[Eyes & Ears]

Hello Everyone,

The week of March 8 those of us still attending meetings will begin studying the publication "Come Be My Follower". It's a publication about Jesus' life on earth.

I noticed that the Letter of Introduction from the Society is somewhat different this time. It starts off with Dear Reader and it ends with a closing of "The Publishers."

I say it is different because usually these publications might say Dear Lover of Jehovah or something like that and it closes with Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Nothing big, nothing earth shattering, just something I thought was different.

I Hope you all are well and I pray we all continue to look to Jehovah and his son as we all are trying to cope with something during these critical times. It may be loss of employment (finances/economy), health issues, loss of a loved one or just something.

The times are serious (as we all know) and the Devil is roaring about looking, and salivating for his next easy prey. Don't let him sneak up on ya OKEY DOKEY. KEEP HOLD N ON TIGHT.

Please read your Bible Daily, Please pray incessantly and please I pray we understand the seriousness of the times and the meaning of the things happening inside and outside Jehovah's household with his people and the world in general. The times are extremely serious.


I don't have much to say these days. When I am feeling OK I am I spend most of my time reading Jehovah's Word and sharing in the preaching work, realizing that regardless of what I think, thought or feel, the preaching and teaching is not an option. It must still be done until Jehovah says it is over.

Much is happening inside and outside Jehovah's household as I keep repeating and I am learning much from my spending time with Jehovah and his answering many of my prayerful concerns.

I have had to adjust my thinking in some areas, and Jehovah has helped me to understand many things I did not before. This may also have to do with how much and what I say now when I visit the site.

I will close just by saying: If we don't remember anything else as we get deeper into the times we are now facing and what is to come in the future, I pray we all remember to pray, obey Jehovah, stay focused on the issues, and pray that our thinking is in line with Jehovah is thinking.


May Jehovah be with us all.

1 Thess 5:6

So, then, let us not sleep on as the rest do, but let us stay awake and keep our senses.

Thanks for that Eyes & Ears, You may be right, maybe there is some change of direction among those of the Governing Body and maybe for the good, I certainly hope so, any way.

I certainly hate the way these ones have being throwing there weight around by what they print in Watchtower literature and through the Elders persecuting those that only want the real truth.

Anyway let us all keep on studying and asking Jehovah to help us with his Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ to help us to discern what is really the truth as regards God's Kingdom and how we are to go about preaching it.

The Holy spirit as well as operating on us through the Christ also operates through God's inspired Word as is contained in the Bible cannon.

So when we pray to God for Holy Spirit, we need to be aware that a large part of this spirit will operate on us through the inspired scriptures, particularly the Gospels of the Greek scriptures (Old Testament).

Hi FM,

I don't believe there is any change in the GB direction. They just sometimes try these little subtle and sometimes not so subtle things for whatever their reasonings may be. I just saw this and thought it was interesting/differernt.


In my lil two cent opinion I feel it is just a tad late for them to try to do a 360 or even half of that. I do not believe they would want to harm the "authority" they feel they will continue to have over Jehovah's household presently. Too much at stake here, they don't seem to be the humble type. (my opinion)

eyes and ears i noticed that too! i tell you what else i noticed a bunch of older people at the kingdom hall. why is this? why does our messege apeal to the older group more than the younger group and yes i caught the for those still going, i hate to say this because someone is bound to take it and use it wrongly but my idea of paradise is not and will never be 3 meetings a week and door to door saterday my idea of paradise is being able to go anywere on earth at anytime and not worry about how im going to pay or whos going to mug me on the way nor whos land im trespassing on or were im going to sleep, how wonderful it will be when men no longer have to surround themselves with material objects and our thoughts are centered on being at peace with one another and being freinds with jehovah.

More older ones than younger ones attending. Is it perhaps due to the area where you live. More older than younger ones in the area?? (dunno, just asking)

We have many older ones also in my area (including myself - LOL). Their children are all grown up now with families of their own. Some have moved away, and some of the young ones are just not interested and have left voluntarily and never took to the teachings, and some have just given up and fallen away. We also have widowers who are older.

Yes, Ari I agree it will be wonderful when we can have peaceful thoughts and are all serving our heavenly father.
