Nothing against RK's upload of his book to audio format, but it is a little non user friendly. I don't know if I ever mentioned but I have some internet website experience...I don't know if i would go so far as saying "expertise" I am like Henry Ford, I know how to get the answers to my questions...any way.

I have listened to most of the book mostly from the website. Which is kind of a pain especially if you want to pause it and go back to it since streaming seems a little finicky. Now this is just my person experience and I can't remember every thing that i had an issue with, but there is a download option, which is nice.

A while back I downloaded the last 10 chapters all on my hard-drive, so i can listen with a "music player" app, and I was wondering if anyone would like me to make the entire book available at one location. One of the issues I was having is it takes a really long time to load the next chapter or any chapter, but I can download the whole book and upload the whole thing in one location to a server. I think i can make the whole book downloadable and/or individual chapters.

I have a website I use for business which I could upload to, but I would have to make it private and I wouldn't put the link here publicly, you'd have to PM me and unless I feel very comfortable with how well I know you, I'm not giving out that website here, or I can try to find a free download service maybe through my ISP...but before I do any of this one I want to make sure it is Okay with RK @Watchman and second that people want me to. If so, I'll make it happen!

Keep in mind, the only reason I'm making this thread is to make it a little easier to access the book because RK has done and is doing so much enough already as it is.

I don't understand much of what you're saying, but my question is: would I than be able to download it to an iPod/MP3 player so I can take it with me on my walks?

And because you asked that question is exactly why I am suggesting an alternative. You can already do that BTW...and the fact you asked "you'd you be able to download it so you can take it on walks"...was exactly the point!!! And the answer is yes...but more importantly knowing how you can do it!

I have no idea about that, unfortunately. But the links you sent don't really work, the way I hoped. Because they only take 2 to 3 minutes each and then you have to turn on the next one. So they don't run one after the other, unfortunately. But then, maybe I'm doing something wrong.... :rolleyes:

Why can't you just download the audio file from the player on each chapter? All you have to do is right click and save as, or if you are on a Mac control click

Might be worth a shot. I'd suggest your videos in other languages so that other people might be able to find them helpful. The closed caption on YouTube can miss the mark from time to time.

How could it possibly not be a good idea to upload it as an audio book? It is probably the only unbiased critique of the bible on the planet. That is its appeal. It offers an analysis of truth for people to consider. Every other book on the topic offers only an opinion of what is true. If it’s going to cost you $, then please let us know so that we can contribute.

When watching videos on Youtube , I notice a lot of comments from people are not from names I see on the forum . This means that others are watching Roberts videos . By adding an audio of , "Jehovah has become king" , it can only help more get to hear bible truths . Right there with yous .

That would save me the trouble...plus the YouTube web-player works really well. It saves wherever you left off automatically, which is especially nice since I'm often getting interrupted by people bugging me while I'm working, and would also mean I'm less likely to get irritated at the person interrupting me...LOL. It's also a lot easier to rewind 10 seconds or so, which I find myself needing to do because what I do some times distracts me from paying attention.

The only other thing though, is it's nice to have the book downloaded, IMO. Although I do have the best version of the book, the actual printed version, which can't be deleted and I don't need power to read it. Something else the R&F are going to regret when everything on the tablets/Ipads is no longer accessible.

Yes, please to all of it!! I like to listen to either the Bible or other Biblical themed talks while I do cardio/work out..and I think I would really benefit by this. TIA 🤗❤️
 
I don't really read books anymore. Especially if they are big books that take many hours to read. I think this is true especially with the millennial generation and those younger than them. I'm able to take in more information while driving or washing the dishes at home. Everything is too fast paced nowadays to only be focused on reading a book.
