yes the doldrums comes to mind.

who knows these things?

if we work with what we know, and don,t try leaping ahead, perhaps we will be more balanced as to our understanding.
we have all witnessed a huge financial tempest the effects of which have been obated by finacial hokerpokery.
quantitave easing equates to a blood transfusion , a finace transfusion, and the world awaits to see if it will work.
will the patient survive the operation or will it die.

well i think the scriptures tell us the outline story that a death stroke is due.
so we have an idea of what is to come, but as to its timing we cannot be certain.

and so what is there that remains for us? as you corrctly say Faith in the things to come, in the Father to send His Son and gather us to HIm.

and i think that for us to have that knowledge, to be aware, in a period of time, the likes that this world has never seen or will indeed see again, and to know with our hearts that the Kingdom of God is coming when all these things occur.is a direct blessing from Jehovah.

luke 21,29-32

" look at the fig tree and all the trees, when they are already budding you see and know for yourself that summer is now near
so you also when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near."
" assuredly i say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all thee things take place"

i think we are entering the foothills of the Great Tribulation.
and knowing that is important, however it is more important to have faith in Christ and His Father to complete all things as was promised.

I was surprised to get past 2009 without the FS crashing. Well, things are still very bad and most nations are struggling to keep heads above water - they are all in a very weak and vulnerable state, it will only take one more big(ish) bank failure or maybe a sovereign default to break the camels back (poor camel). And next time there will be no more bailouts.

I guess Im finding it hard to believe that the nations would get involved with nuclear war,but look at most wars..its imagined or invented reasons...and thats all it takes. So,i guess the demons could exaggerate in the minds of leaders to see things not there. Or make it appear to be something its not. Anything to get a war happening. BUT for it to become NUCLEAR,well,the reasons would have to be extremely drastic to use nukes since it would mean they could no longer trade with someone who can no longer manufacture because nukes were used.

Also,how could Jesus brothers preach to those people killed and maimed by nukes. they woudnt be able to witness in that area except if protected by JC. It seem counter-productive that Jah would allow that when many conventional weapons equal the destruction a nuke can bring,minus the radiation. Time will tell.

I think the nuclear 'threat' has been overblown. No doubt, it is a powerful weapon. Man has found better ways to dominate man. Diseases, bacteria, viruses can selectively kill without repercussions on the elite. Do you know that there have been thousands of nuclear detonations in the past 70 years? Most of them were tests, some were accidents. Notably, Three Mile Island and Chernobyl. The areas affected were localized and are recovering. Nuclear fall-out from thousands of detonations? Global warming, birth defects, acid rain, earthquakes? Probably.

The message is that my travels have taught me a great truth.
I already (had) what every one is searching for but few ever find. Rev. 8:12 "...And a third of the earth was smitten and a third of the moon and a third of the stars, in order that a third of them might be darkened and the day might not have illumination for a third of it, and the night likewise."

Do you have insight, then how can "the night likewise" "not have illumination"?
