I like to listen to various alternative news programs...but I get sick of them, even though I really want to know what's happening next.

Often times I check Robert's YouTube channel, hoping there is something new...although, it's quite likely I haven't listened to everything he's put out but I think Io have listened to most.... I listened to a couple of his videos today, again maybe?......and I wanted to point a couple of things out. First of all, RK, said exactly what I have said since I came here, in one of his videos, probably more than one, a long time ago. Way before I came here, at least the video I listened to today. I have commented before, about "the ring of truth." Now what Robert said is obvious, and therefore so is what I have said...but it just reinforces that I am at the right place at the right time.

In the video I listened to today he points out that the "GB" compare themselves to the Apostles by calling the apostles, "First century Governing Body." And says exactly what I have been saying since I got here...obviously RK said these things way before me...but that they are doing this to elevate themselves to Christ's Apostles.

When I hear this in one of RK's videos, even though this is an obvious conclusion, I KNOW I am in the right place, at the right time, that we have the actual truth, as far as we can at this time, and that I am on the right path...and so are all of us, here exchanging our ideas and understanding.

It's very special and it is awesome! Thank you all!

Yes it is extremely awesome here brother! You and countless others in our congregation here are the reason I log in as often as I can, to see what you guys have said during my "days of mandatory distractions", namely, work LOL. I have "associated" with the members of this congregation FAR MORE than I have with any other congregation I have ever been a member of over the years, save for the early ones back in the late 70's when I was a new JW and very much involved for a while.

I have mentioned this before but it is my intention to have a raging barbeque at our house (this is all god willing of course) and all of our congregation here are invited (sorry future residents of heaven, you guys will have to observe from the spirit realm LOL). I will have a full stock of surfboards for everyone as well as musical instruments. We will kick up our heals in honor of Jehovah and Jesus and be able to enjoy each other's company in person instead of digitally as we do now. But alas, this is the best congo I have ever had the grand privilege of being a member of and it is of no small matter that you Nomex are a great and awesome friend for me and Susan to have in these incredible times we now live in. And thank you all (to parrot Nomex) for being special and awesome as well! Aloha to all!!

Oh my goodness Meditator, you almost made me want to cry. My sentiments are yours as well. I’ll look very forward to coming to your barbeque whenever the time comes. Thank you for your expressions.

Nomex, I feel the same way as you. We came on here around the same time and I would’ve never dreamed I would make the friends I have even though we may be many miles apart. This was and has been such a godsend for me especially after experiencing the loss of my husband. You, as well as others have been such good and truly encouraging friends.

I’ll never forget when I started to read your comments going back and forth with others and how much I laughed. I laughed so hard I couldn’t stop. It’s just what I needed at that particularly dark time.

I’m happy to have gotten to know quite a few on here. And I appreciate Robert so very much for the nourishing spiritual food we receive from him. I believe with my whole heart that Jehovah provided us with this safe haven for now until Jesus returns We wouldn’t expect anything less from a loving Father.

This has been special for me too and I thank everyone, with love!

It is indeed Nomex 😍 I feel like I'd come to a complete halt spiritually before a watcher found me in the "dump" (exjw Reddit ) But now I'm back to learning and understanding God's word again 😁 thank you one and all 🤗

I do the same exact thing. I've probably listened to all the podcasts and all the videos Robert has put out. Been really busy lately with the tie gang. That's why I've been MIA lately. But as for that BBQ, you can definitely put me on the list. Whether not the chosen class can attend is up in the air. See what I did there? No pun intended, or was it? I don't know about you guys, but I adore good food, and I don't think they have BBQs in heaven seeing as though you don't require food in heaven.

However, this doesn't mean angels never ate human food. There are a few examples of angels staying for dinner in the bible. The three angels who visited Abraham and Sarah stayed for dinner. The two angels who visited Lot in Sodom stayed for dinner. So if angels can put on bodies and eat food I don't see why the 144,000 couldn't at least occasionally enjoy a meal with family and friends. God isn't unreasonable.

Yeah, I know Robert has said before that members of the 144,000 wouldn't have any reason to appear on earth in physical bodies, but I don't necessarily agree. Even if they had to fashion a different appearance, I can't imagine many better reasons to appear physically on earth than a good BBQ. They're going to be kings and priests over the earth, right? They deserve a lunch break now and then. Come on. Not that they need it, but who the heck only eats just because they need it? I know if I was adopted by Jah I'd absolutely drop by earth for food now and then. I'd be getting some chicken wings or something. If we don't eat meat anymore, fine I'll just get some sweet potatoes. I don't know. I'll cross that bridge if I ever come to it.
 
Just for the record, I know at least one person that came to Love Jehovah and understand the truth from brother Robert and this site..He also never missed an opportunity to tell others about Jehovah. From the time he started learning until Covid he never missed the memorial at the KH. Whenever he left a store he would yell out, "May Jehovah bless you" and some were very happy to hear that.. He even got a Bible into the hand of a Muslim friend..Just for the record..
