As I was flipping through the channels of my tv. I came across an episode of "Chris Angel.....Mind Freak" Some of you may have heard of him. Anyway this guy is famous for appearing to do the impossable such as Walking on water, to Levitating not just a couple of inches off the ground but floating to the top of buildings and decending off of them. Many of these buildings being sky scrapers.

Those who are eye witnesses of what appears to be Meraculous events are floored and sware up and down there are no strings atatched or any hidden mirrors. In some of these performances he allows himself to even be touched by spectators as he levitates to prove the genuiness of it. This guy is also well known for being able to effect his seroundings by "The Power of His Mind". Those who witness these things are struck by one of two emotions. Fear or absalute reverance of the guy saying.."he's like Jesus or something!"

After seeing this I began to think....This is a small scale of how satan will influence the masses by "doing many powerful works" Im theroughly convienced that there will be some sort of a showdown between the two witnesses and Those whom satan will use to try and discredit them. Just as the egyptions tried to do with Jehovahs servant Moses. We are going to have to keep are sences folks. There are things comming upon the earths scene that has never taken place before. The Mericles that Our lord performed such as curing the sick, walking on water and such will be underminded to an even greater degree.

Yeah, people can perform some convincing magic tricks. And in the case of Chris Angel, it's all illusion - the audiences are in on the trick too. Just goes to show that with real magic (like what the Egyptians did), you can perform even more stupefying shows... we need to keep on our toes in order not to be taken in by all this rubbish.

Im not so sure its all an illusion Borean. Some of these magicians are so desperate for reconition and fame that its not unheard of for some to even turn to the supernatural, making packs or deals and such.....even pefroming bizzare rituals before a show. I dont think that it would be wise to dismiss it all as illusions and tricks. Demons have REAL power and can aid those whom they wish. just as in the case of fortune telling. The bible gives real accounts of those whom were used by demons to be able to do such things. They wern't mere illusions or tricks. Thats why God's word tell us to beware of those who practice such things.

INMO, when one wants someting strong enough from the supernatual, Satan will see that he gets it, but remember

From what I understand a fake Rapture is not impossiable.
Just throw a beam of light onto a crowd and project that into the sky.

I never heard of that show - but what comes to my mind - he could have gone to india and learned the levitating and snake controlling practices of the yogis - amongst other things they do

and then theres so much advancement in technology - with nano computers and some of the things brought out in other post about bending light - imagine satan combining all these things together - that would be one powerful show
