That&#39;s a good one Olm. The only explanation I could find on it is from the Insight book, under "Heaven":

Actually I was only quoting the Watchtower&#39;s own interpretation of it, it certainly isn&#39;t my own insight.

Paul was relating a vision that he had, undoubtedly due to Holy Spirit. He was equating heaven with Paradise, which in essence was the Garden of Eden, which is how the translation could also read, according to the Watchtower&#39;s reference notes.

The way I understand it, the "Third Heaven" is that spiritual place up above the immediate "heavens" of the earth&#39;s atmosphere.

I guess the best way to describe it is that Paul was being given a foregleam of "spiritual paradise".
