Newpaper Reporter Looking For Story

I got an email from the religion writer of a large American newspaper yesterday. She is doing a story on religion and politics and had read some of my blog and wanted to know if JW's were struggling with issues of political involvement. Anway, I took the opportunity to tell her about the WT's NGO affair and explained to her that even though it is an old story it has never been thoroughly told to the public. I am hoping she will look into it and publish something. I'll let you know what comes of it, if anything.

I got a brief reply from the reporter and she said she would do her best to look into the NGO affair. She also said there was definitely a story there. So, we'll see. I think I will send her a link to the essay Strange Bed Fellows to bring her up to speed on the issue. If it is Jehovah's time to stir the pot a bit then it will happen.
