Hello SWORDOFJAH, yes the world already are having these conventions of sorts such as when the nations get together at the UN and at summit like the one they have just had in Copenhagen.

And the result is as you say.

But these are not Christian conventions such as Jehovah's Witnesses hold around the world such as the International convention.

They don't come to hear God's Word or study the Bible.

When Christians come together they hold peaceful conventions, where by large they are all in agreement as to God's Word and the message it contains.

There was one major convention held over 1600 years ago though, where Christians came to decide on what actually is Bible doctrine and what books should be included in the Bible cannon as God's word.

That apparently was not a peaceful convention.

As a great controversy over Bible doctrine, broke out.

That was the council at Nicaea.

The Bible cannon was decided out of this.

Was God's spirit on this convention?

so how did we ever get a holy spirt aproved bible canon from all the war, killings, and religious strife?
