On the Society's PR/media website (http://www.jw-media.org/)they have issued a response to the NBC expose of the organization's pedophilia scandal in which they refer to a recent (October 2007) Awake! magazine with an article entitled: Keep Your Children Safe!

Does anyone have a copy of that issue and if so can you scan it and upload the relevant portions to this thread? I would like to review and discuss the article on the forum here. If there are any non-members who have the Awake and are able to scan it you may email it to me as an attachment and I will post it here.

Thank you all for the emails and the offers of emailing the AWAKE. After reading the article and realizing it is so disgustingly hypocritical instead of simply discussing it here I thought I would go ahead and write a commentary and perhaps do a press release to let the media know how the WT has conned them. Also, I hope to have Timothy publish the AWAKE article as a PDF for those who wish to read it. Thanks again

IT WOULDNT HELP TO POST IT, AS IT DOESNT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT PEOPLE THAT OFFEND, ESPECIALLY ELDERS, AND SILENTLAMBS ALREADY TOOK THIS TO TASK AS IT MAKES A MOCKERY OF THE WHOLE THING, ESPECIALLY OF GODS WORD AND HIS STANDARDS. BUT WHEN THE END COMES THOSE, EVEN THOSE IN THE CONGREGATIONS THAT DO THESE THINGS WILL NOT GET AWAY WITH IT, EVEN THOSE THAT SUPPORT IT AND TELL LIES, EVEN SWEAR FALSLEY IN GODS NAME (1 PETER 4:17, PSALMS 1:5, EZEKIEL 9:6 ZEPHANIAH 5:1-11)
