sun. Although the people apparently pretended to repent, Jehovah found no basis for extending mercy. What was the problem? Israel’s repentance was not truly from the heart. (Hos. 7:14, 16) The people were not willing to make the changes that were needed to restore their relationship with Jehovah. w 11/15/05 5-7a

May we always be humble enough to make HEARTFELT changes when necessary, especially if our relationship with Jehovah is not as it should be.

Phil. 4:7

and the peace of God that excels all thought will GUARD YOUR HEARTS and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus.

Proverbs 4:23

More than all else SAFEGUARD YOUR HEART for out of it are the sources of life.

JEREMIAH 17:9

The HEART IS MORE TREACHEROUS than anything else and is desperate. Who can know it?

A genuine relationship with Jehovah is available to anyone, and we do have a direct line to him, as long as we approach him in Jesus name.

And it is NOT the ORGANIZATION, there's no middleman required. To all JW's:

Isaiah 29:13 And Jehovah says: "For the reason that this people have come near with their mouth, and they have

glorified me merely with their lips, and they have removed their heart itself far away from me, and their fear toward

me becomes men’s commandment that is being taught, 14 therefore here I am, the One that will act wonderfully

again with this people, in a wonderful manner and with something wonderful; and the wisdom of their wise men must

perish, and the very understanding of their discreet men will conceal itself."

Notice the words: "becomes men's commandment", and "will act wonderfully again". When did those things ever happen with Christendom? Didn't they lay down the tradition from the beginning? When did it go from God's commandment to theirs? And why would 1600 years ago matter anyway?
When did their wise men ever have widsom, and when did their "discreet" men ever have understanding?
