[Esau] in exchange for one meal gave away his rights as firstborn - Heb. 12:16
Esau failed to consider how his decision to sell his birthright would affect his relationship with Jehovah or what influence his action would have on his off-spring. He lacked spiritual vision. He walked by sight, not by faith. Esau provides a warning example for us today. (1Cor 10:11) When we face decisions, whether great or small, we must not be seduced by the propaganda of Satan's world, which says that you must have what you want right now. We do well to ask ourselves: 'Are Esaulike tendencies showing up in the decisions I make? Would pursuing what I want now mean putting spiritual interests in the background? Are my choices endangering my friendship with God and my future reward? What kind of example am I setting for others?' If our choices reflect appreciation for sacred things, Jehovah will bless us. - Prov 10:22

Good Morning All
Well, if we ever allowed our spiritual vision to lose its focus, we certainly can understand the pain that causes. Been there done that :203: , don't want to go backwards again.
I visit my spiritual eye doctor every day, so my vision is now in focus 20/20. Jehovah has taught me to look at the TOTAL PICTURE. I pray that Jehovah will not let us get caught off guard by anyone's unscriptural propaganda, I don't care who it is.
We are free moral agents, may we use that freedom to always bring honor and glory to Jehovah in all the decisions and choices we make. I now see very clearly, my relationship is with JEHOVAH and I will have to answer to Jehovah and only Jehovah when all is said and done hmmmmmmmm..
I have come to understand and appreciate, the old saying. BE CAREFUL OF WHAT YOU PRAY FOR, ASK FOR AND WANT. YOU MAY GET IT, AND IT MAY NOT BE WHAT YOU NEED. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.
I now also understand and appreciate what happens when I make EMOTIONAL AND IMPULSIVE DECISIONS, WHEN I DO NOT CONSULT WITH JEHOVAH FIRST AND WHEN NOT TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION ALL THE CONSEQUENCES OF MY CHOICES AND COUNTING THE TOTAL COST. PHEW WHAT UNNECESARY DRAMA THAT BRINGS INTO YOUR LIFE. :icon_rolleyes:
Hold on tight everyone and I pray we always consult Jehovah first and allow him to help us make the best decision and it may not necessarily be what we want, but he will direct us as to what we need hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

E&E I love your new signature (HMMMMmmm) I crack up everytime I see it. as far as Easu is concerned, I think we all display those tendacies in some degree or another....and in a sence we've all sold our birth right (is that two words or one?) I think Jehovah looks at how much we're willing to reconise that and the willingness we show in wanting to right our wrongs the best we can. In truth, isnt that all that anyone can do?
To keep our inner Easu outof the way means that we..as E&E made perfectly clear, need to speak with Jehovah on a regular basis. Satan has riged the world to exploit our inner Easu and surpress "The New Personality" Look at the latest T.V commercial or billboard. For Godsake, I went to go buy a labtop that I really didnt need! O well...just shows that we have to be on guard on a Minute basis....it only takes a few second to get taken over by the world. later guys....I gotta find that best buy recept.
