It is not exactly the lion laying down with the lamb, but it is close. Cheetahs and baby impala (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1246886/Pictured-Three-cheetahs-spare-tiny-antelopes-life--play-instead.html)

What amazing pictures, and look how beautiful they all are, you just want to go up and cuddle them.
These pictures give us an idea of how the paradise will be, even without them having full bellies:p

Yes.

This happened somewhere else and the local spear-chucker natives said it was some kind of a sign of the approach of the end of the world.

I tried to relate this to an elder a while back.

I got as far as........... "There are these tribes people in Africa living a simple life and they..........."

(Interuption)

".......Ah they appear to be simple but are they really ? Whilst they may live a more rural existance thier spiritual practices are no different from blah blah [x2 repeat to end].."

"Uhh Okay"

You guys don’t really think Incisor teeth and pointed claws are for eating straw do you?

The animals are going to be animals regardless of paradisiacal conditions. It’s the people that are going to be transformed into what was intended. The animals may be out of wicky whack due to the fear Jehovah instilled in them of man, and as history played out with good reason.
I would say the Isaiah prophecy is definitely figurative.

What do you guy's think?

Ahh, Jinn,
Just for your information, that reference to the handling of a certain weapon, is considered to be a slur in the United States. If you were that say that in the "inner city", you might get one in the chest.

Dear TS,

I agree with you ! Death, preys and predators existed way before Adam sinned: => T.rex ! Life and death in the animal world is what enables the subtle equilibrium that man is disturbing because of his greed and disrespect for life.

Frankly, it'd be quite weird to see a shark grazing seaweed*... and spider webs being used for catching falling leaves only, during the automn (argh!!! 9 months of fast during the other seasons...) :p ;).

*JD, any possibility of making raw cheese if we manage to milk Ma'am or Miss shark ?? :D

It would be such a waste of highly developed teeth, incredible agility coupled with power and stealth.
Trust me Shikinah I have entertained that hope all my life, but it just does not seam to me as we understand animal anatomy and behavior that it is not in the cards.

Here is an example watch this Utube video and tell me what Animals are all about.
Its very funny!!

Now with that said I wonder if being the violent degenerates we are, we just don’t get it yet. We see what we perceive as violence when lions take down a mother hippo and her calf in a long drawn out gory death and feeding. We reason how violent but is it really?
I think as we grow to perfection we will better grasp Jehovah’s infinite wisdom and understand.

I seem to do that.

I was eating some food the other day that I had gone out and brought.

I was using the bag I bought the food in to put my leftovers in and packging ect. I call that the scumbag.

So I said to my friend.

"Pass me that Scumbag".

Indeed.

Actually I was using spear chucker to denote the fact that the natives I was talking about were actually that kind of native african. The kind that actually hunt with and carry spears as being different from a 'Native New Yorker' who might give me one in the chest.

Obviously there are many people who could be said to be 'natives of Africa' who work in offices ect.

Yes. I am black folk at least on one side. I did participate in the Javelin in School as a track & Field athletics event. I could probably throw a spear.

I threw a shoe in a hornets nest.

Thats definately a valid pursuit of inquiry.

What you gotta keep in mind here is that these African tribesmen were not bible students. They didn`t see this behaviour in the animals and relate that to passages in the bible.

They saw something which they consider imposible in nature which is animals acting completely against thier instincts and drew thier own conclusion from it. As being an omen ect.
