I watched the presentation.

I`m left with a strange image of a baseball game. The WTBTS step up to bat for the people in the form of an ostrich, at the vital moment, - plunge thier head into the ground the moment the balls start coming.

Where as you e-watchman are knocking them out of the park with presentations like this. It`s spine chillingly awakening. So you have a new name.

Sorry but statements like this makes me very uneasy. Robert I respect your work very much, but when prediction are being made...even if its in vague terms , it makes me stand back a little. This is where the WTBTS went wrong and now they are suffering because of no longer having credability that is trust worthy. I see nothing wrong with stateing that apocakyotic events will take place soon but to give even a flimsy time frame by putting it in weeks and months can prove to be very dangerous.

Jesh I would hope that you're not implying that this is a message that I didnt want to hear. We all look forward to getting these troublesome times behind us and have nothing but good things to look forward to. All I was saying...and sorry if you took it wrong, was that I wouldnt want to se robert being rediculed for making predections that didnt come true. We already see the irreparable damage that it has done to the Watchtower. Didnt mean to offend.

Gabriel, I understand your visceral reaction, but I am not worried about being ridiculed. Whereas, you may be uneasy by my comment, I am uneasy over the world's situation. From my perspective it is an easy call. The chances of this system not imploding in the near term are next to nill.

The irony is, the WT got into trouble not because they were wrong but because they were right as regards 1914. What I mean is, as you all know, the WT had published their 1914 chronology some 40 years before 1914. And sure enough, WWI erupted in August of 1914. Even though they were initially anticipating Armageddon the events that took place in 1914 have only served to convince Jehovah's Witnesses that Christ was enthroned in 1914. No one could successfully convince the average JW otherwise. The irony is, though, that Jehovah's Witnesses are no longer really looking for the signs of Christ's presence. Jehovah's Witnesses are convinced that nation rising against nation, the prophesied food shortages, pandemics and earthquakes, along with the sword stroke on the seventh head of the beast, has already occurred.

However, at this particular moment in history the world stands poised to be plunged into the most destructive war that has ever been waged. Not only that, but the continued existence of the United States as a republic has never been more imperiled then at this very moment. There are, for example, a growing number of serious thinkers who are calling for the immediate impeachment of Cheney as the only way to prevent the U.S. from launching a nuclear strike on Iran and as the only way to prevent him from imposing a military dictatorship upon America. However, even if Congress did move to impeach the VP the process takes months and even then it may not accomplish the intended removal of the vice president. An impeachment could in fact push the neo con faction into doing what they are doing more quickly.

Even without the pressure of impeachment the neo-cons know their time in the Whitehouse will be up in a mere 15 months. Their plan to turn the U.S. into the reincarnation of the Roman Empire has to consumated in the coming weeks and months or else their scheme will not go forward.

What is driving the whole process is the ongoing disintergration of the global financial system. At this point the dominoes are already falling. I don't see any way the massive unwinding process can be reversed. For instance, back in August of 2001 the system nearly froze up. Then came 9-11. It allowed the U.S. Federal Reserve to quickly lower interest rates to near zero, which flooded Wall Street with liquidity. That fresh wall of money primarily went into real estate speculation and created the mortgage bubble and trillions of dollars of CDO's, MBS's and a half quad-trillion dollars of exotic derivatives.

The process allowed home owners to re-fi cash out, (Thanks Mr. Greenspan and Ditech dot com for helping e-watchman promote this site :liefde019: ) which in turn kept the consumer economy from collapsing. But now the mortgage bubble has blown out. The U.S. has reached Depression era levels of home foreclosures. The refi ATM machine is shutting down.

Some may ask: Why can't the Central bank just lower interest rates again and pump it back up? They might try. But the challenge they are now faced with, unlike in 2001, is that the now multi-trillion dollar current account defecit requires a capital inflo of 2 billion dollars per day, every day. Foreign capital comes into the U.S. to buy treasuries and higher yield bonds. Lowering the interest rates at this point would serve to choke off capital inflows at the very time they are needed most. So, it really is a perfect storm scenario that is developing -- A situation discribed in prophecy of "no way out."

Those who would ridicule the suggestion that the system is facing an imminent catastrophe are either unaware of what is happening or they are simply stupid. Jehovah, himself, offers a most timely exhortation and warning to the stupid ridiculers in the 3rd chapter of Proverbs"

Honestly Gabriel, I sat there for quite a few minutes wondering what I could say to you to make you feel better. I&#39;ve had a lot going on lately and I was drawing a blank. I felt bad for how you were feeling, but I also wanted to express my gratitude to Robert. My comment was not directed towards you at all.

I&#39;ve seen much of the ridicule directed at Robert from others around the net. I can relate to this very well myself, as I get ridiculed by many that I try to talk to about the rapidly approaching end of this system and the ushering in of Jehovah&#39;s new heavens and earth, including my own wife.

After reading Robert&#39;s post in response to your feelings, I couldn&#39;t have said it better myself. At some point though, Jehovah&#39;s day will come, Jesus will arrive in Presence, and we could only discern this by keeping our eyes on the world situation. This would be extremely difficult to do without the internet, so this is part of Jehovah&#39;s gift to us, the information highway. The middle east is primed for it&#39;s major eruption, the United States is poised for catastrophe and is in the hands of a Zionist-controlled Satanically rogue government set on bringing in global tyranny. All the infrastructure for the NWO is nearly if not all in place. It was 50 years ago that David Rockefeller said "All we need is the right major crisis, and the nations will accept the New World Order." That doesn&#39;t quite sound right. Why would the holy spirit include itself, as in "we are out of time"? Time isn&#39;t running out on the holy spirt nor is it running out for Christians. So, I would question the source of that message.

I know that some bethelites have online access and visit JW chatrooms I hope that they have ventured as far as e-tv.

Watchtower vids are always professionally produced and presented. Its good to have the sixty minutes kind of documentary though. The Watchtower film about the Russian persecutions was very good. That film, was up to the standard of this New-World-Order film. Some of the better WT stuff really sits well along side this.

I look forward to the point in time when it is embraced fully as such, all works acting in accord to the purpose.

Its great to have a personal presentation like this utilising the technology avaliable. I suppose the downside is that there is a Kingdom Hall somewhere missing a speaker. Thats the price.
