Stand firm against the machinations of the Devil.—Eph. 6:11.

When we think of Satan’s devices, such things as materialism and immorality might immediately come to mind and rightly so. However, we should not overlook another crafty act of Satan—his effort to convince people that they are unloved by Jehovah God. The Devil is skilled at exploiting such feelings in his attempt to turn people away from God. Recall Bildad’s words to Job: “How can mortal man be in the right before God, or how can one born of a woman be clean? Look! There is even the moon, and it is not bright; and the stars themselves have not proved clean in his eyes. How much less so mortal man, who is a maggot, and a son of man, who is a worm!” (Job 25:4-6; John 8:44) Can you imagine how demoralizing those words must have been? So be aware of Satan’s designs so that you will have the courage and stamina to fight all the harder to do what is right.—2 Cor. 2:11. w 8/1/05 16, 17a

I agree with today's text. The evil one loves to make people feel unworthy and not loved by Jehovah. Some people feel so bad at times they take their lives and this is unfortunate (for lack of a better word).

One of the other ways I find that Satan uses to deceive people is to allow them to think they are pure, clean and in total good standing and worshipping Jehovah in a way that he approves.

But it seems to me that we were left information about who is and who is not approved by Jehovah. One place is in MATTHEW CHAPTER 7 VERSES 21-29.

My prayer is that we stay focused on what Jehovah's voice says of us and Jehovah's love for us now and in the future. If we can do this and continue to HOLD ON TIGHT and TRUST IN JEHOVAH WITH OUR WHOLE HEART, we can never go wrong.

The second we lose focus and look away and let go of Jehovah, THUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that's the second we fall. It is just like being in a car and we look away for a second, that second could cost us our lives.

Let us be careful and take it slow as we drive through the many deceptive twisted and turning roads not being able to see cleary all things coming at the moment. May we wait for OUR LOVING FATHER JEHOVAH, the DIRECTOR OF OUR SPIRITUALITY TO LET US KNOW WHAT ROAD TO TRAVEL WHEN AND HOW FAST OR SLOW TO GO.

We do not want to move TOOOOOO FAST OR TOO SLOW ON OUR OWN AND CRASH INTO A (DEAD END).

Sisterly Love,

2PETER 2:9

Jehovah knows how to deliver people of godly devotion out of trial, but to reserve unrightous people for the day of judgment to be cut off.
