Enoch kept walking with the true God.—Gen. 5:24.

Like Enoch, we want to please Jehovah during the turbulent times that exist today. Thus, we do well to follow Enoch’s example. We need to gain and retain accurate knowledge of Jehovah and his purpose. But we need more. We need to allow that accurate knowledge to direct our course. (Ps. 119:101; 2 Pet. 1:19) We need to be guided by God’s thinking, always striving to please him with our every thought and action. We have no record of who else in Enoch’s time was serving Jehovah, but clearly he was either alone or part of a small minority. We too are a minority in the world, but that does not dismay us. Jehovah will support us no matter who may be against us. (Rom. 8:31) Enoch courageously warned about the coming destruction of ungodly men. We too are courageous as we preach “this good news of the kingdom” despite mockery, opposition, and persecution.—Matt. 24:14. w 9/1/05 15, 16

I pray we all have a Safe Sunday.

Today's text is very helpful. As I was reading I thought of our discussion on how to stay positive.

The main points for me were to PLEASE JEHOVAH DURING THESE TURBULENT TIMES. And turbulent is an understatement. We are always amazed at what goes on in the world, but we usually adjust right away.

However, we tend to become a tad shocked at the turbulent times amongst Jehovah's people. The goings on inside sort of catch us off guard and it is hard for us to adjust. Some of us can and some of us have a hard time. I know I had a difficult time and I am still dealing with the INSIDE STUFF GOING ON.

Because of the turbulence inside It is also difficult after we gain this knowledge to just be still and be quiet (to say the least) But this text has helped me to see I need to continue to be guided by God's thinkking and as was stated always strive to please Jehovah with my thoughts and actions.

Today's text helped me to look at things more the way Jehovah does and in so doing it will help E & E to strive to be more positive and HOLD ON TIGHT TO JEHOVAH AND NOT HUMANS. It is Jehovah we are to serve and worship, not the organization or society of men he uses/used to help us to get to know him.

I pray as we get deeper and deeper into the end of this system of things our focus will be more on what Jehovah wants. I think I will work on turning the negatives into positives by saying Hmmmmmmmmm all this CRAZY STUFF MEANS JEHOVAH IS GONNA INTERVENE REAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLL SOON. KEEP HOLDING ON E & E AND DON'T LET GO NOW. IT AIN'T EASY, BUT YOU CAN DO IT WITH JEHOVAH'S HELP.

So that is my prayer for all of us.

STAY POSITIVE (as much as we can)

TRY NOT TO BE NEGATIVE (this is hard)

and as the saying goes (DON'T MESS WITH MR. IN-BETWEEN)

IT AIN'T EASY BUT WE CAN DO IT.

Okay I'm going to log off now because Watchman said

DON'T SPEND SO MUCH TIME ON THE CONFOUNDED COMPUTER :ban_dance02:  :186: (LAUGHING LIKE CRAZY)

YOU COMPUTER ADDICTS YOU.

Love to you all

I think this scripture is really comforting because it reminds us there is a true God, and even though there are organizational problems, Jehovah is always true, no matter what.

What else is there in this world? If we don't continue to cultivate a relationship with Jehovah, what else is there? Nothing of value, that's for sure.

E&E, I like your outlook. You're really good at keeping things positive!
