<div align="left">Yet once more I will set in commotion not only the earth but also the heaven.—Heb. 12:26.</div>
The apostle Paul was quoting from Haggai 2:6, which speaks of God’s "rocking the heavens and the earth." The rocking would ultimately "overthrow the throne of kingdoms and annihilate the strength of the kingdoms of the nations." (Hag. 2:22) In quoting Haggai, Paul states what is to happen to "the kingdoms of the nations" and speaks of the superiority of the unshakable Kingdom that anointed Christians will receive. (Heb. 12:28) We can see from this that the prophecies of Haggai, like those of Zechariah, point to a time that was still future when the book of Hebrews was written in the first century of our Common Era. There still is on earth today a remnant of anointed Christians, who are heirs of the Messianic Kingdom with Jesus. Hence, Haggai and Zechariah must have serious import for our time. w 4/15/06 3, 4

The Watchtower has become very adept at "double-faced divination," as it says in Ezekiel. Reading the text and the Watchtower article it was taken from I noticed that the WT did not actually come out and say that Jehovah had already shaken the heavens and earth. However, the study article certainly implied that God began shaking the nations in 1914 blah, blah, blah. They did not say so implictly however; nor did the text or article implicitly state that the prophecy of Haggai has a future fulfillment. To do so what mean that God has yet to take out "the desirable things" of the nations. So, that&#39;s why we get this sort of limp-wristed, vague and uncommitted, "explanations" of prophecy.
