Brothers and sisters,

I have some questions that I would appreciate your thoughts on.

Now we know that the WTS teaches that those baptised as JW's are considered ordained ministers of God. I believe that to be true.

The questions are as follows:
Are those in other religions ministers?

Are those DF'd still ministers?

Can you lose your standing as a minister ( by leaving Jehovah ) and then get it back automatically when you return to Him?

Is that a goal that Jehovah expects of us?

Thank you,
James

Hi James, my guess is that there are two ways of looking at this, one from Mans viewpoint, and one from Gods.
From mans viewpoint, yes all current JWs are ordained, and presumably not when DFs and presumably you are as soon as you are back on the field service.
Other religions I think its the paid clergy who have been to theocratic school that are considered ordained.

As from Gods viewpoint, does he even use the term ordained minister?, and how do you know if your ordination from man is also viewed as an ordination from God?
My only guess would be if you feel you recieve the Holy Spirit, that is a good sign that Jehovah considers you a minister weither you are a current JW or not.
