I thought everyone would enjoy the following e-mail I received from some very excited friends! There was a 5-minute audio recording that came along with this and I listened to the audio clip and it confirms the written report below. The speaker being quoted is James Rayford and the talk was “Be Intensely Occupied With God’s Inspired Word”. I don’t think the comments he made were actually a part of the talk because he said in the audio clip: “I’m going to set my notes down because there is something I want to say to you” … I’m sure this will generate a few comments. Also, in his comments he referred to the Governing Body and Faithful and Discreet Slave interchangeably, literally stating that the FDS is the GB. This means, at least to me, that they are saying that a FDS does not exist outside of the GB members.

<span style="font-family:Times New Roman">I just wanted to let you know about an important piece of information I heard first hand, this morning (actually on a recording of a Bethel representative giving a talk at the 2007 Special Day Assembly in Houston, TX). *This same message was presented last weekend at a San Diego Special Day Assembly*. The brother specifically said (and repeated, for emphasis) that the Faithful and Discreet Slave has decided that they have FULFILLED the scripture at Matthew 24:14! There are only 3 countries that do not have Witnesses living in the vicinity (North Korea, Somalia, Afghanistan). These 3 countries "bears community responsibility" for their inhabitants. These 3 countries have been preached to and currently have literature, though no witnesses live there (because Jehovah will no longer send us to places where our lives would be in danger). </span>

The brother also said the GB is preparing for Jehovah to "put into their (governmental rulers) hearts" his purpose, then the great tribulation will INSTANTLY be upon us. He also said we have VERY LITTLE time to get our affairs in order, before we (the great crowd and the rest of mankind) are "locked into" judgment.

After hearing that recording twice, I have to admit it is VERY sobering and I have tears in my eyes and shivers down my spine. I am so ready for the end to come, but I also realize that I need to continue doing as much as I possibly can do for Jehovah before that time. </span>

Hopefully, you will find this news just as motivating. I will send the recording onto you all if I can get a copy from my friend.

P.S. It turns out, since I&#39;ve sent this report to you, that 4 other friends (from other places in the United States) have heard the same exact message last weekend at their own assemblies. Obviously, we all will hear the same message at our own assemblies (as time permits, Jehovah willing), this 2007-year. (end of e-mail)

at the book study...the conducter relayed to us..said to not let this scare us..but it will take 1 and half yr to get through the book...but a member of the anointed....who he named.....stated that he doubted if we would make it through the Rev. book before the end comes.....

To me the bottom line is always being prepared no matter when...and staying in Jehovah and Christ....

What is so clear to me...is probably if not for Jehovah, man would have already done himself in and the earth...as there are enough nuclear armaments to literally blow up the earth 100 plus times over...of course now they have the modified nuclear weapons they can really use...as with the old ones there would have been no winners of a war

I think I will stay within the boundaries of what Jehovah says in Matthew 24:15, 16 & 36 and continue to remain watchful as scriptures suggests. I think I will not run ahead of Jehovah nor will I allow anyone to work me up in a panic. I will stay on the watch and use common spiritual sense However.


Therefore when you catch sight of the disgusting thing that causes desolation, as spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in a holy place (let the reader use discernment) then let those in Judea begin fleeing to the mountains.

Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father. (however, I stay on the watch with the folllowing scritpures in that chapter regarding Noah&#39;s day), etc.

I think I will also use Revelation Chapter 22 and verses 18 & 19 to apply to these statements also, even though these scriptures apply to Rev.

And if anyone takes away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.

I went through this in 1975. I will not allow anyone to make me crazy again.

I will wait on Jehovah and do exactly what his Holy Spirit tells me to do. If anyone is telling me something that I feel does not line up with scriptures I WILL NOT BUDGE OR FOLLOW ANYTHING THEY SAY. This is the time it is critical to be of sound mind and to be on the watch and know our scriptures, and what Jehovah is saying to us. We are going to have to help others to understand when the confusion hits the fan.

Stay close to Jehovah in prayer and pray for those who have our best interests and are following the lead of the Holy Spirit and not the other spirit hmmmmmmmmmmm.

we are not so naive as to put our faith in men....no....we put our faith in Jehovah and Christ to act ....and in Jehovahs set time....not in mans time table....this is what we are learning to separate the True God Jehovah and Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour from imperfect men....however....we do not want to forsake the gathering of ourselves together...and encouraging one another, all the more as the end draws near....when Jesus does return.

How shall I get across the conclusion for me .....I will learn to listen to Jehovah and Christ Jesus ...and Jehovah told me in the scripture...its for no man to know the times nor the seasons.....but Jesus did give us signs to look for ...composite signs that would indicate he was close to returning and taking action.....

Is this the same topic that was started over on an anti-Witness board, along with an audio file that is allegedly from a higher-up? If so, it&#39;s a shame that it&#39;s being brought here in order to "stir the pot," as it were. I would prefer to think that we have better things to do than hash over recycled material from anti-Witness sites.

The Society does often infer that because the preaching work has made it to most parts of the world, that one can reasonably conclude that the gist of the preaching work has been accomplished. It&#39;s hard not to conclude that, based on the available evidences.

The Bible only tells*us that the good news of the kingdom would be preached throughout the inhabited earth, and then the end would come. The apostle Paul was seen as someone whose preaching work had reached "throughout the inhabited earth" (Acts 24:5), a fact that has been verified by Bible historians. Paul&#39;s ministry went far and wide and deep into Gentile lands, but the expression isn&#39;t necessarily literal either, but rather representative of the whole. Applying that to the words of Jesus, Jesus said that his followers would preach "in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations."

The question, then, is whether this requires that Jesus&#39; followers physically be in every nation in order for it to be said that the preaching had extended "in all the inhabited earth." Well, it was said of Jesus&#39; followers in the first century, and yet we know that there were parts of the "inhabited earth" that had not yet been reached with the message of the kingdom and of Jesus as the Christ. It follows, then, that there is no literal requirement that it literally is known in every nook and cranny of the world--it only has to progress to the point that the purpose of the preaching work, "for a witness to all the nations" be fulfilled. In the days of Paul and the other apostles, this was certainly the case, for Rome was the world empire of their day. And everywhere in the Roman empire, Christianity had found a way to be heard. But the end didn&#39;t come yet: Jehovah showed that there was still work to be done.

Today, we await the revealing of the final world empire, the one that will rise up against Jesus&#39; followers in the same way that the Roman empire did. If by parallel we are to find Jesus&#39; words fulfilled, then by parallel we must go into the dark days ahead. That may mean that once that final world empire is in place, the preaching work will enter its last laborious,*dangerous period before the end comes: only Jehovah knows. All we know is that what we preach, what we demonstrate with out own lives to the world around us is that we look to the good news of the kingdom as the true solution to humankind&#39;s ills and woes. We preach the Christ impaled, and we look for those who respond to our message of hope and faith.

We&#39;ll know when the preaching work is finished, and we won&#39;t need mortal men to make that declaration for us--because the Master of the Harvest will be the one who declares, "It is finished." Until then, Jesus&#39; words are our warning: "No man that has put his hand to a plow and looks at the things behind is well fitted for the kingdom of God." (Luke 9:62)

If one were to consider China, India, Pakistan and other such countries has the good new really be preached just because a few missionaries are there and literature has been placed. It seems to me that on the basis of the current preaching work that everlasting life is a lottery. If you are born in one of the three countries mentioned then tuff, you die. If you&#39;re born in Asia then the probabilities of being contacted are minimal, then tuff you die. If you&#39;re born in the United States or Europe maybe you&#39;re in with a chance of life. If this report is truth then it will create a heightened excitement among the brothers. As I said my jaw is on the floor and I won&#39;t believe it until I get more confirmation, the reason being I just can&#39;t believe the stupidity of such a proclamation. If it&#39;s truth then they are &#39;stupid prophets&#39;.

Actually you are absolutely correct in your feelings of DISGUST. If these statements as you stated have any measure of truth to them they are certainly going over and beyond.

HOLD ON TIGHT FOLKS, This is most likely a sick rumor and these types of nut stories could easily manifest themselves quite often during this time of the end to keep us DISTRACTED AND LOSE OUR FOCUS.

I think it might have the opposite effect, I think a lot of brothers and sisters might see it as an alarming wake-up call that someone doesn&#39;t know what they&#39;re doing. It&#39;s an absolutely ridiculous statement and is a sign of collective madness.

Maybe the GB is tired and worn out? Maybe another vacation is in order? Maybe they think its done because so few people are responding to the stale message these days? Interestingly, I&#39;m finding out that more people than ever before want to hear the truth, and my ministry is booming. Thankfully don&#39;t have to add up my hours and report them every month, I have enough to do.

You are certainly not a nut. I have done what you have done and I am sitting right back there in the meetings EATING MY WORDS.

What happned was I LOST FOCUS ON WHAT IS REAL. I allowed others
to influence/control my thoughts. That was my mistake. So I had to turn around and do the 360 DEGREE DANCE while holding my head down and smacking myself upside my little pea brain head. I could not believe I did this to myself AGAIN.

That is why I throughly understand now how cruical/critical it is to STAY IN JEHOVAH&#39;S WORD, KEEP ON MY SUIT OF ARMOR AND STAY AWAKE AND ON THE WATCH 24/7. It is so easy to lose focus and before we know it we are going off the deep end. This is why I truly truly truly understand why some will get caught when this system really goes down. It will be a complete utter SHOCK, and it will be too late.

As I was thinking about it, I thought maybe it was to good to be true. I talked to a good friend last night who has good friends in Bethel, Patterson and all up and down the east coast and he hasn&#39;t heard anything like this. Though he did suspect that there was going to be an announcement at the district assembly since the subject matter for all three days is how we need to follow Christ.

Also after watching President Bush declare "Peace and Security for Iaq" last night. It sent major chills in my spine. I am kinda gonna have to go on my gut yet again and say that I think something major is going to happen soon. This year.

Many things are becoming clear to me.....that indeed an operation of error has been going on within the WTS....and all the prophecies that are being taught occurred...are yet future....and the teaching of Christ coming and destroying all who aren&#39;t JW I feel is not how it will be...The book of Revelation is just that.. a book of Jesus being revealed and his judgements will begin....all who are alive at the time being gathered together....those who want to be ruled by Christ....

I agree with sis E&E&#39;s ..yes we do need to be where they are teaching Jehovahs will and purposes are going to take place...as we are reminded to not forsake the gathering of ourselves together...this we need...we need to incite love and fine works and encourage each other....right at present we are having a new KH built and we are having an abbreviated sun meeting on MS night so the workers can work sun. on the KH..but I hope to be able to go.....

This is happening right now...
The final phase to the preaching work has already begun. It is being done by the firstfruits to God and to the Lamb, the ones without blemish with no flasehoods in their mouths. They cannot follow hired men(John 10 all) It is a message of judgment and the message is .....Revelation 14 : 6-7

And I saw another angel flying in midheaven, and he had everlasting good news to declare as glad tidings to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people. 7. no mention of the Head of the body which is Christ making any decisions.

That doesn&#39;t make a lot of sense. For one thing, the Catholic Church is only one part of the world system of false religion. Babylon the Great is composed of all religions that have a babylonish pedigree. Secondly, the pedophile scandal did not bring down the Vatican. The Catholic organization is as powerful as it ever was.

This reasoning doesn&#39;t make any sense either. The relatively small number of JW&#39;s that have left the WT are not responding to Jehovah&#39;s call to "get out of her," they have simply been stumbled. There&#39;s a huge difference.

You may wish to delude yourself with this nonsense but I will not allow you a platform to attempt to delude others. Do you understand?

This means, at least to me, that they are saying that a FDS does not exist outside of the GB members.

These 3 countries have been preached to and currently have literature, though no witnesses live there (because Jehovah will no longer send us to places where our lives would be in danger). </span>

The brother also said the GB is preparing for Jehovah to "put into their (governmental rulers) hearts" his purpose, then the great tribulation will INSTANTLY be upon us. He also said we have VERY LITTLE time to get our affairs in order, before we (the great crowd and the rest of mankind) are "locked into" judgment.

After hearing that recording twice, I have to admit it is VERY sobering and I have tears in my eyes and shivers down my spine. I am so ready for the end to come, but I also realize that I need to continue doing as much as I possibly can do for Jehovah before that time. </span>

I think we&#39;re all anxiously looking forward to the day that Babylon the Great really is no more, New Heart. But we need to be careful about jumping the gun. Of course the Society&#39;s teaching that she fell in 1919 is ludicrous. However it was fairly common knowledge on the street even when I was a little kid, that the Catholic Church had a huge problem with pedophile priests. Maybe part of it was growing up in New York City, where people suspect everything and everybody and hypocrisy and corruption in religion rarely goes unnoticed. I guess in some rural parts maybe these things might still be vague or even unkown, but I think those places are few and far between. It&#39;s going to take a lot more than a pedophile scandal to bring her down. It will be an apocalyptic world event that puts it into the hearts of the kings of the earth to destroy her, in all likelihood the "great military service" mentioned in Daniel 10:1, aka World War III, the one that the Watchtower prematurely identified as the Great War of 1914-1918.

You have to give the Watchtower credit for at least having their eyes on world events and proclaiming their meaning to the world, but we need to be sure that what we say is indeed true before we say it, because that very mistake will end up being the downfall of the WTBTS.

This is his (home) website, he pays for it and he owns it. We are all his guests in his house. I spoke to one of the freinds today who told me `there is no need to attempt to interpret the identity of BTG because it plainly states in the bible that BTG is the world empire of false religion`.

What they really meant is it plainly states in the - Revelation book -, which to this person is the same thing as the bible. Another thing said was any other interpretation was "man`s" interpretation. As if the revelation book was God`s interpretation of his own prophesy ! The rev book quietly states that it is an atempt, perhaps too quietly.

New Heart. It seems that the men in the ivory tower have made sure that as much prophesy as possible is seen to have already have fulfilled. This actually helps to consolidate thier power because it means that their are no suprises, and nothing to wait for. Yet stunningly this is at the expence of the `whole association` because the things that are coming are going to be difficult to weather.

Showing love for the `whole association` is actually something that you can now be disfellowshiped for. Issuing a warning about future difficulties is showing concern.

Babylon the Great will proberbley become much more consolidated than it is at the moment perhaps having to adhere to certain legislation issued from a UN high council. Babylon the Great has not yet finished its dirty work as regards Jehovah`s people and Great Tribulation is still ahead of us.

[/b][/quote]Hi Newheart....I found you&#39;re take on BTG and when fallen interesting, though I personally don&#39;t agree it has anything to do with the Catholics and child abuse, it does show that its just one of many appalling things that Jehovah disaproves of, I guess it is a culmination of things. The WTBTS believes it fell when Jesus came to inspect the house and found only one feeding his sheep, (Russell and WT), they say it was in 1870&#39;s I guess they have changed their dates so much I myself get confused. So judged according to WT and fallen in Gods&#39; eyes spiritually, waiting on death row for distruction. Not sure what other religions teach. But hey thanks for the interesting swing on things.

I recently learned about conspiracy theories. They are really quite fascinating! I even made a painting using the NWO in it. I am now confused if using those words would make me propogating an agenda that I do not want to propogate. Whatever I do, I think that if I am honest about the reason for using it , then I will be true to myself as an artist and more importantly, a Christian.

I just went off on a tangent......

OK. Ummm, Mmm, what was I talking about? Yes, I remember (blonde moment..go ahead and stereotype the blonde, its a good thing its excepted, you all stereotyper hypocrytes. You know what I think? I think ONLY blondes should be spared from making any generalizations. Since, as a collective stereotype group, blondes are dumb, sexy, and easy...well, I&#39;m just not all of those things, then, I think the law should state that blondes should be able to say anything about anyone and get a FREE PASS.)

OK, Viking. Show me your biblical arsenal about the NWO. Pretend I have never heard anything about it and you you want to warn me from the bible (only).

I have not read this whole thread but I don&#39;t think the real meaningful preaching has even started. That will come soon, just prior to the total end of this world, and it will dwarf what has been done so far. I know that JW&#39;s think that the little one has become a thousand, but as Randy Bachman always said "you ain&#39;t seen nothin yet". Sure Randy was no literary genious, but on this subject you could quote him and you would be right.
Seven Million is just dust on the scales.

I just read this thread, and I have to say that the preaching work has not even begun yet. The "Two Witnesses" will be the ones preaching the good news of the Kingdom and THEN the end will come. Once again, the WTBS is overstepping itself.
