Memorial 2010 New Partakers

Hello Brothers and Sisters,

May Christ's peace abound to you all. I have a question for everyone: Is anyone planning on partaking at this year's Lord's Evening Meal that has not done so before?

I am curious to know where the increase in the number of partakers worldwide is coming from; whether it is from newly associated ones with less of a basis for fear of reprisal due to partaking, or whether it is from those with a longer history in the brotherhood who have either had a heavenly calling or a change in understanding regarding their view of those who should partake.

As for me, I will not be partaking this year.

Hi Slave for Jah

I have a change in my understanding regarding my view of those who should

partake and it is tearing me up inside. However until Jehovah helps

me totally understand what I think I am understanding I will step back and not

partake this year. I am very torn and upset. I should not be feeling this way.

I don't like it. Perhaps as I continue on in my walk with prayer, Jehovah's Holy

Spirit directing me and lots of study trying to make sure of what I think I am

understanding it will become absolutely clear. Until then may Jehovah help all

those with similar torn hearts, thoughts. When it comes to serving Jehovah

now I am quite serious about what I am doing. I just don't do things anymore

off of emotion and as I did in my younger days when I was quite fickled and

impulsive in my life decisions. I now have to Make

Sure and Wait. I don't want to do something because of a feeling. feelings

change from second to second. I also will not when Jehovah directs me, bring it up

on the board due to the registration policy. I hope I understand that correctly also



May we all take the time to reflect on what Jehovah and Jesus have done for

mankind.

Therefore I will wait until the times Jehovah gives me understanding.

I have been in the truth my entire life, and was 'called' a year and a half ago. I have found it extremely difficult to speak of my hope and have faced much scorn. I partake because it is my calling and because my confidence is in Jehovah. Fear of man is a powerful thing and popular opinion can make it very hard to serve Jehovah as we should. Eyes and Ears talk to Jehovah in earnest as I know you do and he will answer you. Sometimes He shows us things in quiet ways, listen hard for the small ways He answers, and be discerning. I love you and always appreciate your posts.

Thanks GM. This is the most difficult of everything I have ever experienced in my

life. I certainly have cried out to Jehovah and I will keep my heart, eyes and

As I also stated in another post, that I for the first time in 30 years felt like taking the emblems, but like you E&E, its an extremely serious decision and one not to be based upon emotions. There has been a change over the years and I know its god holy spirit guiding me, but I want to experience paradise on earth and the two dont mix, so I will just continue as before and ask for guidance through prayer. Thats all we can do sister, its a fearful yet awe inspiing responsibiliy but Jehovah in time will let you know.
