As most of you are probably aware, I have been stirring things up on YouTube lately, trying to establish a presence in that medium. Basically I have been responding to some XJW questions and doctrinal issues and stuff. Anyway, here's a video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LrdRK6h5pMM) by a JW who disguises his identity by using an artificial voice program that puts a synthetic voice to whatever you type. It is pretty hilarious actually. Reminds me of the tv documentary formats where the whistle-blower has his face shaded out and voice distorted. What is odd though, is that he mentions me by name as an apostate that should be avoided, even implying that the WT told him so; yet he is soliciting sympathy and support from JW's with similar issues and concerns about the Watchtower. I left a comment on his video but he won't publish it. No big deal. I just thought I'd share.

Well he has come down with the question bug has he not!!!
Time will tell if he starts putting things together.
I thought his questions reveal a good intellect, and his format was pretty engaging even with the anonymity!

Regarding apostate: if Brooklyn knew his name and watched his video he would be added to “The List” any one who questions there authority is added on “The List”

Funny did not Jesus ask the question rhetorically “who really is the faithful and discrete slave?”

Unless my powers of perception are fading in my old age I would say this video is so horribly fake. The account has only recently been created (20Mar), it's subscribed to by all the main youtube haters of Watchtower/JW's and the comment section of the video (and channel) are filled with messages of support from the usual suspects - The fundamentalists, such as Crosscheck (your new best friend), earnestlyseeking, chad, shazoolo, as well as other Watchtower opposers.

It's all a very dishonest game if you ask me. They seem to be creating their own fiction.

That's why I posted this. I felt it was a scam too. I just wanted to see what you guys thought.

Lumping me in with Danny Hazard and Third Witness? Give me a break!

There are some pretty slimy slime balls on YouTube. They are trolling for weak and discouraged JWs. If a person posts there expressing agreement that the org is tyrannical, I am sure that the lurking trolls will try to befriend them, perhaps privately. Sort of like Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Quite an evil operation.

He would not let me post a comment on the video but apparently he does not edit the channel comments. Let's see how long my comment lasts. Okay, well, I have wasted enough of our time with this silliness.

Do you think the problem with some (or maybe many) JW's, is that they have (for whatever reason) made the Watchtower the foundation for their faith and as soon as they get told about or read something regarding the WT's failings and incompetencies, it shatters that faith, leaving then with no foundation and so they leave the religion, and sometimes become bitter opposers? I think the Bible is a better foundation and then to work up from that, rather top-down from the WT.

That is precisely the problem, and I fear that going forward many more will have their faith shattered when the WT goes down, as Jesus said, "many will be stumbled."

I think he's battling with himself, I think we all went through this when the true light started to appear through the cracks, we are so fearful of being branded as the doomed apostate:rolleyes:
What im more shocked at is Acts 8:37 And Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”

I think it’s hysterical he places Thirdwitnesses in the apostate brackets; in fact where is Thirdwitness?

If the guy wants to debate why can’t he make a video refuting e-watchman teachings rather that just making the statement Robert King is an apostate. He’s doing the same as his elders by deleting e-watchman’s comments, bit hypocritical really.

I serious question if this is genuine:rolleyes:

On the other hand, if it is genuine, he was just repeating what the WT told him were apostate on the internet. He might not know who they are. He clearly said he doesnt want to argue but only talk to JW's that may have had a similar experience. The story is kind of touching to me if this is true.
Im also aware of sneeks and liars.
But thats just me giving the benefit to the doubt.

This is why I am so confused and worried about the Watchtowr and Jehovah Witnesses. Why Should I Put So Much time and effort into this organization or religion just to set my self up for failure. Why is it so wrong to put in depth thinking and study into the other christian beliefs and doctrines. All I am doing is taking in knowledge right???????? Wether it is right or wrong I dont know but I think we all owe it to ourselves to look into it.

Stop, Drop and Roll!

Put out the fires of doubt!

The time and effort spent to come to know Jehovah's purpose is not wasted!

Hello JB, the Watchtower Society through it's members in the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses have for years encouraged people to consider their own beliefs to see whether their beliefs falls in line with what the Bible actually teaches.

When I was going to people's doors I certainly was encouraging people to do this in regards to their own religious beliefs and what the Bible teaches.

Truth is a very funny thing in away, because what is determined to be truth one day can turn into what is false the next day.

This was why Pilate, the Roman governor was very skeptical about "what is truth".

He most likely had a good idea of what the pharisees and the Sadducee taught.

And so a man (Jesus Christ) comes on the scene as from his perspective, and is said to be professing that he be the son of God, and starts to teach differently than what the pharisees are teaching and of course far different to his own set of pagan beliefs as a Roman.

But as we know Jesus certainly had the credentials (come from the tribe of Judah and the line of David) and by the miracles that he performed in front of thousands of people) to show that he was indeed the son of God and as he is "The Word" he spoke the "truth" to his disciples and the Jewish Society back then.

Also God himself testified twice as recorded in the scriptures that he Jesus was his Son and the one whom he approved of and to listen to him and his teachings.

Now the apostles warned the early Christians back then that false teaching ( that would be contrary to what Christ did teach) and would creep in to the congregation and take over and indeed the book of Revelations describing the condition of the seven congregations or churches certainly indicates this.
This is certainly what certain Christians backed then in those early times, found as False teachers sneaked in and started teaching as truth what was contrary to what Christ taught his disciples back then, while he was on the earth.

As darkness took over the church, true Christians suddenly found themselves with a dilemma and a serious decision to make, whether they were going to continue on with what the church and it's religious leaders taught, or whether they were going to follow what the scriptures actually taught (what Christ and his apostles after him taught).

Of course as we know from the past a great inquisition followed leading to imprisonment, torture, and in a lot of the cases cruel death.

Now as you are most likely studying the book "What does the Bible really teach", the onus is really on you and your family to determine what does the Bible really teach.

This involves every member of every Christian religion as well as Jehovah's Witnesses to keep on checking just as the Bereans did back then in checking every scripture to see whether it was in line with the apostle Paul's teachings to make sure that what he was saying was accurate at least as far as they could individually determine, this applies also to all of us in our day as we listen to the teachings of our religious leaders.

I dont understand what you mean Mr. Watchman. I have never nor will I ever consider anytime I spend with the bible as wasted. Wether it is with the good folks at the Kingdom Hall, myself, me and my wife, my seminary friend at work, pastor Mark Driscoll, or this wonderful website. My only confusion and doubt is completly understanding doctrine and beliefs. If the Watchtower was not so COMPLETLY different then all other christian religions, I would probably not be feeling this way. My friend at work says my idol is not Jehovah, Lord, God, Jesus, King, or Prince of Peace. I am idolizing knowledge of the bible.....with no faith. Perhaps I am consumed with Satan. He has me by the grips shoving me towards JW's and then back to Pentecostals and then he says HAY check out the catholics and jews while your at it. What I am going through right now, I would not wish upon my worst enemy. 8-9 differnt bibles going at once, 4-5 websites open, EVERYONE seems to have a sound argument that I can agree on.........Yet I cant find the one that is right.

Please everyone pray for me that one day I can be like all of you and have faith strike me in the face and I can truly say I BELIEVE AND I LOVE "GOD". Whichever religion it may be.

I REALLY REALLY respect you and your videos Mr. Watchman and quote you constently when discussing bible matters. So I guess you could say your comment kinda hurt. I just want knowledge and truth.

JB no matter what anyone teaches you always Listen please to our Lord Jesus Christ our head and King, for he is the "Word of God"

His word is contained in the four Gospels of the Greek scriptures and in the apostles writings as he was taught by them directly and by the Holy Spirit that he sent them.

All his sheep listen to his voice, for he is their shepherd and he is the one that has bought all the sheep with the price of his spilled blood

Why is it so wrong to put in depth thinking and study into the other christian beliefs and doctrines.

What? like the Trinity, Hell, Immortality of the soul, etc - LOL!

When someone has, by their own free will, spent time studying certain fundamental Christian beliefs/doctrines with the Witnesses and decided for themselves that they are correct compared to other Christian teachings, then there is no point spending time researching all the wrong answers. That would be a waste of time, and to repeat what I said in an previous post - that video is fake garbage, it also amazes me that anyone could think otherwise.

JB, the easiest thing to do, is compare which religion is the closest to the first century christians. First eliminate all the Trinitarians, as I explained to you already that they are members of the world council of churches. Could you honestly and truely in your heart see Jesus attending these denominations with buddah on the alter, aboriginal dancing taking place with native american peace pipes at a christian service lol:confused:

What video are you referencing I am at a complete loss.

I feel like everyone is missing my point. I have studied and studied the NWT with Jehovah Witnesses using WATCHTOWER based material. I HAVE ONLY BEEN FED ONE POINT OF VIEW!!!! There is a reason why everything is so different . I WANT TO KNOW WHY!!!! All answers I ask refer me back to a Watchtower publication supporting their doctrine. As I have said to really get into the "other" christian doctrine I should use THEIR PUBLICATIONS and THEIR BIBLE. How can I REALLY know which is right?????? I can go to other websites and get a quick overview on why, but NO in depth study with an actual person. When things get questioned about doctrine I am always refered to MAN MADE HISTORY, like Shinkah's post. I started off learning with JW's and started accepting it as truth, and only LOOKING FOR THINGS THAT PROVED THEM RIGHT!!!!! I have to have the other view. I really really really feel this would lead me to truth. And if after all this I find out I had it right all along with JW's, then you can all laugh at me and say I TOLD YOU SO!!!!! I really love reading the bible, this is the only thing I really feel true in saying. I just have to find out why other christian religions completly believe the way they do.

Sorry for the caps up above. I wont spend time editing now that I have calmed down. I just hope everyone is reading and listening to what I am trying to convey, and not give me LOL after LOL cause I want to investigate further.

Forgive me for my "lol" brother, sometimes I forget that we are not all at the same stage of learning, I guess I never questioned the truth when I first heard it 30 years ago, I just knew it was right. Then I researched religion 25 years later after being severly stumbled, got lead down a dark path a bit like a trap set by satan, and learnt a very hard lesson. I literally begged Jehovah to show me the truth and he did, I had it all along, but had to be stumbled before seeing the real truth for what it was.
Only you can walk your path none of us can do that for you, but you are blessed to have been lead to this site, I doubt you will get any clearer understanding anywhere else, infact I know you wont, im putting my neck on the line here:rolleyes:
Just keep knocking and asking and the missing peices will eventually come together.

Hi Jason,

The video which Watchman alluded to in the entry that started this post.

The truth is simple.
Jehovah is THE God; Almighty, Eternal.

Jesus is his only begotten son. The chief agent through which Jehovah's will is fulfilled.

Instead of studying other religion's literature-go to e-watchman.com download "Jehovah has become King" and read that. That should bring you up to where most of us in this forum are.

All the best.
