One thing I've always thought to myself was that regardless of my fate in regards to the GT, it can only get better for the planet and the things in it... The GT is the beginning of a planetary rebirth. I'd love to be there as it happens, but I don't get to make that decision...

Either way, its a good thing - if only for the animals... I don't think THEY would question Jehovah's sovereignty.

Ever since 9-11, 2001, the United States has been fighting World War Three, or World War Four according to some people. (World War Three was supposedly the Cold War)

Although people living in the West would never know there was a world war raging, according to the Bush admin there is. And the global war on terror is going to last a long, long time.

The thing that makes all of this interesting is that the neo-cons know the clock is ticking. They know that in all probabilty the Republicans are going to be swept out of office in the 2008 presidential elections. It seems that every week a new scandal emerges. And the movement to impeach Cheney and Bush is gaining momentum. (This past week the Detroit City Council voted to urge the Congress to impeach.) So, no doubt there is a growing sense of urgency in the war party to get onto the next phase of war. If there is an all out war in the Persian Gulf it is doubtful that there will even be another presidential election in the U.S. They could just put the nation under martial law and cancel the whole thing. It might require another 9-11 to serve as a trigger for an attack on Iran, but surely that can be easily arranged.

WASHINGTON (May 19) - The Southern Ocean around Antarctica is so loaded with carbon dioxide that it can barely absorb any more, so more of the gas will stay in the atmosphere to warm up the planet, scientists reported on Thursday.

Human activity is the main culprit, said researcher Corinne Le Quere, who called the finding very alarming.

The phenomenon wasn't expected to be apparent for decades, Le Quere said in a telephone interview from the University of East Anglia in Britain.

"We thought we would be able to detect these only the second half of this century, say 2050 or so," she said. But data from 1981 through 2004 show the sink is already full of carbon dioxide. "So I find this really quite alarming."

The Southern Ocean is one of the world's biggest reservoirs of carbon, known as a carbon sink. When carbon is in a sink -- whether it's an ocean or a forest, both of which can lock up carbon dioxide -- it stays out of the atmosphere and does not contribute to global warming .

The new research, published in the latest edition of the journal Science, indicates that the Southern Ocean has been saturated with carbon dioxide at least since the 1980s.

This is significant because the Southern Ocean accounts for 15 percent of the global carbon sink, Le Quere said.

Recall that we had similar military buildup in the months leading up to 911 and Afghanistan. But the whole operation was years in the planning. The American oilcrats (Bush, e.g.) decided they would build the vital oil pipeline from the oil-rich Caspian Sea down through the middle of Afghanistan and down to the western coast of India. Now consider the Bushes and their place in the oil hierarchy, and their business relationship with the Bin Laden family (small world, isn't it?).

It really is astonishing that the people at large in the western world have no idea how the Anglo-US king is maneuvering his war machine into place, again.

Our Food Supply

Cat Food, now Cat Fish

Anyone else hear anything regarding Cat Fish and other fish being contamintated coming in from China. I was listening to Lou Dobbs on CNN a few minutes ago regarding the anti-biotics China is putting in their Fish water due to to the Chemical pollutants and the human waste. The anti-biotics are contaminating the fish and making people sick. They showed pictures and it was disgusting looking water.

There was some talk about what the FDA is doing and it was expressed by Lady reporter speaking to Lou Dobbs that the FDA says they are understaffed and overworked. So Lou Dobbs said well I guess that means for the American People's food supply "GOOD LUCK" if this food is not being checked/inspected as it comes in from other countries.

E-Coli (lettuce, spinach) Mad Cows, Filthy Fowl, Contaminated Fish and tainted pet food hmmmmmmmm. I don't know but there is beginning to look like a pattern forming here or am I having one of my over -reacting spells hmmmmmm.

unlike mad-cow (CJD) the bird flu virus can be killed in the cooking process - much like other contaminants we consider more genric in meat (salmonilla, e-coli, worms, etc...).

If all else fails, we'll all become vegitarians, and I will open up a pizza parlor... I could live off of pizza and cocoa-puffs.

Actually recently, the disgusting situation involving the beef/poultry/pork industry and the way that mankind inflicts suffering on Jehovah&#39;s creations have forced me to choose not to eat meat anymore very recently. I just can&#39;t stand to see the neglect and uncaring attitude for life anymore, animals or humans. A complete disrespect for life, and its disgusting. I pray Jehovah will END this soon.

E&E thanks for bringing us back on to the topic posted by Gabriel, which incidentally provides one of the most interesting links I&#39;ve seen recently.

If you read the article carefully you will see that it is in the interests of the Anglo-American war machine to destabilise the Middle East and keep the militias and especially those supportive of Iran very busy. This of course suits Israel too. The comments on Iraq and the agenda to encourage the division within the country are also revealing. In any case, all of this, including the presence of Western troops in Lebanon all sets the scene for a forthcoming attack on Iran (and Syria?). Control of the Middle East means having your troops and hardware in place and any pretext for a military build up will do.

Gas prices, as if we do not know, continues to escalate. In Aspen Colorado gas is $4.09 a gallon. Hey if we move to Venezuela gas is between 10 and 19 Cents.

There was a Samonella outbreak in Germany 250 sent to hospital and 2 died.

In East China 100 children hospitalized due to viral fever. No other info yet.

Now I must say, I have never in all my little life seen so much goings on going on at once. hmmmmmmm.
