I have a deep interest in understanding the prophecies in the book of Daniel, particularly because we are living during the fulfillment. But I just can’t seem to retain a clear picture and I have to keep going back to review the information. Perhaps part of why it is so difficult to keep it clearly in mind is because I had previously learned so much wrong information that I still get confused. So, as RK points out in the chapter, it is good to clear away the old and establish what we can acknowledge as correct. Here is a quote from Chapter 13:

“In reality, the king of the north has not “suffered a serious setback” with the disbanding of the USSR—as the Pay Attention to Daniel’s Prophecy commentary asserts. Rather than the king of the north, it is the Watchtower’s interpretation of Daniel’s prophecy that has suffered a serious setback. According to the prophecy of Daniel, the king of the north succeeds. It is the king of the south that suffers a “serious setback”—exactly the opposite of the Society’s interpretation….

Instead of refraining from speculating about who the next new king might be —as if there is not one at the present moment —it seems most timely to reconsider whether the USSR and Germany were ever in the position of the king of the north. Indeed, in view of the embarrassing fact that the Watchtower’s interpretations have led to a dead end, with no workable means of understanding present political developments in the light of prophecy, it is vital to clear away the old and establish a new framework in anticipation of the actual unsealing of the prophecy of Daniel during the time of the end.”

I understand that completely and I think you’re right because of what the watchtower has taught. The whole process has been relearning and like you I have to recheck things

Here is a scripture that RK has explained that I find “spot on”. When I previously read this scripture I thought to myself, how could I ever understand what is meant and who it applies to. But then after reading RK’s book, it is an “Aha” moment followed by me thinking, of course! That makes perfect sense.

Daniel 11:21-22: “And there will stand up in his position a despised one, and they will not give him the majesty of the kingdom; and he will come in during a time of security and take hold of the kingdom by means of smoothness. And the arms of the flood will be swept away on account of him, and they will be broken; as will be the Leader of the covenant.”

Here is RK’s explanation of these versus:

Would-be Bible interpreters do well to keep in mind that the Bible interprets itself. For example, the ninth chapter of Daniel refers to the Jewish holy place (the splendid kingdom) and “the people of a leader” being flooded over and made desolate by a disgusting thing after the Messiah is cut off. That is the exact same subject matter of the verse in question in connection with the king of the north.

It seems reasonable to conclude that “they” who are spoken of as being flooded over and “broken” at Daniel 11:22 are the residents of the “splendid kingdom” who tragically rejected the “Leader of the covenant.” The flood of desolation, of course, occurred in 70 CE when the Romans under General Titus utterly destroyed Jerusalem.”

The Watchtower came to the realization that their interpretation of the king of the north being queen Zenobia and Ceaser's pretorian guard didn't work. But instead of accepting what I presented, they scrapped the whole thing and now claim that there was no king of the north from Constantine until C.T. Russell. Truly mind-numbing.

To me when reading RK’s book and other articles as well as listening to his videos is helping put puzzle pieces in place. I still don’t have ALL the puzzle pieces, but slowly and surely I am adding to the overall grand picture. The initial puzzle pieces are what I learned in my initial bible study when becoming one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and I thank Jehovah for that as well as for the continued knowledge that is helping me. I just hope my brain can contain all the info but it sometimes seems like a sieve with a lot leaking out.

If you want to know how Anglo war propaganda works check out this video below. Putin is being charged as a war criminal for taking children out of the war zone and teaching them classical music. If there was any doubt that the king of the north has disregarded the old gods, this might help.

I enjoyed reading this reply Robert gave to Melina the other day.
After the financial collapse and possible Chinese Troops come across our border... You stated in your last article London is the seat of Satan....after the downfall of America the Great Cedar is chopped down.....Will the British empire team up with Russia and China to bring about the 8th King the NWO?

We know the last kingdom will descend from the Grecko-Roman civilizations of the past. So, there is no possibility of Russia or China becoming the top dog, even though from a human point of view it is entirely possible. However, the last ascending king will succeed by deception. That being the case, I suspect the money monarchs have secretly allied with Russia and China to subdue America. Not the American military mind you, but the American citizenry, the patriots, so that there is no possibility of America ever becoming great again. The reason I suspect foreign troops will be invited into America is because in a martial law scenario, American troops might not be inclined to war against their fellow Americans. Foreign troops, be they Chinese, Pakistani, or whatever, would not have the same reservations. It is hard to envision such a thing, but I think that is what Joel is describing, something totally mind-blowing. Jehovah says: “Hear this, you elders, and pay attention, all you inhabitants of the land. Has anything like this happened in your days or in the days of your forefathers? Tell about it to your sons, and let your sons tell about it to their sons, and their sons to the next generation."

This scripture popped into my mind when I heard his reply- when Robert said " I suspect the money monarchs have secretly allied with Russia and China to subdue America. end quote

Daniel11:

39 And he will act effectively against the most fortified strongholds, along with a foreign god. Whoever has given [him] recognition he will make abound with glory, and he will actually make them rule among many; and [the] ground he will apportion out for a price.

The hypothesis of the 'Little Nation'...was just so profound, I knew I was being taught my bible!

Kind of like trying to get a drink from an open fire hydrant or a raging stream.
So much water rushes past but still you get satisfied with what you manage to capture.

5 years ago I posted a link on e-watchman that the British oligarchs and financial institutions bought into the Chinese banking system, to cover their assets in expectations of a Chinese US conflict. Robert replied that is was a diabolical move on the part of money men going behind the US stooges to hedge their bets.. It should be known, Britain's opium hub, was Hong Kong for 100 years..Before its repatriation back to Chinese interests.. another point, Britain has been partners with China for 150 yrs..in trade goods such as silk, gold, dope and other precious materials.. The british empire is an enemy of every country on earth...

Take a look at Covid 19...We know Covid was manufactured in a lab. We know it was planned. How did China and Russia respond? They responded exactly as the United Nations encouraged all nations to do. Both countries locked down and they both countries rolled a vaccine to save the day. That alone tells me they are in bed with the King of North.

The hypothesis of the 'Little Nation'...was just so profound, I knew I was being taught my bible!
For those who may need a reminder of the Little Nation info that MH is referring to, here is quote from Robert’s book:

”After the death of the apostles, Christianity gradually became more and more corrupt. Eventually, even though Christians only composed about 10% of the total population living under Roman rule in the fourth century, Emperor Constantine made “Christianity” the state religion. Hence, Christendom was born.

By those means the Roman Empire was poised to “become mighty by means of a little nation”—the “little nation” that sprang from the Israel of God. And by means of false Christians “allying themselves with him,” the king of the north was able to “carry on deception.”
Think of it— by Constantine making apostate Christianity the official religion of the sprawling realm, the emperor of Rome —the king of the north —became the titular head of what had been Christ’s congregation.

And what far-reaching effects that deceptive alliance has had! To this day, Christendom is inseparably yoked with the political rulers. In Great Britain, for example, the monarch is also the head of the Church of England. Because of this enduring unholy alliance, hundreds of millions of Catholics, Protestants and members of Orthodox churches remain under the false doctrinal system of worship first instituted by Emperor Constantine’s Council of Nicea.”

The idol described in Daniel with the feet of iron mixed with moist clay is wonderfully explained in this paragraph. So simple and yet such a perfect fit to this puzzle piece.

”The king of the north and king of the south are also symbolized by the iron and the clay feet of Nebuchadnezzar’s metallic colossus. But what do those two incompatible materials symbolize in the real world? Simply put—the iron represents empire and the clay represents the republican, democratic form of government. Iron being a fitting symbol for iron-fisted imperial rule; whereas, since mankind was originally made from the dust of the earth, the properties of clay make it a fitting symbol for the common man. The very Preamble to the United States Constitution says it best — ‘We the people.’”

To realize that the dual world power of Britain (the City of London) and the US are really the King of the North and the King of the South and that even though they are ruling together, they really don’t stick together. Amazing insight.

Supposedly, the primary purpose of God giving us the prophecy was not just to impress us with his foresight. One of the main purposes of the prophecy is to show how God's purposes have unfolded and will unfold in relation to His people.

Certainly, Jehovah's purpose is closely intertwined with Christendom's storied past, if only so that we are aware of our spiritual heritage, making we are enabled to understand why the world is in the state right now in which it finds itself in terms of world politics and its religious conditions.

What a wealth of understanding contained in two sentences; I am glad that Jehovah brought me here

It take a bit of history to understand how the “City of London” has its roots in the Roman Empire, which are pictured by the iron legs of the image described in Daniel.

Another quote from RK’s book:

To fully understand the ongoing war between the king of the north and king of the south today, it should be appreciated that there was a time when the king of the north completely dominated. The prophecy in the second chapter of Daniel also makes it evident that the iron and clay making up the feet and toes of the political image is only a relatively recent phenomenon. The legs of iron indicate that a sole empire ruled prior to the clay and iron mixture. History testifies to the fact the Roman Empire and its offspring, Christendom, and finally the British Empire, have each taken their turn. But, while the Vatican and Constantinople were vying for religious and political control of a vast portion of the planet during the so-called Dark Ages, Venice quietly became the financial capital of the world.

Under their appointed doge, the billionaire club of the Venetian oligarchy established Venice as the most powerful city-state in all of feudalistic Europe. Then, in the 16th century, the Venetians exported their usurious financial system to London, so that during the intervening centuries the transplanted Venetian arrangement gradually transformed itself into the modern Wall Street-IMF, global financial system.

It is considered an open secret that the London-centered oligarchy of today was modeled after the Venetian organization. By means of Venice’s transplanted financier system, the City of London became the inheritor and perpetuator of the Roman Empire; hence, the king of the north. What about the king of the south?

It take a bit of history to understand how the “City of London” has its roots in the Roman Empire, which are pictured by the iron legs of the image described in Daniel.

1500 years before this the Roman Empire was already obsessed with the Isle. See Boudica's story in 60 AD as an example.

Britain and "Londinius" were part of the Roman Empire since time immemorial. You can see it in their (UK) and our (US) architecture.
