Question about Babylon the Great

Hi everyone.


I was looking in the back of my "What does the bible really Teach?" book and I read about Babylon the great. Now I think I remember back when I was studying around 95-97 that babylon the great was the United Nations (i believe i learned this in the Red Revelation book study), at least that was what I understood. Now reading about it in the back of the teach book, it is saying all other religions are babylon the great. Am I confused about the UN and babylon the great?

Yup, you're confused.

Jehovah's Witnesses believe that Babylon the Great is the world empire of false religion. In other words, BtG is all religions except for JWs.

The wild beast of Revelation with 7 heads and 10 horns is all the governments of the world as a group. The image of that same beast is the United Nations.

That's the JW angle on things. Most here probably agree with it to at least some extent.
