under the subheading:

Love Motivated Jesus to Preach Boldly

Par 9 ...."Jesus did not water down what God wanted people to know. He fearlessly exposed the powerful religious leaders for their self-righteousness as well as for their false tachings. Those men stood condemned and Jesus told them so in words both direct and unmistakable. On one accasion he said: Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites/ because you resemble whiteashed graves, which outwardly indeed appear beautiful but inside are full of dead men's bones and of every sort of uncleanness. In that way you also, outwardly indeed, appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness - Matt.23:27,28"

Jesus loved the common people and condemned the religious leaders for not loving the people and caring for them as skinned and hurting - even though the religious leaders had a love for God and knew the scriptures well... i think is a good lesson for the religious leaders of today to ponder over - do they really care for the stuggles and pressures of the common sheep - do they search out for those stuggling and needing loveing attention - i dont see much of that happening in the congregations -it reminds me of a scripture that says if you say you love God but hate your brother then you really dont love God

and if one sees some of the wt teachings as being false (not scriptual) and boldly expresses ones concerns then that sheep is thrown out to the wolves

the early disciples were eyewitnesses to many miracles and manifestations of the holy spirit - that would have defineatly bolsterded their boldness - they were at times encouraged by angels - not that we cant ask for holy spirit today to help us - but the situtation was alot different back then

there wasnt anything mentioned about informal witnessing - which i thought produced better results in reaching people then door to door
