I was just thinking this morning about "Sin". I know that we all sin because we all came from Adam. So like a cake pan, we all have our dents. But I was thinking... Do some have more severe dents than others? Are some of us more prone to sin while others are not? and if thats the case then it would also stand to reason on the same token that there are many others who are more ...Perfect than others...more prone to righteousness. This is another aspect that I view to be unfair and why I view judging in such a negetive way. Some of us are simply more defective which means we suffer more and dont have as strong of a grip when it comes to "HOLDING ON TIGHT" do to a ...weak grip. Not using this as an excuse whatsoever but my point simply is this battle that we ALL have to endure everyday is so unlevel in so many different ways. Th eplaying field is all jacked up. Reminds me of my kids with their playstation. They both have game sticks. While one is in great condition the other frequently gets stuck. when my boy wants to go right, his guy either freezes and staysin one location or go the opposite way completly. So my Son with the "better" stick has an unfair advantage. How frustrating! Some of us obveously have a better gaming stick for this game than others. :icon_neutral:

some also have a bigger beat stick to beat their fellowman down to make it harder for them to survive.

Isnt that the truth! Why does it has to be that way? I mean I could understand if we were all defective to the same degree but thats simply not the case is it. My boys has this racing game that they love to play. Now they both fight over the better stick but whoever gets the one thats jacked up really has no motivation to even get excited. the race car game they have gives you a course that must be finnished in a limited amount of time. well....this race course has sharp turnes and such. well....you cant turn!!! THE CLOCK IS TICKING AND YOU CANT TURN!! :38786-6: My oldest son tends to get the better stick because well...hes the oldest. But im thinking about just having him play with the one thats not so good for a while :spamafote:

Some people have a hard time cause they let things make them have a hard time. I know cause I do it to myself all the time. I wonder how some people can do better then me. I let things in my life get to me. So in essence I always give myself the gimp joystick. Some people can deal with things alot better. Some people do not have the inclinations that others have. It doesn't make them any better then me. if I didn't allow certain things in my life I would be better off, but my sinful inclinations won't allow me to stop. Being a sinner is a no-win situation. You may finish the race, but if it is at the cost of someone else losing out then what have you accomplished. i have seen some of these ones who seem to have it good and are doing well lord it over others. I have seen some that are humble towards others.
Lets use field service along with your game stick illustration. What good is it for a pioneer to continue doing well out in service and going out all the time (using their good game stick) if they don't help others who don't go out in service all the time because they can't or things get in the way ie imperfections (their broken game stick). They are doing what Christ wanted them to, but if they don't help others what use is it? So if your eldest son continuosly uses the good gamestick and continuosly wins what fun is it for your youngest son to continually lose? How discouraging is that?

Some people do not have the inclinations that others have[/b].
Thats my point. Some people's worst inclination is having a bad attitude. Man I wish I had it that easy! While others struggle disperately with the flesh. The extreams can be just that EXTREAM. No wonder why some of us sink into depression.

Is it a question of nature verses nurture. If one was abuses as a child, kicked from pillar to post, in and out of care and exposed to drug abusers and alcoholics what kind of a life would they lead? Fighting to do the right thing would be hard but not out of the realms of possibility. Some of the issues we have who were brought up in the 2.4 family household have our own set of problems and sinful tendencies to calibrate. Sin even though is automatic and seen at times to have a mind of its own can be brought under control to a certain degree at least, otherwise "if we practice sin wilfully after having received the accurate knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left". It seem to me that as long as we fight sin Jehovah truly appreciative our efforts and recognizes how hard we are fighting regardless of our past and varying tendencies towards doing wrong. Of course in the new system doing the right thing will be the natural tendency.

Thats why the notion of Hell is so ridiculous, one boy is raised by a poor family with no Christian influence whose only source of food is what is stolen.
That same boy is raised by a wealthy circuit overseer, marries the most beautifull sister in the circuit and can pioneer all his life.
Which version of the same boy is more likely to sin?
Thankfully we have a God with a face of Justice who sees and knows all and will take all things into consideration.
Jesus came to call sinners to repentance for the righteous have little need of it.
Perhaps this is one of the failings of the society who think that if they, with thier 3 generations of Jehovah Witness-hood, married to Miss Gorgeous at 18, with a lifetime of clean peer-pressure can behave perfectly so easily, then the abandoned, beaten, in care, fatherless boy who cannot ever comprehend anybody loving him, who finds solice in fornication, drugs and rock and roll should be equally as perfect in thought and deed when they try to change thier personality upon finding God.
Some of us are a bit to damaged by previous exposure to this world, we will have to put more trust and appretiation in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ than will those who can so easily cure themselves.

If you remember the giving of the coins, various amounts were given...even just one! Jesus was trying to help us understand that it's what we do with what we have that is important. We will all be judged individually, fortunately. Mk. 12:41 And he sat down with the treasury chests in view and began observing how the crowd was dropping money into the treasury chests; and many rich people were dropping in many coins. 42 Now a poor widow came and dropped in two small coins, which have very little value. 43 So he called his disciples to him and said to them: “Truly I say to YOU that this poor widow dropped in more than all those dropping money into the treasury chests; 44 for they all dropped in out of their surplus, but she, out of her want, dropped in all of what she had, her whole living.”
Do the best you can, and do it with love...

Paul explained what sin is to a person who knows Gods laws
"for the good that i wish to i do not do, but the bad that i do not wish is what i practice.
if now if what i do not wish is what i do, the one working it out is no longer i, but the sin dwelling in me.(romans 7:19, 20)
he then talks of a war waging with his mind against his body
then he concludes
v 24 " miserable man that i am! who will rescue me from this body undergoing this death?
v25 " thanks to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! ...................."
thanks be to God for the ransom!
and thanks be to Jesus for being that ransom and purchasing the annointed
just my thoughts
