Strange Dreams

I dont know if any of you can remember the week, when ArimathewDavis, Robert and myself had strange dreams all within days of each other. Well I had an amazing chat tonight with a sister, who related what i had dreamt some months ago. She said that the Watchtower society had been aproached by the UN to buy their premises, and as a joke she said, "that would be the disgusting thing standing in the holy place. At that point I said to her "i dreamt the same thing months ago" but she said "thats impossible Jehovah wouldnt reveal that to you." I dont know if what she told us was entirely true, i'd be interested to find out if anyone else has heard about this.

I am not sure what dream of mine you are referring to, but I don't read anything much into dreams. To me dreams are about as relevant as a movie, which is to say they are for entertainment purposes only. So, we all have seen the same movie, right?

Trust me Robert I dont usually read into dreams either, as I hardly sleep to have any dreams lol.. but I remember yours being something to do with Jehovah laughing at you, why I cant remember.. but if you had dreamt something so outragious as I did and then have a sister repeat what you had seen without you mentioning it, it would be difficult to see it as just mere entertainment..

Hmmm, I was thinking the WTS wanted out of New York.
Maybe it just means the UN is moving, into the White House?
Dreams are tricky, as Robert said.
Israel was warned about the supposed dreams of the false prophets,
which seemed designed to turn people away from following God, to other gods.

Sorry. I was not implying dreams could not be inspired.
Only that dreams occur when we are not entirely conscious,
so they can even come from powerful sub conscious intellect,
which is very capable of producing all kinds of amazing results.
So even I must question my own dreams,
and I have not yet reported any here, for that reason.
But I have reported what happened while I was entirely awake.
Looking in the Bible, it seems waking visions are more often
provided to those who already have great faith.
Though this is not a solid rule.

Thats an interesting concept, I guess we have enough to deal with trying to understand who's the eight King let alone dreams:D

My wife told me the other day that in her dream she had a shepherding call from an elder and his wife, to get her to come back to the meetings.
This was a real concern to her, as she does not want to go back, not the way things are now in the organization in any case.
She was worried that this might happen, but at this stage not one witness has knocked on our door, not for the last 1 year almost.

I be very surprised if they did come around as I do not think that they want to communicate with me.

I'm probably on the do not call list, as a danger to the congregation or something:rolleyes:

That dream is probably her inner fears, how sad that we should be made to have these feelings.
One year is a long time, do you live out in the sticks?:D
Despite what your situation is with the org, that shouldnt mean your wife and children arnt called on surely. Perhaps Jehovah is giving your wife the break she needs, to get re adjusted to both of your new found circumstances. All you can do is pray and ask him for guidance and strength to support each other through these difficult times. Your doing well Futureman I know that isolation of being in no mans land, but you definately get to know yourself and rely upon nothing or anyone else but Jehovah and his son.

Ok, I see where your coming from, they probably know that you would have questions that would be like Pandoras Box once opened, so your best left alone lol:D
You should keep all your printed info together and ready, because you may never know when they'll come calling, perhaps you'll be able to answer some of their questions because I guess they'll be plenty by then.
