first im no apostate! my entire childhood was a liveing nightmare of physical, mental and sexual abuses from baptised people,that regularly went to the hall.their does without fail need to be a serious cleansing within jehovahs witnesses,children must not be told to keep silent and not bring reproach on jehovah! it is our duty to be the highest standard of pure worship in everything !i am now 49 and its very hard not to blame jehovahs wittnesses or jehovah even though i know in my heart that jehovah is the 1 true god,i hope this message helps to expose whats bad,because it needs to go.

Just because you express your feelings doesn't make you an apostate, I'm surprised you still sound balanced and hasn't let it effect your love for Jehovah.

My heart goes out to you..and you are allowed to be upset and say it wasnt right..IT WASNT ! It was a crime against your heart ! I dont know how you will take this,but there are many here,who if we had of known,would have come to your rescue some how. We would have tried our best to help you. I guess Im saying this because there are many who are outraged by this and will come to the defence of the innocent if we can ! You can say whatever you like and it will be taken in the spirit it is given.

hello arimatthewdavies, and welcome to this forum.

The only ones who will view you and any of us as an apostate is the Watchtower Society themselves as I'm sure that they are scrutinizing these sites.

Satan has got complete control of this system of things which includes the governments the commercial system and all organized religions and including I'm afraid, the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses, that is why there is so much confusion and problems there.
But still the truth is coming forth despite Satan's efforts.

There are so many horror stories of children being abused in the organization, and when they speak up they are silenced. All of the people who think they are getting away with their crimes will have to answer to Jesus. Jehovah and Jesus will undo all the badness that we have experienced.

Speaking up is an honorable thing to do. Silencing the victims is a dishonorable thing to do. So, for all those in a position of authority who have ever silenced a victim, one day they will have to account for their actions.

Imagine what the earth will be like when Jesus gives us his tender loving care and heals all the wounds we have, mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical. Jehovah will give him the power to right all wrongs and give us happiness beyond our wildest dreams.

You're an inspiration, your faith in Jehovah and Jesus is contagious. Keep your faith and trust strong in our heavenly Father and his Son!

Hello Matthew. Welcome to the forum. It takes a lot of courage to speak out about the ugly side of the organization. And it takes faith to go forward and not blame Jehovah for the evils we might suffer, even as you well know. Thanks for sharing.

Hello arimatthewdavies, thank you for your courage in sharing your experience with us. Its faith strengthening to hear how you have stood by Jehovah in spite of all you have had to endure, but it is true, Jehovah will not let us go beyond what we can bear, and he obviously has been with you.

You are among b/s here that understand and no way would we consider you to be apostate, sadly the society has let victims down and labeled those that speak out for justice and mercy, help from these issues, they are met with the scourge. Jehovah will make everything right in his time, we have such a wonderful future ahead of us, welcome to the board.:)

thanks for posting panda! im glad to see jehovahs people are growing past their fear of ofending big brother and made the choice to remove wickedness more openly in my day children were discouraged in round about methods and i have seen with my own eyes the result of yesterdays children who are now grow,how they continue the sickness to their own kids, their is so little we ourselves can do for those kids because we likley will never know who they are.however what we can do is all of us pray to jehovah! he will intervene in his wise way or show us how we ourselves can help. meanwhile let us encourage all who can to expose the wickedness not hide it in fear or shame. we need to let it be know that if your a abuser in our kingdom hall you will be caught,disfellowshiped,and legaly prosecuted,

Here is a youtube video where Anne Frank's father is interviewed and, when I heard what he said about his daughter's "deep thoughts", I thought at once about all the young children who have suffered from the evil deeds committed among God's organization. They might look or sound childish or insignificant to some stupid and boorish elders but they are much more than just mindless kids.... even more in God's eyes! Your childhood sounds like it was a long and painful experience. It's wonderful to hear that you have such mercy for those who abused you. It is what Jesus would have wanted even though our natural reaction is to retaliate. That doesn't mean that such individuals should not be exposed and even prosecuted, of course, since left alone they may just move on to abuse others. And that would serve no one well. Sometimes these people need to face the music before they realize it's wrong. Other times even that doesn't deter them. If they can't control themselves, then they should at least be exposed so others can protect themselves.

One of the the worst parts of abuse in the organization is the mandate for silence. If there is noone to witness the crime, then it is regarded as one person's word against anothers and to make the claim of abuse is then regarded as slander. There is hardly ever a witness to sexual abuse, so making a case against the villain is difficult. When you were young teachers, law enforcement and others in responsible positions were not expected to be aware of cases of abuse. Today it is so different. I'm sorry that responsible people were not able to be there for you when you needed them.

Today there is no reason to consider the elders qualified to handle such a matter. Sexual abuse is a crime and therefore the matter should be taken to the police to handle. Can you imagine someone shooting someone to death and calling the elders to handle the case. That would be absurd. Likewise, the case of sexual abuse.

Be assured that your pain is felt, but your confidence in our heavenly Father can also be felt as well. He is our tower of strengh when we are oppressed.

ok ive finished the hard moveing stuff,and have more time now. ive just learned of a common sexual abuse that dosent involve sex. many homes have a younger male children and sibling sisters ,it is a common child hood game to dress up little brother in girl cothes and make him a pretend sister,no malice or harm is intended.but i just found out that what happens between ages 2-6 stays with you for life hey moms/ dads make sure your kids dont play role reversal early on..their will likley be a repeat latter in life. i was actully quite suprised to read this in the pshycopathologies book,it just makes one wonder,what is going to happen to kids who play video games ,watch cartoons ,etc latter on.

First off, I am so happy you are here! Second off, I'm so sorry about your childhood!
It's so very commendable that you know the difference between Jehovah and the watchtower.
I blamed Jehovah and the WT as one entity for many years for all of my physical abuses by so-called 'brothers' in the Organization. I never lost faith in Jehovah, I was just mad at Him for His organization.
It's hard to come out with this kind of information! You are very courageous for doing so. It helps expose them and helps you begin to heal.

thanks for your comments i do not fear exposeing the evils of the past maybe somebody will benefeit here and now my object is #1 pointing out dirt on jehovahs floor so it can get cleaned up.their is definatly a big differance between jehovahs rule and big brothers way of doleing out what he pleases, we can be on the alert without rebelion! perhaps more people will voice their greivances in a constructive manner,its hard to preach against sinfull things and invite people to your hall if you know evils going on.

Well there ya go...that is the problem.

You can voice your grievances in any form, whether it's constructive or not, it will be viewed as 'going against Jehovah's organization'. You can and will be viewed under the apostate light. Even if you're right.

Exposing those 'evils' is a very courageous thing to do because you can or will become a victim all over again. If you can handle that, emotionally, physically and spiritually, then great! Some people can't. They fear losing their family, friends and life all together, it's more than they can bare.

It's pretty complicated...just like you say...how CAN you invite someone into an organization that covers these things up? How CAN you do all of this in good conscience?? How CAN you teach someone something that you KNOW is false?
It's a boat that many of us are in...is it fair to not warn people? Would that be standing up for the truth?
We can draw much comfort from the one's we want to imitate...All of those before us who, even in the face of death (Spiritual, according to the org. or physical), stood up for the truth. They are truly Jehovah's children! Dating all the wayyyyy back to the beginning. You can find all of those examples in the bible. Noah, ridiculed for what he KNEW was right....but going forward anyways...etc..Jesus and his apostles...ridiculed for what they KNEW was the truth...etc..(I know I am missing a ton there...BUT, you know what I mean?)

However, I believe Jehovah puts people in positions that play to their strengths...some 'speaking out'.
That, of course, is just my opinion.

Either way...I'm still glad you're here and I hope you can bring comfort to those who've been in your shoes or know someone that has. Your objectives are pure..continue! **hugs**
