This speech is shocking; who can listen to it?—John 6:60.

Not all of Jesus’ disciples reacted that way to Jesus’ illustration recorded at John 6:53, 54. Admittedly, the loyal disciples did not fully understand what Jesus had said. Still, their confidence in him remained very firm. Peter expressed the feelings of all who remained when he said: “Lord, whom shall we go away to? You have sayings of everlasting life.” (John 6:68) What an excellent attitude, and what a fine example! In our case, we might be disappointed that Jehovah’s promises are not being fulfilled as quickly as we personally would like. We might feel that explanations of the Scriptures in our Bible-based publications are difficult to understand. The conduct of a fellow Christian might disappoint us. Would it be right to stop walking with God for these or similar reasons? Of course not! The disciples who abandoned Jesus betrayed a fleshly way of thinking. We must avoid doing the same. w 9/1/05 14-16a

The only reason we might feel that way is being told the clouds of Armageddon have been gathering since 1914. Is it any wonder we have become exasperated and our hearts have become heavy in waiting.

And as for the explanation of scripture how much more confusion do they wont than the six comings of Christ.</span></span> </span>

Oh what a tangled web we weave,
When first we practise to deceive!
Sir Walter Scott, Marmion, Canto vi. Stanza 17.
Scottish author & novelist (1771 - 1832)

The WTS could stop the insanity by humbly admitting their error, but that&#39;s not the way it&#39;s foretold to work out. So we just have to patiently wait for Jehovah to unravel their web.....

Yes, those brother’s at Bethel need to sit down and have a long hard look at the scriptures and examine whether nor not they apply to them or Christendom. If they apply the Christendom them maybe they can explain why Jeremiah keeps using the phrase ‘My People’? Why do Jeremiah and the other prophets speak about reconciliation with Jehovah if they are to be destroyed as the society say they will be? None of what they say makes any sence; I just don’t understand why we can’t have the truth. Why cant they just humble themselves and say yes this is Jehovah’s organization but there are things we’ve got wrong and here they are .................................................. ...................................……………………………………… ……………………………

List them gave explanations along with apologies and let the brother&#39;s makeup their own minds. If they wish to leave well that’s there choice, but at least they have been told the truth instead of all this hiding. I am I suppose when it come to theses matters an optimistic idealists. But better have the truth than live a lie no matter how much the truth hurts. Time is a great healer, and given time those with big hearts will forgive especially when those saying sorry are truly repentant

Good Morning All,

Upon first reading over the text today, I allowed myself to be affected negatively to the point of disgust. Then I pulled myself together and calmed down. Mini-prayer time to Jehovah.

I would like to share my thoughts with you all now OKEY DOKEY. If they can help anyone fine, if not thank you for letting me express myself.

All I can say for myself now is E & E stay focused OK. You have been enlightened, and reminded by Jehovah of what is what, what is going on and why. You don&#39;t know everything, but Jehovah has revealed enough for you to understand what he wants YOU to understand for now and for you to remain firm, cope, and continue.

Jehovah has helped me to understand: OK MISSY You at one time choose to leave the org, wander around like a spiritual idiot (Female Nebuchadnezzar, eating all kinds of grass, insects and nonsensical theories etc. etc.) and almost going insane because you were sooooooo in the know Missy. I said stay put, but nooooooo you just ran all around in circles, so I let you wander around in circles. Yes, I know you were confused, but did you give me a chance to explain nooooooooooooooooo. You took some of the info I REVEALED TO YOU you and went into nutso mode with it. You did not wait for rme to clear things up FOR YOU, you put on your SPIRITUAL ROLLER BLADES and ROLLED AROUND on your own. You are a free moral agent, so you used your freedom for such, I had nothing to do with that Missy. REMEMBER YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW HMMMMM.

Then positive thoughts started flowing through my ole pea brain.

Jehovah gives us what we need when we need it. (AND RIGHT ON TIME TOO) His timing is not the same as our timing. Hmmmm. Jehovah tried to help me way back when, but I misunderstood and ran amuck. I did not wait for Jehovah to finish refining me. Had I done so instead of lashing out at everyone, I most like would have saved myself lots of spiritual, mental and emotional pain.

Jehovah directed E & E to return to the org and sit down and shut up for now. That is what I have done. Was it easy NOPE IT WAS NOT. I HAD TO EAT HUMBLE PIE AND LOTS OF IT.

What&#39;s next, I don&#39;t know. But this I do know. I will stay focused, pay attention to how I listen, stay awake, keep on the watch, and not eat any spiritual goobly gook from the org or anyone else.

I will speak when Jehovah says speak, and move when Jehovah directs E & E to move. Because when we move before Jehovah says to move and we speak before Jehovah says to speak he is not responsible for what MESSES WE CREATE.

It is just like the FDS or whomever. In whose authority are they/we speaking hmmmmmmmmmmm. If Jehovah is not working with you or through you, you are out there on your own and sooner or later it will be revealed hmmmmmm.

So in rambling/ranting conclusion (laughing) we may not understand everything revealed to us right now, but KEEP ON HOLDING ON TO JEHOVAH AND HIS SON.

DO NOT ALLOW THE BEHAVIOR OF OTHERS, INFO FROM THE ORG, OR OUR FLESHLY WAY OF THINKING FORCE US TO GIVE UP/GIVE IN AND MOVE AHEAD BEFORE JEHOVAH DIRECTS US TO.

IMO THIS IS A REFINING TIME FOR THOSE OF US IN THE KNOW (JUST MY OPINION) IF WE CANNOT EVEN PASS THIS LITTLE REFINING TEST WE ARE GOING THROUGH, WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO IN THE FUTURE HMMMMM. (again just my opinion)

These are just my experiences, and some of what Jehovah has allowed me to understand. If any of this can help anyone then OKEY DOKEY.

The bottom line in my opinion is to stay focused and stay in Jehovah&#39;s word and WAIT ON JEHOVAH. WE WILL REAP THE CONSEQUENCES OF ANY MESSES WE CREATE.

This is a very difficult, emotional and trying time for all of us. Waiting on Jehovah&#39;s direction can be a BIG TEST TO SOME OF US. HOW DO I KNOW. BEEN THERE AND DONE THE PUSHING AHEAD OF JEHOVAH THING. IT WAS UGLY VERY UGLY INDEED.

JEHOVAH WILL NOT DIRECT US TO DO ANYTHING BEYOND OUR CAPABILITIES. (JUST MY LITTLE OPINION).

Thanks for listening and allowing me to ramble.

Love out to you all

E & E

Lou, hope you feel better soon!

E&E, I love your rants. You, among others, saved me from making mistakes that could have gotten me in hot water, so thank you. Thank you for sharing your insights, and thank you for helping ones like me keep our sensibilities instead of putting on those roller blades. Goodness knows, if I had put on the roller blades I would have broken my neck!

I&#39;m sorry you have had such a difficult time when it came to learning the truth about the truth, but......you have been refined by Jehovah and made a stronger person for it. Your steel has been forged to a new degree! When Jehovah allowed you to be refined by fire, you came out positively glowing with the spirit!

So, you are now in a position to help many people who are new to all this, not to go overboard emotionally or say something that could land them in hot water. It&#39;s hard biting your tongue and being patient, isn&#39;t it? But your example of perseverance helps us all to hold on, as do your numerous shouts. (Heb. 10:24) Thanks for your valuable contributions to the discussion board, and helping us all to hang on to what little sanity we have left!

We have so many like E&E here. Everyone plays a part in providing encouragement, insight, and a way for us to deal with the emotional aspects of having such faith challenging issues come into our life. Jehovah has been generous when it comes to revealing things and providing what we need, when we need it.
