Are angels created in gods image?

we all know from the book of genisis that god said let us make man in our image, so was god talking to jesus and the angels or jesus onley? angels when they were seen by men looked like men but angels obviously have the ability to create fleshly bodies at will, but are they like man created in gods image or something else?

In our image is not referring to physical appearance. It’s referring to attributes. So yes the angels were created in the same likeness and do share the same physical appearance as far as being spirit creatures, but then they said let’s create another type of being in our likeness (even though not in the same physical appearance) which was mankind, unlike the animals that were already here on land and sea, that did not share the same attributes.

Anthony,good points ! I would also say that what Jah said to Jesus in Gen 1:26-28 was a refelction of what had already happened in Heaven. Jah would have said that to Jesus about the angels."Let us make them in our image" This was Jahs original purpose,to fill both spheres of life with beings in HIs/their image. So earth is not the first place this statement was made..and I wonder if after the end of the 1,000 years that there might be another realm where Jah and Jesus also start another form of life where they also enjoy being in Jahs image. However,there is a whole physical universe to be filled yet..and that might take some eons for that to happen.

i thank all for the answers, yes i think it likley that mans original purpose was to attend to the earth and not just earth but the entire realm of things made from dirt throughout the universe, i beleive the angels were created as big brothers to mankind ,and i beleive man was supposed to eventually create another lifeform who in turn would eventully do the same...but while we are in maybe land, i think that in heavan their were angels and beings that were becomeing itchy and iratable at their positions of obeidient servants, so jehovah said let us make man in our image...with the pupose of demonstrating to everyone why? this or that was made and why everyone should obey jehovah,,hope this makes some sense comments welcome
