Here is a quote from the Revelation Book, that I find quite interesting, in light of the Society's 10-year long affair with the United Nations. Let's hear what you all think.
"Now the third angel speaks. Listen! “And another angel, a third, followed them, saying in a loud voice: ‘If anyone worships the wild beast and its image, and receives a mark on his forehead or upon his hand, he will also drink of the wine of the anger of God that is poured out undiluted into the cup of his wrath.’” (Revelation 14:9, 10a) At Revelation 13:16, 17, it was revealed that during the Lord’s day those who do not worship the image of the wild beast would suffer—even be killed. Now we learn that Jehovah has determined to bring to judgment those “having the mark, the name of the wild beast or the number of its name.” They will be forced to drink a bitter ‘cup of wrath’ of Jehovah’s anger. What will this mean for them? In 607 B.C.E., when Jehovah forced Jerusalem to drink “his cup of rage,” the city experienced “despoiling and breakdown, and hunger and sword” at the hands of the Babylonians. (Isaiah 51:17, 19) Similarly, when idolizers of earth’s political powers and their image, the United Nations, get to drink the cup of Jehovah’s wrath, the result will be a calamity for them. (Jeremiah 25:17, 32, 33) They will be utterly destroyed." - Revelation - Its Grand Climax At Hand! Chapter 30, pages 209, 210, paragraph 13
Check the phrasing in the last two sentences. "Idolizers of...the United Nations...will be utterly destroyed." Pretty harsh judgment. And the Society has sealed its own fate. Unless a 10-year membership doesn't eaquate to idolatry.

And thus the "Flying Scroll", (Zechariah 5:1-8) 5 Then I raised my eyes again and saw; and, look! a flying scroll. 2 So he said to me: “What are you seeing?” In turn I said: “I am seeing a flying scroll, the length of which is twenty cubits, and the breadth of which is ten cubits.” 3 Then he said to me: “This is the curse that is going forth over the surface of all the earth, because everyone that is stealing, according to it on this side, has gone free of punishment; and everyone making a sworn oath, according to it on that side, has gone free of punishment. 4 ‘I have caused it to go forth,’ is the utterance of Jehovah of armies, ‘and it must enter into the house of the thief and into the house of the one making a sworn oath in my name falsely; and it must lodge in the midst of his house and exterminate it and its timbers and its stones.’” 5 Then the angel who was speaking with me went forth and said to me: “Raise your eyes, please, and see what this is that is going forth.” 6 So I said: “What is it?” In turn he said: “This is the e′phah measure that is going forth.” And he went on to say: “This is their aspect in all the earth.” 7 And, look! the circular lid of lead was lifted up; and this is a certain woman sitting in the midst of the e′phah. 8 So he said: “This is Wickedness.” And he proceeded to throw her [back] into the midst of the e′phah, after which he threw the lead weight upon its mouth.

Interesting Scripture quotation, FM. I am wondering what application you would make of that passage. I look forward to your thoughts.

Hi SlaveForJah, believe or not up and until about 2 years ago I was not really aware of this scripture.
I mean I have read it before this, but did not think of it as any relevance to us today.
In fact I do not think that there is much on this subject in the Society's literature of late.
I was actually shown this scripture by a Bible student who was standing next to the entrance of a shopping center mall.
He asked me whether he could show me a scripture from the Bible and I said yeah okay, why not.
What he showed me was this scripture in Zechariah 5 that mentioned about the "flying scroll".
After that it got me thinking for a long time what it actually meant for all earth and particularly those who claim to be Christians.
What I realized was first of all it was both an "inspection" and a "judgment" as a result of the inspection that was to go through all the earth and particularly those who claim to be Christians.
Obviously what is contained in this scroll is the basis for this inspection and judgment.
A thought has occurred to me that it could not only be God's word, because it also contains a curse for those where the scroll lodges.
The thing that has immediately come to mind is the "Internet" which I believed is a highway that is used both by Satan to corrupt and mislead human Society, and by God to reveal to people what is the real Truth.
It does indeed act like a flying scroll.
In fact the Internet is a two edge sword for Satan, as he tries to use it to create misleading false information but also it reveals corruption in all the areas of Human society and life.
(1) it exposes corruption in the political area.
(2) It exposes fraud and extortion in corporations.
(3) it exposes false beliefs and wrongdoings in all religions, including those who call themselves Witnesses for Jehovah.
Now it is my belief that the Internet is part of the flying scroll as it is one of the devices that can travel all around the world with all God's word on it in every language and Translations.
It is truly a unique source of information that is at your finger tips in only a few minutes.
But like I said it is a two edge sword, if not used correctly, it can also give us misleading information as well as corrupt us.
But it truly has become a curse upon all those who call themselves Christians as it exposes all wrongdoings and falsehoods and it has the power to destroy whole religions because of it.
The organization of Jehovah's Witnesses is finding out now how much of a threat it really is to its setup and foundation.
It's members have access to all the dirty laundry, the untruths, the cover-ups and of all the goings on in the organization.
Just how I see it from my own perspective, from FutureMan.

!at your finger tips in only a few minutes!
In a few seconds with the proper connection:D
Very interesting connection FutureMan -
I to am convinced the Internet has special purpose and incredible capabilities for both good and bad.
I could only imagine what the heavenly celestial Internet accomplishes Between Jehovah and his myriads of angels:mellow: I suppose the speed of thought would pale in comparison.
